12% Cr 강의 크리이프중 전위거동에 관한 연구 (Study on the Dislocation Behavior during Creep in 12% Chromium Steel)

  • In order to check the effect of dislocation behavior on creep rate in 12% Chromium steel, 14 samples of different compositions were examined by creep rupture test, and subgrain sizes, distribution of dislocations and precipitates were checked. And, authors reviewed the behaviors of dislocations, the formation and growth of subgrains and precipitates during creep. The results are as the following: 1) Creep rates calculated by .epsilon. over dot = .rho.bv show 10-15% higher values than actual data measured. However, authors conclude that the density and velocity of dislocations together with subgrain size are important factors governing deformation during creep in 12% chromium steel. 2) The values of the strength of obstacles in the mobility of dislocations are more clearly depended on the effective stress in the range of $10{\pm}5kgf/mm^{2}$ and increase with the increase of temperature. 3) Creep rates decrease with the smaller sizes of subgrains formed and can result in the longer creep rupture lives(hours). The smaller subgrains can be made by forming shorter free gliding distances of dislocations with very fine precipitates formed in the matrix during creep by applying proper alloy design. 4) Dislocation mobility gets hindered by precipitates occurring, which are coarsened by the softening process governed by diffusion during long time creep.

  • This study is concerned with creep mechanism of SUS 316 under high stresses. Creep tests were conducted at temperatures between $480^{\circ} and $820^{\circ}C and stresses between 7.6 and 24.6$kg/mm^2$. To investigate the mechanism of the steady-state creep under high stresses, work hardening coefficient and activation energy are obtained. The activation energy was calculated by means of the temperature differential test together with the method of correlating the creep rates against the inverse of the absolute temperature for different stresses and strains. From the experimental results and their analyzed facts, it is concluded that the steady-state creep behavior of SUS 316 under high stresses is controlled by dislocation glide mechanism.

  • Spray casting of hypereutectic Al-Si based alloy has been reported to provide distinct advantages over ingot metallurgy (IM) or rapid solidification/powder metallurgy (RS/PM) process in terms of microstructure refinement. Hypereutectic Al-Si based alloys have been regarded attractive for automotive and aerospace application, due to high specific strength, good wear resistance, low coefficient of thermal expansion, high thermal stability, and good creep resistance. In this study, hypereutectic Al-25Si-2.0Cu-1.0Mg alloy was prepared by OSPREY spray casting process. High temperature deformation behavior of the hypereutectic Al-Si based alloy has been investigated by applying the internal variable theory proposed by Chang et al. The change of strain rate sensitivity and Creep transition were analyzed by using the load relaxation test and constant creep test.

이방과압밀점토의 비배수크리프파괴 (V%drained Creep Rupture of an Anisotropically Overconsolidated Clay)

  • 이방압밀이 과압밀점토의 비배수크리프파괴거동에 미치는 영향을 연구하기 위하여 등방 및 이방과압일시킨 점토시료에 대해서 비배수상태에서 크리프시험을 수행하였다. 연구결과 비배수 크리프파괴거동은 점토시료의 응력이력 즉 과압밀비와 압밀응력비$(\sigma_{3c}/\sigma_{le})$의 크기에 의해서 영향을 크게 받는다는 사실이 밝혀졌다. 즉 점토의 크리프강도는 과압밀비와 압밀응력비가 클수록 증가하므로 정지토압계수가 1.0보다 작은 점토지반의 크리프파괴 가능성을 등방압밀크리프피 괴시험에 의해서 판단하는 것은 위험하다. 그리고 점토의 크리프강도는 과압밀비와 압밀응력비의 크기에 관계없이 Finn과 Shead(1973)의 제안식에 의한 상한항복강도로서 구할 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문은 스트레인 게이지(strain gauge)식 로드셀(loadcell)의 대표적인 크립오차(creep error)에 대해서 디지털 신호처리방식을 사용한 실용적인 보상법(compensation method)을 제안한다. 신호의 보상방법은 로드셀의 출력응답을 실측해서 보상상수(시정수)와 보상계수를 결정한 후 마이크로프로세서의 내부메모리에 보상상수와 보상계수를 저장한 후 중량값을 디지털로 표시할 시점에 마이크로프로세서에서 연산처리한 크립에러 보상처리값을 로드셀의 출력신호에서 실측한 에러값과 서로 상쇠시키는 보상방법이다. 추가적으로 보상방법을 디지털전자저울에 직접 적용 시험하기 위해서 전용의 보상소프트웨어를 제작한 후 디지털전자저울의 크립특성을 실측해서 보상전 정격출력의 크립오차 0.03%의 로드셀을 정밀디지털전자저울의 허용오차 범위인 0.01%~0.001%이상으로 복잡한 연산처리 없이 정확하게 직접 보상처리하는 실용적인 방법을 제안했다.

  • The high temperature creep properties of the generating plant's high temperature tube, pipe and header and such are very significant in accordance with long-time exposure to the high temperature and pressure environment. Not only this, but as the welding procedure is compulsory for the cohesion of components, the creep properties regarding the local microstructures of steel weldment are very important. In order to understand the creep properties regarding the local microstructures of steel weldment, the SP-Creep test which is easy to get sample from the field component was conducted. The local microstructure of steel weldment, that is, W.M. and B.M.'s microstructures were observed using the SEM. The rupture time of W.M. was longer as 110 % averagely in a same condition, which is the consequence of the difference of the microstructure. Each lethargy coefficient of B.M. and W.M. is evaluated by the relation among the temperature, load and the rupture time from SP-Creep Test. The life estimation equation can be induced by the transformation of Power-law. B.M. and W.M. for each $550\;^{\circ}C$ and $575\;^{\circ}C$, the very similar to normal temperature of the domestic thermal power generation in working, are estimated.

Type 316LN 스테인리스강의 장시간 크리프 수명 예측을 위한 최소구속법의 적용 (Application of Minimum Commitment Method for Predicting Long-Term Creep Life of Type 316LN Stainless Steel)

  • Abstract: A minimum commitment method(MCM) was applied to predict the long-term creep rupture life for type 316LN stainless steel(SS). Lots of the creep-rupture data for the type 316LN SS were collected through world-wide literature surveys and the experimental data of KAERI. Using these data, the long-term creep rupture life above ${10}^5$ hour was predicted by means of the MCM. In order to obtain the most appropriate value for the constant A being used in the MCM equation, trial and error method was used for the wide ranges from -0.12 to 0.12, and the best value was determined by using the coefficient of determination, $R^2$ which is a statistical parameter. A suitable value for the A in type 316LN stainless steel was found to be at -0.02 ~ -0.05 ranges. It is considered that the MCM will be superior in creep-life prediction to commonly-used timetemperature parametric method, because the P(T) and G($\sigma$) functions are determined from the regression method based on experimental data.

  • 콘크리트 사장교는 콘크리트의 시간의존 효과를 고려하여 케이블 장력을 조정할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 콘크리트의 시간의존효과 중 크리프를 오차요인으로 고려하여 콘크리트 사장교에서 처짐과 케이블 장력의 측정값들로부터 크리프 계수를 추정하는 방법을 제안하고 크리프 계수 오차의 영향을 분석하였다.

  • The purpose of this work is to general approach to numerically simulating wear in rolling and sliding contact area between wheel and rail interface based on the analysis of dynamics with general MBS package. A simulation scheme is developed that calculates the wear at a detailed level. The estimation of material removal follows Archard's wear equation which states that the reduction of volume is linearly proportional to the sliding distance, the normal applied load and the wear coefficient and inverse proportional to hardness. The main research application is the wheel-rail contact of Korea High Speed Railway.
