  • 최근 국내 건설공사에 있어서 공동주택이 차지하는 비율은 나날이 증가하고 있다. 건설공사에서 공기는 직접적으로 건설사업비에 영향을 미치기 때문에 매우 중요하다. 따라서 국내에서도 공기단축을 위해 많은 노력을 하고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 추세에 따라서 공기를 단축하기 위해서는 공기에 영향을 미치는 중요요인을 분석하고, 도출된 요인들을 효과적으로 평가하기 위한 방법이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 공동주택의 공기단축에 미치는 영향요인을 평가하는 방법으로 FMEA 기법을 제안하고자 한다.

채식 선택 속성에 따른 채식 시장세분화 연구 (A Study on Vegetarian Market Segmentation by Vegetarian Selection Attributes)

  • Consumption market research was conducted on gradually increasing vegetarians using various selection attributes. Factors were extracted to identify vegetarian selection attributes and to divide the study cohort into groups, continuous variables (health, animal welfare, eco-friendliness, religion, familiarity, convenience, stability, and cost) and categorical variables (age, marital status, vegetarian duration, and vegetarian frequency) were simultaneously subjected to two-step cluster analysis. Cluster 1 contained high proportions of 20-29 and 30-39 year-olds, which are MZ-generation age groups. A high proportion had a vegetarian duration of 1-3 years, and the popular reasons for vegetarian selection were animal welfare and eco-friendliness. Cluster 2 contained high proportions of 50-59 and 40-49 year-olds, and many in this cluster were married, and mean vegetarian duration was ≥15 years. In addition, significant differences were observed between Clusters 1 and 2 in terms of religion, health, familiarity, cost, stability, and convenience. This study should contribute significantly to predicting vegetarian consumers' selection decisions and consumption behaviors and provide reliable marketing data for foodservice companies that develop vegetarian foods.

  • During the construction project period, a lot of change orders happen in the design and construction stage Especially, The change order during construction stage causes the huge construction cost increase and duration delay. Accordingly, research on the change order of the construction stage is being progressed relatively active in the design stage, but the design changes are rarely made. In the design stage, the owner has to pay a design addition cost when change order due to the demands of owner happens. However Korea has not the specific standard about design additional cost in design stage. Therefore, this study analyzes problems of design additional cost estimation methods through the case study, and then indicates the method that the ratio distributes to details dividing design tasks and the method of the PM(Project Management). Eventually, this study expects to minimize claim related the design additional cost in design stage.

병원 약제행위의 원가구조 및 수가체계 개선방향 (Cost Structure of the Hospital Drug Services and Their Directions for Price System Improvement)

  • The price systems of the hospital drug services play key roles in the provision of quality services and the development of pharmacy service technologies. Under the premises, this study attempted to determine the costs of hospital drug service, to compare the costs calculated with the fees publicly fixed by the Government, and based on the results of the analysis, to propose directions for the improvement of the price systems. A Costing model for the study was developed based on the cost-fee relationship analysed of the Korean fee-for-service systems. Data on costs and workloads of the 25 hospitals were collected through survey forms designed for the costing' and analysis for the duration of 12 months of 1998. The results of the analysis show that a tremendous unbalance between cost and price levels of the drug services, and that overally the price level of the services is extremely low when compared to the costs of services. Based on these findings, this study suggests that unfairly high or low price level be corrected, and that service items newly developed and being practiced at tertiary hospitals, such as TDM and TPN consultation services, be compensated by fixing a proper level of price.

  • Naval ships are complex weapon systems which play the integrated performance by system integration of many kinds of weapon systems and their leading ships are usually not disposed after test and evaluation but militarised. Then, strict project management is required for naval ship building projects by identifying problems early and by taking prefer measures in time against unexpected situations encountered in the process of the projects. EVMS is a project management system which can manage the schedule and the budget of a project concurrently and estimate the project's time duration and the cost at project completion. In this paper, the applicability and usefulness of WMS is studied for a assumed navai ship building project, in the environment of monetary fluctuations such as price index, wage increase rate and exchange rate.

