Two-Dimensional Qualitative Asset Analysis Method based on Business Process-Oriented Asset Evaluation

  • In this paper, we dealt with substantial asset analysis methodology applied to two-dimensional asset classification and qualitative evaluation method according to the business process. Most of the existent risk analysis methodology and tools presented classification by asset type and physical evaluation by a quantitative method. We focused our research on qualitative evaluation with 2-dimensional asset classification. It converts from quantitative asset value with purchase cost, recovery and exchange cost, etc. to qualitative evaluation considering specific factors related to the business process. In the first phase, we classified the IT assets into tangible and intangible assets, including human and information data asset, and evaluated their value. Then, we converted the quantitative asset value to the qualitative asset value using a conversion standard table. In the second phase, we reclassified the assets using 2-dimensional classification factors reflecting the business process, and applied weight to the first evaluation results. This method is to consider the organization characteristics, IT asset structure scheme and business process. Therefore, we can evaluate the concrete and substantial asset value corresponding to the organization business process, even if they are the same asset type.

  • A Neural network classification of human activity data is presented. The data acquisition system involves a tri-axial accelerometer in wireless sensor network environment. The wireless ad-hoc system has the advantage of small size, convenience for wearability and cost effectiveness. The system can further improve the range of user mobility with the inclusion of ad-hoc environment. The classification is based on the frequencies of the involved activities. The most significant Fast Fourier coefficients, of the acceleration of the body movement, are used for classification of the daily activities like, Rest walk and Run. A supervised learning approach is used. The work presents classification accuracy with the available fast batch training algorithms i.e. Levenberg-Marquardt and Resilient back propagation scheme is used for training and calculation of accuracy.

HPV Vaccination for Cervical Cancer Prevention is not Cost-Effective in Japan

  • Background: Our study objectives were to evaluate the medical economics of cervical cancer prevention and thereby contribute to cancer care policy decisions in Japan. Methods: Model creation: we created presence-absence models for prevention by designating human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination for primary prevention of cervical cancer. Cost classification and cost estimates: we divided the costs of cancer care into seven categories (prevention, mass-screening, curative treatment, palliative care, indirect, non-medical, and psychosocial cost) and estimated costs for each model. Cost-benefit analyses: we performed cost-benefit analyses for Japan as a whole. Results: HPV vaccination was estimated to cost $291.5 million, cervical cancer screening $76.0 million and curative treatment $12.0 million. The loss due to death was $251.0 million and the net benefit was -$128.5 million (negative). Conclusion: Cervical cancer prevention was not found to be cost-effective in Japan. While few cost-benefit analyses have been reported in the field of cancer care, these would be essential for Japanese policy determination.

중환자실에서의 K-DRG 분류와 개두술환자군의 간호시간과 간호원가연구 (A Study on the Classification of ICU Patients by K-DRG and the Nursing Care Hours and Costs of Craniotomy Patients)

  • This dissertation classifies sample patients by a measure of K-DRG to identify the most frequent group. and investigates the differences in the dependency of nursing by patient classification system in the SICU of Seoul National University Hospital in Korea. It also calculates the mean nursing care hours and costs per craniotomy patient, who is shown to be the most frequent patient group. The results of the research can be used as basic data for the development of relevant nursing cost system in the future. The results of the research are as follows: 1. Using data from 97 sample patients, as many as 26 groups are identified when the patients are classified by K-DRG. KDRG-001 (craniotomy) is found to be the most frequent group(43.30%). 2. The result from patient classification system grouping in craniotomy patients shows homogeneity in terms of dependency of nursing with 35 patients in the 4th group, 145 patients(74.36%) are in the 5th group. and 15 patients are in the 6th group among the total 195 sample patients. 3. The direct nursing care hours for the 4th, 5th, and 6th patient classification system groups are found to be 381 minuites. 483 minuites, and 519 minuites, respectively, which shows that the nursing care hours increases as the dependency of nursing is intensified. The indirect nursing care hours are found to be 454 minuites(7.57 hours). The total mean nursing care hours, which is the sum of the direct nursing care hours(467 min.: 7.78 hours) and the indirect nursing care hours (454 min.: 7.57 hours), is 921 minuites(15.35 hours) per patient a day. 4. The nursing care cost is calculated to be 123,297 won per patient a day. Considering the average duration in the ICU, we can find the total nursing care cost is 610,318 won.

Review of Domestic Sleep Industry Classification Criteria and Aanalysis of characteristics of related companies

  • After COVID-19, the number of people with sleep disorders around the world is increasing. In particular, in the flow of the 4th industrial revolution, the differentiation of types and characteristics of the sleep industry is accelerating. Therefore, in this study, the characteristics of each type of sleep-related industry were reclassified from an industrial point of view, and based on this, an attempt was made to review the classification system that can help companies develop sleep products and improve related national systems. Based on the 10th standard industry classification, we compared input cost, value, and usability and analyzed common characteristics, treatments, and preventive effects based on this. A comprehensive taxonomy using matrix analysis was reviewed. As a result, in terms of cost (A), the most common sleeping products are general mattresses and general bedding. It is an IOT device (auxiliary device), and the value aspect (B, B/D) included sleep cafe, bedding rental and management service, and sleep consulting. In terms of utility (A/B), a total of 6 product groups including sleep aids (health functional foods) belong to this category, and in terms of treatment (A/C), a total of 3 product groups including sleep clinics (medical services) belong to this category. As for the product group (A/D) with both properties, it was found that non-insurance sleep treatment medical devices, sleep-related over-the-counter drugs, and some sleep monitoring applications belong to this category. Ultimately, it was found that the sleep industry classification enables the most active product development and composition according to the relative relationship between cost and utility, and treatment and utility. appeared to be necessary.

