보건소 영양사의 직무 특성 및 일반적 특성과 직무만족도의 관련성에 관한 연구 (A Survey on job characteristics and relationships between general characteristics and job satisfaction of the dietician in community health center)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the job characteristics and relationships between general characteristics and job satisfaction of the dietician in community health center. The subjects were 40 dieticians who responded to the questionnaire distributed at the annual education program in 1997. Statistical data analysis was completed using SAS package program for frequencies, means, $x^2$-test, ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. 45.0% of the dieticians were 26 to 30 years old, four-year-course university graduates were 75.0% and daily workers were 72.5% The level of the job satisfaction of the dietician in community health center was the highest in the relationship with colleagues. The other parts of job satisfaction such as effects of nutrition counselling and education, value achievement as a dietician, general work and supervision by supervisors were above average, The general characteristics such as the age, the level of education, employment conditions, working hours per week and total length of service were significantly to all fields of job satisfaction except general work.

Self-evaluated knowledge of pharmacy customers in South-Estonia about the use and safety of herbal products

  • Medicinal plants and their products are popular in Estonia. There are two approaches to use of herbal products: first, that based on traditions and practical experience and, second, that supported by scientific evidence. It is important to marry these two approaches. One place where traditions and new knowledge could meet is the pharmacy. In this study we evaluated knowledge about the use and safety of herbal products of pharmacy customers in South-Estonia. A convenience sample of pharmacy customers in south Estonia (n = 196) participated in the study. Of the survey participants, 76% were frequent or occasional users of herbal products and considered these products safe (75%) and effective (73%). Herbal products were mostly (91%) consumed for prophylaxis or treatment of minor illnesses. Main information sources about herbal products were pharmacists (75%) and package information leaflets (65%). Mode of action (95%), administration (81%) and indication (77%) were the information details more frequently sought from the pharmacy about herbal products. Of the survey participants, 22% described some problems connected with the use of herbal products. Herbal products are popular in Estonia and pharmacists have an important role in counselling on these products. Despite knowledgeable use of herbal products and infrequent experience of side effects with these products, safety issues should be more stressed in the providing of information details to pharmacy customers.

소규모 사업장의 보건관리 간호업무에 대한 관찰연구에서의 장애요인 (Interfering Elements in Observation Research on Occupational Health Nursing Services Applied to Small-scale-enterprises of Korea)

  • This study was done in an attempt to reveal those factors interfering with the observation study. Three trained research assistants collected data by observing the two occupational health nurses working in the small scale enterprises on the 3rd and 10th of February, 1999. The first observation was performed on the 3rd of February without observation guidance. Guidance was given during the second observation on the 10th of February. These data were compared between reporters in nursing services of 'Workplace visiting', 'Health counselling' and 'Blood pressure checking' according to nursing time and frequency. These areas were chosen because these activities were regarded as clearly identifiable by observers in contrast to the other performances. The data showed inconsistency between reporters. However, they were reduced when reporters observed nurses with guidance, although there were still minor differences between data in time and frequency. Discussions were carried out to find possible reasons for these differences. The causes were mainly attributed to the difficulty in workplace conditions to observe, the work specificity of nurses visiting each workplace and the delicate situation between nurses and observers when reporters were travelling in the nurse's car. Therefore, the results suggest that the observation method applied to the nursing service research at small-scale enterprises should be more concerned about the selection of appropriate workplace and operational definition of nursing activity in order to more precisely measure nurses' attitudes.

Discussing Sexuality with Cancer Patients: Oncology Nurses Attitudes and Views

  • Background: Sexual health and function frequently are overlooked by healthcare professionals despite being identified as an essential aspect of patient care. Patients with cancer have identified sexuality issues as being of equal importance to other quality-of-life issues. Objectives: The aim of this study was to determine the views and attitudes of oncology nurses caring for cancer patients regarding sexual counseling. Participants and Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted on the web site of the Turkish Oncology Nurses Association. With the participation of 87 nurses from oncology departments, the study determined that most nurses do not evaluate and counsel patients regarding their sexual problems and many difficulties prevent them from focussing on sexual health. The most important reasons for ignoring sexual counseling were the absence of routine regarding sexual counseling in oncology departments, the belief that the patient may become ashamed and the nurses' self-evaluation that they have insufficient skills and education to counsel in this subject. Conclusions: The most important variables in sexual evaluation and counseling are long years of service in the profession and a postgraduate degree.

