SOA has become the focus of attention as it is perceived as a concept toward integrative service which helps companies respond quickly to the changes in market needs. This study is aimed to find out success factors for building SOA. We carried out two case studies on companies that adopted SOA successfully in Korea and conducted a survey to collect opinions from experts and experienced managers whose job is related to SOA. The critical successful factors found in this study include: 1) establishment of the SOA taskforce based on CIO's strong support, 2) formation of the corporate-wide consensus and the adoption of standards, 3) active user participation in defining services and obliterating duplication, 4) accomplishment of flexibility in services and business agility based on integrated infrastructure, and 5) securing project budget and consistent support by way of using measurement index for SOA investment effects.

E-Commerce, characterized by the exchange of message, occurs between individuals, organizations, or both. A critical promotion factor of e-Commerce is message authentication, the procedure that allows communicating parties to verify the received messages are authentic. It consists of message unforgery, message non-repudiation, message unalteration, and origin authentication. It is possible to perform message authentication by the use of public key encryption. PGP(Pretty Good Privacy) based on X.400 MHS(Message Handling System) and PKC(Public Key Cryptosystem) makes extensive use of message exchange. In this paper we propose, design and implement NMAP(New Message Authentication Protocol), an applied public information based encryption system to solve the message authentication problem inherent in public key encryption such as X.400 protocol and PGP protocol and were to cope with the verification of NMAP using fuzzy integral. This system is expected to be use in the promotion of the e-Commerce and can perform a non-interactive authentication service.
The recent movement to deregulated and competitive electricity market reacquires new concepts against existing central dispatch in the system operation and pinning. As power systems tend to be operated more closely to their ultimate ratings, the role of SCOPF (Security Constrained Optimal Power flow) is changed and the importance for real-time security inhancement will be more increased i]1 the new and com partitive electricity market. This paper deals with the application of the SCOPF which makes possible the On-Line application. The security margin of power system truly is changed according to the conditions or configuration of power systems, therefore, the sensitivity factor reiated to the security is recalculated and the application should be updated in accordance with the state of power system. The goal of this paper is to obtain proper security through the effluent usage of the sensitivity and to apply this a1gorithm to system operation. The proposed mechanism has been tested on a sample system and the results show more secure conditions against critical contingencies.
This study was carried out to obtain baseline data on the causes of industrial accidents and their prevention by investigating structural models between the Shipyard workers' egogram ego-states (CP: Critical Parent, NP: Nurturing Parent, A: Adult, FC: Free Child, AC: Adapted Child), safe and unsafe behaviors, and industrial accidents (frequency/severity). In order to achieve this goal, 378 workers from 3 locations of major corporations in Geojedo Island and Ulsan took a questionnaire, which was then analyzed with a structural equation model using the SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 24 statistics package, and the main results of the study are as follows. First, NP and A's ego-states had a positive influence on safe behavior, AC's ego-state had a negative influence on safe behavior, and A's ego-state had the largest influence on safe behavior. Second, CP and AC's ego-states had a positive influence on unsafe behavior, and A's ego-state had a negative influence on unsafe behavior. AC's ego-state had the largest influence on unsafe behavior. Third, safe behavior did not have a significant influence on industrial accidents. However, unsafe behavior had a positive influence on industrial accident frequency and industrial accident severity, both sub-factors of industrial accidents. This study, despite its limitations, such as sampling limitations, has the following significance. First, this study verified that ego-state, a psychological characteristic, is an important factor for predicting unsafe behavior that induces industrial accidents. Second, in order to reduce industrial accidents, there is a need to stimulate the A ego-states, and promote continuous safety management and safety education to neutralize the AC ego-state. Third, previous studies were limited in the area of practical methods for reducing unsafe behaviors, but this study presents practical methods for reducing unsafe behaviors by verifying the structural relationship between safe/unsafe behaviors and industrial accidents by selecting ego-gram ego-states, variable personality theory, as an independent variable.
Purpose: Adolescence is viewed as a critical period in the formation of health behavior and many health behaviors developed during this era persist into adulthood. Social-cognitive theory, self-efficacy as a central construct, has been used to predict and intervene the health behavioral patterns in adolescent. Previous research demonstrated that the attachment in childhood and self-esteem as psychosocial factors are predictors of the health efficacy in adolescent and it is viewed as solely an antecedent for the lifelong health behavior. Method: To investigate the path pattern of attachment in childhood, self-esteem and health efficacy in adolescents, 381 adolescents in high school from two urban cities in Korea were recruited for cross-sectional sample. Attachment in childhood was measured using Mother-Father-Peer Scale. Self esteem was measured with Hare self esteem. Perceived self efficacy in Health was measured by the School Health Efficacy Questionnaire. The path analysis revealed a significant relationship between attachment in childhood and self-esteem, self-esteem and health efficacy in adolescents. Self esteem was the strongest contributing factor for health efficacy in adolescent. The results suggest that attachment in childhood may aid in formulating positive self -esteem in adolescents and self-esteem played a major role in predicting health efficacy in adolescents. Conclusion: Therefore, self-esteem enrichment should be incorporated with adolescent health promotion and certainly should be a component in any health education program in school health program and interventions. These results have implications of psychosocial and family related factors on health promotion and health education for the health care provider with regard to primary and secondary prevention in adolescent population.
Numerous seagrass habitat restoration projects have been attempted recently due to the remarkable decline in seagrass coverage. Seagrass transplants tend to adapt to a new environment after experiencing transplanting stress during the early stages of transplantation. Once acclimated, the transplants grow into healthy seagrass beds via vegetative propagation. The establishment and growth dynamics of transplanted seagrasses in bays and coasts are widely reported, but few studies have been conducted on estuaries in Korea. We transplanted Zostera marina in November 2007 and November 2008 in the Nakdong estuary using the staple method, and monitored the survival, adaptation, and growth dynamics of the transplants as well as environmental factors every month for 1 year. Both transplants adapted well to the new environment without initial losses and showed rapid productivity during early summer. However, density of transplants increased 320% in 1 year from the previous year's transplants but that decreased to 59% during the following year. This significant reduction in density in the second year may have been caused by exposure to low salinity (10 psu) for 3 weeks during the unusually long monsoon season. While the survival and growth dynamics of seagrass transplants planted in bays and coasts are mainly controlled by underwater photon flux density and water temperature, salinity was the critical factor for those planted in Nakdong estuary.

