광고매체와 패션브랜드의 이미지 일치성에 따른 광고효과 연구: 버스승차대의 의류, 화장품 쉘터광고를 중심으로 (Advertising Effect of Advertising Channels and Image Congruence in fashion Brand : Fashion & Cosmetics of Bus Stop Shelter Advertisement)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate advertisement effect of bus shelter, according to the congruency between advertising medium and the fashion brand image, and products. Four types of questionnaire are made through pretest. 273 female college students participated in the study. The results were as follows. First, high level of the congruency between advertising medium and the image of brands had effect on the advertisement effect. Second, there were not significant differences in the advertisement attitude and purchasing intention between clothing and cosmetics. However, clothing showed significant differences in the brand attitude than cosmetics did. Finally, interaction affects were not found in the congruency of image and product types. Based on these results, fashion advertisement strategies would be suggested.

모 브랜드와 확장된 브랜드의 브랜드 이미지, 광고 이미지 일치도에 따른 브랜드 태도 (How consistency of brand image and advertising image for parent and extended brands affects brand attitude)

  • This study investigated how consumers perceive brand image, the consistency between the images of parent brands and extended brands, the consistency of their advertising images, the differences between brand image and advertising image, and how consumers' brand attitudes change based on those differences. An online survey was administered to women in their 20s and 30s who often use cosmetics and are interested in brands. The brands considered in this research were Chanel, Dior, Armani, and Anna Sui, which have extended brands in the clothing and cosmetics areas. In terms of consumers' perception of brand image, it was found that clothing and cosmetic brands were perceived similarly. In addition, significant differences were found in consumers' preferences and purchase intentions of clothing and cosmetic brands, and those whose perceptions of brand image did not change or increased after looking at advertising images had more positive brand attitudes than the group of people who had higher perception of brand image before looking at advertising images. Therefore, in terms of brand extension, it was revealed that the image of a parent brand affected an extended brand, and that the higher was consumers' recognition of brand image through advertising, the more positive was their attitude toward the brand.

The Distribution of Cosmetics Products, Brand Trust and Promotion Impact on Purchase Decision during Live Streaming

  • Purpose: Shopee, Indonesia's most frequently visited marketplace in November 2023, had 427.2 million visits. Supported by the live streaming feature, Shopee has become the most widely used online shopping platform, with an 83.4% market share in 2022. Several factors, such as brand trust and promotions, have significantly influenced Shopee's dominance and consumer purchasing decisions. This research aims to investigate the effect of cosmetic product distribution, brand trust, and promotions on purchasing decisions, considering gender and age as control variables. Research design, data and methodology: A quantitative approach using a survey research method was employed with a sample of 150 respondents, who were followers of the Shopee ESQA Cosmetics account, obtained through the Yamane formula. Data was collected via an online questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this study was PLS-SEM with Smart PLS software. The results of this research indicate a significant effect of the distribution of cosmetics products, brand trust, promotions, gender, and age as control variables on the purchase decision variable. Conclusions: The distribution of cosmetic products, brand trust and promotions have a positive and significant impact on purchase decisions during live streaming on Shopee, and control variables (gender and age 36-45) have a positive and significant influence on purchase decisions.

화장품 구매시 소비자의 자아이미지와 광고이미지의 일치감이 광고태도 및 브랜드태도에 미치는 영향 -화장품 광고의 제품유형과 메시지유형 조절효과를 중심으로- (The Congruence between the Self-Image and Advertising Image of Consumers on Advertising Attitude and Brand Attitude -The Moderating Roles of Product Type and Message Type on Cosmetics Advertising-)