경북 지역 학교 영양 교사의 영양 상담 시행에 따른 직무만족도와 중요도-수행도 조사 (Job Satisfaction and Perception of Importance-Performance among Nutrition Counseling by Nutrition Teachers in Kyungbuk Area)

  • The purpose of this study was to assess the practical nutrition counseling system by investigating job perception and satisfaction among school nutrition teachers in Kyungbuk area. One hundred and fifty school nutrition teachers were surveyed and 128 answered(85.3%). Data were analyzed by frequency(%), $x^2$-test, and pearson's correlation analyses. Nutrition teachers in elementary schools conducted nutrition counseling more than those in middle schools. In descending order, the reasons for not conducting nutrition education were lack of time, inadequate system for the nutrition counseling, lack of curriculum and lack of facilities. Respondents thought that reduced workload was important to conduct nutrition counseling. However, nutrition counseling should be actively utilized as teachers showed high satisfaction. Therefore, systematic support from related departments combined with effective nutrition counselling methods for nutrition teachers should be continuously provided.

학대받은 아동에 대한 현상학적 연구 (A Phenomenological Study on the experience of the physically abused children)

  • 본 연구는 학대받은 아동들의 경험을 연구한 현상학적 연구로 아동들의 생활세계의 체험을 아동의 입장에서 이해하고자 한 것이다. 아동학대는 저항할 수 없는 힘의 구조에서 받는 억압과 자유로운 발달환경의 박탈이다. 학대란 가장 친밀한 관계에서 경험한 매우 왜곡되고 부정적인 상호작용으로 아동에게 혼란스럽고 무질서한 내면세계를 만들어 놓았다. 학대받은 아동들은 그러나 탈출구가 없는 억압 속에서도 그들 나름대로 생존을 위한 최선의 전략을 구사하며 가족 지향적인 삶을 원하고 있다. 현상학적 반성을 통해 학대아동의 경험에 대한 8가지 본질적인 주제를 찾았고 이 주제들을 바탕으로 학대 경험의 의미를 살펴보았다. 이 주제들은 학대받은 아동을 위한 상담자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

Analysis of Consumer Satisfaction on Career Guidance and Psychological Counseling at a University

  • Purpose: The ultimate purpose of this study is to analyze this survey to understand the overall contents of college career guidance and psychological counseling, and to utilize it to improve the quality of learning and provide career guidance. Research design, data and methodology: The research period and survey subject are approximately one month from 2020.12.01(Tue) to 2021.01.03(Sun). Convenience sampling was conducted using a structured questionnaire composed of a 5-point Likert scale and 5 open-ended questions. As the analysis method, descriptive statistics such as reliability analysis and frequency analysis of Cronbach's α coefficient of internal consistency were mainly used. Data Analysis Statistical program was analyzed using SPSS 25 version. Results: The item with the highest score is that the counseling and counseling-related non-specialized programs offered by the Student Counseling Center are helpful for school life (3.56 points). Conversely, the lowest question is that seminars accompanied by priests are helpful for study (3.38 points). Conclusions: The average score of 5 questions in the career guidance and psychological counseling areas is 3.38 out of 5.

보육서비스 접근성이 이용자 만족도에 미치는 영향 연구 - 맞벌이 여부에 따른 차이 비교 (Study on the Effect of Accessibility of Child Care Services on User Satisfaction -Comparison between Dual-earner and Single-earner Familes)

  • 본 연구는 보육기관을 이용하는 영유아의 부모를 대상으로 보육서비스의 접근성의 하위영역을 구분하고, 접근성의 어떤 하위영역이 만족도에 영향을 미치는지 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 특히 맞벌이 여부에 따라 소득 및 돌봄의 차이를 보인다는 점에서, 맞벌이 집단과 외벌이 집단을 구분하여 각 집단별로 접근성이 만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 서울 및 경기 지역의 20-40대 기혼자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 최종적으로 영유아 부모인 267명의 자료를 분석에 활용하였다. 분석결과, 외벌이 집단은 이용시간 편의성과 지불가능성이, 맞벌이 집단은 정보접근용이성과 상호수용성이 만족도에 영향을 미쳤다. 즉, 외벌이 집단은 보육기관의 이용시간이 편리할수록, 서비스 비용부담이 적을수록, 맞벌이 집단은 보육기관에 대한 정보를 획득하는 것이 용이할수록, 보육기관의 종교적인 특성이 약할수록 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 바탕으로, 보육서비스 운영 시간에 대한 보다 탄력적 운영과 그에 따른 비용 부담의 차별화가 필요함을 제언하였다. 보육기관에 대한 정보의 투명성을 높이는 정책적 방법을 고안할 필요가 있음을 제시하였다.