  • 공사에 소요되는 기간은 시설물의 품질과 비용에 직접적인 영향을 미치지만, 고등학교 시설공사의 경우 경험과 직관에 의거하여 공기를 산정하고 있어 공사수행과정에서 계약당사자 간에 분쟁이 많이 발생하고 있다. 본 논문은 고등학교 시설공사에 소요되는 기간의 산정에 영향을 미치는 다양한 요인을 분석하여 공기 산정기준을 제안하는 것으로, 인천지 역에서 최근에 개교한 고등학교의 실적자료를 수집하여 다중선형 회귀분석 하였다. 회귀분석 결과로 얻은 순 공사기간에 인천지 역의 기후특성을 고려하여 산정한 작업불가능기간을 더하여 총 공사기간을 산출 하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 공기 산정식은 공사발주 및 계약 시 계약공기를 정확하게 산정 하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다

선천성대사이상검사 사업의 비용편익 분석 (Cost-benefit Analysis of Massive Screening for Inborn Errors of Metabolism in Korea)

  • Objectives: Since 1991, nationwide massive neonatal screening program for phenylketonuria (PKU) and congenital hypothyroidism have been performed in Korea. As in many other countries, efficiency of this program has not been definitely concluded. For the purpose of evaluation of this program, from the perspective of efficiency, a cost-benefit analysis was carried out. Methods: Costs of the detection and the treatment program were compared with the projected benefit(avoided costs) that results from the prevention of the mental retardation associated with the disorders due to PKU and hypothyroidism. Costs and benefits were discounted at an annual rate of 5%, and duration of life-long labor was assumed to be 30 years. Cost and benefit were estimated based on the detection rates of one case of PKU per 5,572 and one case of congenital hypothyroidism per 32,554 babies screened during 1991-1997. Results: The benefit-cost ratio was 0.418. The sensitivity analysis for the discount rates and labor durations showed that most cost-benefit ratios were lower than one(1.0) except when discount rate was changed to 3% and detection rate to two- or threefold and/or labor duration to 40 years. Conclusion: The result of this study suggested that present program of mass screening for PKU and congenital hypothyroidism could not be justified in terms of efficiency. It doesn't coincide with the results of previous studies in major developed countries, presumably because of difference in detection rates and welfare cost for the disabled.

Industrialized Building Systems for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

  • Rapidly expanding population in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a massive impact to put pressure on the shortage of housing and existing infrastructure. With average population growth rate of 1,9% yearly, the population in Saudi Arabia is projected to increase from 31 million in 2015 to 37 million in 2025. According to the housing ministry, Saudi Arabia needs to provide 3.3 million units to meet the demand in 2025, which is about 300,000 unit a year. In the past 40 years, using the conventional construction method, the Saudi construction industry was only able to build about 150,000 units per year. To meet the demand gap for the housing shortage, a new approach and innovation in construction methods are needed. Industrialized construction as an approach in construction methods has been studied and implemented in some countries that experienced similar corncerns. Industrialized construction can be defined as the implementation of manufacturing methods to construction-related activities to improve quality, reduce cost and project duration. Compared to the conventional construction method, prefabrication as industrialized construction methods has reduced construction labor on-site by 9.5%, construction project duration by 20%, and construction waste by 56%. It improves the quality, durability and cost saving not only for construction project owners, but also construction contractors. This paper discusses the possibility of 'industrialization' of building system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a solution for the housing shortage. It is an initial part of a study aims to develop a framework to develop industrialized building system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The is paper based on extensive literature review and case studies.

  • Nowadays the Design-Build Delivery Method in public sector has been remarkably grown up in applying owing to its merits such as shortening construction duration. The Fast-Track is the wide-using method for accelerating schedule at Design-Build projects. But the public agency is in trouble to execute Fast-Track because of the lack of guideline for its process. As a result, in some cases applying Fast-Track methods, cost and construction duration are increased more than cases of non-Fast-Track projects. In this study, through the questionnaire surveys to professionals having actual implementation experiences as a construction manager, owner or general contractor, key success vehicles of Fast-Track are induced.

청주지역의 기상요소와 일사량과의 상관관계 분석 (Analysis of Relationship Between Meteorological Parameters and Solar Radiation at Cheongju)

  • Information of local solar radiation is essential for many field, including water resources management, crop yield estimation, crop growth model, solar energy systems and irrigation and drainage design. Unfortunately, solar radiation measurements are not easily available due to the cost and maintenance and calibration requirements of the measuring equipment and station. Therefore, it is important to elaborate methods to estimate the solar radiation based on readily available meteorological data. In this study, two empirical equations are employed to estimate daily solar radiation using Cheongju Regional Meteorological Office data. Two scenarios are considered: (a) sunshine duration data are available for a given location, or (b) only daily cloudiness index records exist. Simple linear regression with daily sunshine duration and cloudiness index as the dependent variable accounted for 91% and 80%, respectively of the variation of solar radiation(H) at 2011. Daily global solar radiation is highly correlated with sunshine duration. In order to indicate the performance of the models, the statistical test methods of the mean bias error(MBE), root mean square error(RMSE) and correlation coefficient(r) are used. Sunshine duration and cloudiness index can be easily and reliably measured and data are widely available.