Wearing ease is a critical factor when designing special uniforms such as flight pilot's garment and should reflect occupational properties for better performance. This study measured skin surface on 31 areas in seven postures that refer to the pilot's occupational postures as well as made six prediction models including linear mixed model (LMM) for each body part to find the best fit model. Skin surface measured from 3D body scanned images of 11 male pilot participants. There were significantly positive and negative changes in various areas from standing posture (P1) to dynamic postures (P2-P7). Six models were designed in various compositions using stature and chest circumference as fixed effects and subject and posture as random effects. The best models were linear mixed models with one fixed effect (chest circumference or stature, varies with body parts) and two random effects (subject and posture). The results of this study provide reference data to set wearing ease for pilot's garment and suggests a new methodology in this research area, but verifying the effect of diverse independent variables is left for future studies.
Rupture directivity is the important parameter in estimating damage due to earthquakes. However, the traditional moment tensor inversion technique cannot resolve the real fault plane or the rupture directivity. To overcome these limitations, we have developed a new inversion algorithm to determine the moment tensor solution and the rupture directivity for moderate earthquakes, using the waveform inversion technique in the frequency domain. Numerical experiments for unilateral and bilateral rupture models with various rupture velocities confirm that the method can resolve the ambiguity of the fault planes and the rupture directivity successfully. To verify the feasibility of the technique, we tested the sensitivity to velocity models, which must be the most critical factor in practice. The results of the sensitivity tests show that the method can be applied even though the velocity model is not perfect. If this method is applied in regions where the velocity model is well verified, we can estimate the rupture directivity of a moderate earthquake. This method makes a significant contribution to understanding the characteristics of earthquakes in those regions.
The purpose of this study was to analyze changing aspect of teacher and student's value in mathematics instruction. For this purpose, teacher and student's value are analyzed through value questionnaire by four times. The results of this study revealed that although value are individual's deep decision mechanism, it could change considerably by the time. Teacher wasn't compel students to follow her value. Rather, teacher was modified instruction goal to reflect students thinking what is important in mathematics lesson. First, in case of mathematical value, rationalism, objectism, mystery were convergent each other. And control was almost unchanged and openness has been onwards and upwards. Second, in case of mathematics educational value, understanding, pleasure, terminology and application were convergent each other. However achievement was almost unchanged. Also, to teach effectively, teacher using several kinds strategy while negotiate with student's value continuously. On the basis of these results, this paper includes several implications for the future study about values in mathematics which could be the critical factor in student centered instruction.

As modern industries are highly being developed, it is required that mechanical parts have to be manufactured with a high precision. In order to have precise parts, error-free designs have to be done before manufacturing with accuracy. For this intention being fulfilled, a mechanical analysis is essential for design proof. Nowadays, FEM simulation is a popular tool for verifying a machine design. In this paper, an impeller, being utilized in a compressor or an oil mixer as an actuator, is studied for an evaluation. The purpose of this study is to present a safety of an impeller for a proof of its mechanical stability. A static analysis for stress, strain, and deformation within a regular usage is examined. This simulation test shows 357.26×106 Pa for maximum equivalent stress and 0.207mm for total deformation. A fatigue test is carried to provide durability and its result shows that minimum safety factor is 3.2889, which guarantees that it runs without a fatigue failure in 106 cycles. The natural frequencies for the impeller is ranged from 228.09Hz to 1,253.6Hz for the 1st to the 6th mode. Total deformations at these natural frequencies are shown from 6.84mm to 12.631mm. Furthermore, Campbell diagram reveals that a critical speed is not found throughout regular rotational speeds. From the test results for the analysis, this paper concludes that the suggested impeller is proved for its mechanical safety and good to utilize at industries.