한국의 노동시장 활성화 정책 특성과 취업 성과: 취업지원서비스와 맞춤형 사회서비스 중심 정책의 비교 (Analysis of Labor Market Activation Policy and Its Employment Outcomes: the Effects of Employment and Tailored Social Service Provision)

  • 이 글은 한국의 노동시장 활성화 정책의 특성을 분석하고 취업 성과의 측면에서 주요 정책을 비교하는데 그 목적이 있다. 글로벌 금융위기를 전후로 우리나라에서도 기존의 공공부조 수급자뿐만 아니라 저소득 근로자 집단과 청년 미취업자 등을 대상으로 개별 집단 상담과 사례관리를 통해 맞춤형 취업지원서비스와 사회서비스를 제공하는 활성화 정책이 본격적으로 시행되고 있다. 이러한 활성화 정책은 한편으로는 공공부조 수급에 대한 반대급부로서 프로그램 참여 의무 및 급여 수급권과의 연계를 강화하는 등 참여자에 대한 요구 강화 측면이 두드러지지만, 다른 한편으로는 맞춤형 사례관리를 통해 취업장애요인을 제거하고 일반 노동시장으로의 진입을 촉진하기 위해 여러 가지 서비스 수단을 활용하는 역량 강화 측면도 포함하고 있다. 따라서 활성화 프로그램의 특성이 취업성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 활성화 정책 프로그램 전달체계와 정책수단의 효과를 파악할 필요성이 제기된다. 본 논문에서는 취업지원서비스와 맞춤형 사회서비스 제공을 특징으로 하는 활성화 정책의 취업 성과를 분석하였다. 이를 통해 활성화 정책의 어떠한 프로그램 성격과 특징, 정책 수단이 공공부조 수급자와 저소득 근로자 집단의 노동시장 진입에 기여하는지 파악하였다. 더불어 기초생활보장제도 급여 수급자의 탈수급 결정 요인도 분석하였다. 회귀분석 결과에 따르면 취업지원 서비스를 집중적으로 제공하는 활성화 정책은 저소득 근로자 집단뿐만 아니라 자활 참여자 집단에 대해서도 취업을 촉진하는 데 기여하였다. 또한 취업의 질이라는 측면에서도 상대적으로 더 나은 성과를 보여주었다. 그러나 수급자의 탈수급을 유인하는데 있어서는 맞춤형 사회서비스를 집중적으로 제공하는 것이 더욱 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석결과는 활성화 정책의 프로그램 전달체계 및 서비스 수단의 개선 방안을 모색하는데 있어 중요한 이론적 정책적 함의를 갖는다.

의료보험 건강진단사업의 개선방안 (Reform Measures of Health Examination Program in Health Insurance Scheme)

  • This study is an effort to make policy suggestions by analysing the current health examination program as a benefit service provided by the national health insurance system, including health screening for the insured, screening of cancer and chronic diseases for their dependents. Analyses found some issues being gave attention to; 1) The insured under the community health insurance system do not get the health examination benefit. A program for them should be set to have equity in benefit services. 2) Low rates of using screen services compromise purpose and the efficiency the services have first intended to. An immediate attention should be made to increase low rate of use of screen test to detect chronic diseases in particular. 3) Selection of diseases and test items covered by health examination program does not reflect the need of the insured, but to reflect financial resources of the national health insurance system. 4) Lack of health screening facilities and their geographical maldistribution is observed, which with preference of a general hospital as a screening post by the insured may lead to unreliable test. 5) A follow-up system should have been developed for the suspected classified by test results of carrying chronic diseases. They should be cared for within the health examination program. Public health care systems incorporate such a system, along with caring for those who are in need of having a health counselling on preventive care. In conclusion, the national health insurance system should be a medical insurance of giving a higher priority on preventive care benefits, health examination program in particular. That could be done by making rearrangements of test items, screening methods and system, rationalizing current reimbursement system of service fee, increasing accessibility to and utilization of the services, and making an establishment of follow-up system.