  • With domestic construction projects becoming bigger, more specialized and more advanced, the construction industry is striving to improve quality and quantity, and is diversifying functions and shapes. Nevertheless, the process of a construction project causes problems when we estimate construction price, because the cost breakdown structures are different in each step. The primary aim of this study was to estimate building life cycle cost using the Delphi method. The cost breakdown structure for life cycle cost was classified into planning, design, construction, maintenance and waste disposal, and each detailed classification was determined by estimating life cycle cost. Moreover, the developed cost breakdown structure is verified by consulting with experts to secure objectivity and validity.

  • Planning/planning stage Construction cost prediction is very important. In particular, flexible thinking is required to predict the construction cost by reflecting rapid market changes and current conditions. Therefore, in this study, we tried to consider the process for calculating the construction cost of an apartment house in a more accurate planning/planning stage. First, cases were collected based on the classification system by construction type. Second, the construction cost was predicted using the case-based reasoning technique. Third, the composition ratio by construction type of the most similar case was applied to the derived construction cost. Finally, the construction cost was predicted based on practical corrections reflecting the market and field conditions.

VE제안의 가치향상 유형별 수치적 범위기준 제시 (Numerical Range Criteria for Classification of Value Engineering Proposals based on Value Improvement Types)

  • Since its introduction in Korea, design VE has widely been used as a means to enhance values in the construction industry. However, a greater emphasis is still placed on cost reduction in approach attitudes and performance evaluations on the implementation of design VE. In this regard, this study presented a performance evaluation method for cost, function, and value of VE proposals. Numerical criteria on the increase and decrease of cost and function that can classify the value enhancement type of VE proposals were proposed based on the performance evaluation method. It is expected that the use of numerical criteria for the type classification of VE proposal, and cost and performance evaluation method proposed in this study will make it possible to conduct a clear and more intuitive evaluation of VE proposal. However, it is appropriate to use the numerical criteria as a guideline to apply the new performance evaluation method for VE proposals. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a statistical analysis with a wider range of users after the repeated application of the findings of this study, and thus to carry out research for presenting the numerical criteria for various types of users.

건설 시공 계획 및 관리 업무의 적용을 위한 NOS 모델 구축 연구 (A Study on NOS Model System for The Construction Work Planing and Management)

  • 본 연구는 건설 시공 계획 및 관리 업무에 NOS를 적용하기 위하여 다음과 같은 제안을 과정을 통해서 새로운 NOS 모델을 제시하였다. 먼저, 건설공사의 특성을 반영한 시설 단위 - 구조 단위 - 시공 단위 - 자원 단위의 흐름으로 공사정보분류체계의 개념을 제시하였다. 이 체계를 근거로 네트워크의 구성하고, 성과측정관리기준선의 추이를 분석하는 기준계획시간(MT : Master Target)식과 집행실적을 분석해 주는 수정계획시간(WT : Work Target) 식을 제안하여 NOS 모델을 제시하기 위한 성과측정 관리 기준선의 수립방법을 제안하였다. 최종적으로 성과측정 집행 분석 방법의 이론적 검증을 통해서 확정계약과 실비정산보수가산방식에 적합한 NOS 적용 방안을 제시하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는, 정성적 데이타를 체계적으로 이용할 수 있는, 지시크리깅(indicator kriging) 과 오차에 대응하는 비용(cost of errors)에 근거한 암반분류 방법의 응용예에 관해 연구하였다. 특히, 암반의 이분적 분류(binary classification)가 고려되었으며, 이를 위해서, 간편화된 암반 평가 시스템 (rock mass rating system, RMR)이 사용되었다. 또한, 대부분의 주관성은 손실함 수를 작성할 때 발생하기 때문에, 손실함수의 민감도 분석(sensitivity analysis)이 수행되었다. 본 연구를 통해, 오차에 대응하는 비용의 기대값이 암반조사를 위한 시추 방법이 잘 계획되었는지에 관한 평가척도로 이용될 수 있음을 알았다. 오차에 대응하는 비용의 기대값과 그 데이타를 샘플링 하는데 드는 비용을 감안할 때, 정성적 데이타가 정량적 데이타보다 경제적일 경우도 있으며, 이는 주위 지반상태와 시추에 드는 비용을 잘 고려하여 결정되어야 한다. 응용예를 통해서 제시된 방법은 보다 체계적인 암반 조사를 위해 크게 기여할 것으로 사료된다.