  • Consumers focus on information about the symbolic meaning of a product for highly involved and emotional products (such as cosmetic products). This study examines the effectiveness of the congruence between cosmetics advertising image and self-image on consumer attitudes. In addition, this study examines two additional moderating effects, which are 'product type' and 'message type'. For the experiment, four advertizing type factorial designs were performed. A total of 320 undergraduate female students in Korea participated in the experiment. This study captured the subjective judgments of consumers on these three comparisons in terms of advertizing attitude, brand attitude, and purchase intention. The results are as follows: First, the greater the self-congruity on cosmetic advertising, then the greater the effectiveness on advertizing attitude. Second, the increased self-congruity on cosmetic advertising did not create greater effectiveness on brand attitude. Third, increased advertizing attitudes on the congruence between cosmetics advertising image and self-image increased the effectiveness on brand attitude. Fourth, increased advertizing attitudes on the congruence between cosmetics advertising image and self-image improved the effectiveness on purchase intention. Fifth, the greater the brand attitude (on the congruence between the cosmetics advertising image and the self-image produced)increased the effectiveness for purchase intention. The results show a significant moderating role of the product type. Marketers can use the results of this study to understand the market of cosmetic products for promotion.

브랜드 이미지와 모델이미지 및 광고카피의 맥락이 화장품 광고효과에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Brand Image, Model Image and Context of Advertising Copy on Cosmetic Advertising)

  • 본 연구는 브랜드 이미지와 모델 이미지 일치여부에 따른 화장품 광고효과와 브랜드 이미지와 광고 카피 간을 조화롭게 지각하느냐 여부에 따른 화장품 광고효과를 알아봄으로써, 화장품 광고에서 맥락효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 브랜드 가치유형(3)×광고카피유형(3) 요인설계를 이용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 화장품 브랜드 이미지와 모델 이미지의 일치여부에 따른 광고효과를 확인한 결과, 모델의 이미지와 브랜드의 이미지가 일치할 때 광고태도와 구매의도가 모두 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 화장품 브랜드 이미지와 카피유형의 일치도 지각여부에 따라 광고효과에서 차이가 있는 가를 확인하였다. 그 결과 화장품 브랜드 이미지와 카피유형이 일치한다고 지각하는 소비자들이 불일치한다고 지각하는 소비자에 비해 광고태도와 구매의도가 모두 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 향후 화장품 광고 카피 전략을 세울 때맥락효과를 접목하여 카피전략을 세워야 하는가에 대한 타당성을 제공해 줄 것으로 기대된다.

해외 패션 고급품 원 상표와 확장 상표의 이미지와 선호도 (The Difference between Original Brands and Extended Brands in Images and Preference of Overseas Fashion Luxury Goods)

  • The purpose of this study is to make clear the difference between Original brands and extended brands in images and preference of overseas fashion luxury goods. The questionaries were given to female residents in the ages of 20s'$\sim$40s' in Seoul and Kyung-gi province in October 2007. The collected data were analyzed by using SPSS 12.0 software such as paired t-test, ANOVA, Duncan test. The results of this study is as follows; 1. It was found that both original brand and brand extension in images were regarded as the most 'Reputed' image. 2. It was found that original brand reflected more brand images such as 'Luxurious', Conspicuous', 'Reputed' and so on than brand extension. 3. It was found that customers tended to prefer Chanel original brand, fashion goods to Chanel brand extension, cosmetics. On the other hand, it was found that customers tended to prefer Christian Dior brand extension, cosmetics to Christian Dior Original brand, fashion goods.

중국 관광객의 한국 화장품 점포속성 평가가 브랜드 체험을 통하여 만족과 브랜드 충성도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Evaluation of Chinese Tourists in regards to Korean Cosmetic Store Attributes on Satisfaction and Brand Loyalty based upon Brand Experience)

  • This study examines the attributes of cosmetic stores that Chinese tourists considered when purchasing cosmetics in Korea and the effect of the evaluation of attributes in regards to satisfaction and brand loyalty based upon brand experience. The survey was performed from January 1-14 in 2014 through a Chinese professional online survey channel-www.sojump.com. A total of 338 data from female and male respondents who visited Korea and purchased Korea brand's cosmetics were analyzed by SPSS and AMOS. The results were as follows. Frist, cosmetic store attributes were composed of three factors such as physical environment and salespersons, price and promotion, service. Second, all the factors had a positive influence on brand experience. Among them, the influence of physical environment and salespersons were the highest. Third, brand experience influenced satisfaction and satisfaction also had positive influence on brand loyalty. The results above indicate that providing various experiences that appeal to customers is as important as improving product quality when maintaining long-term customer relationships and loyalty.

화장품 브랜드 매장 체험특성, 가치와 기대, 구매의도의 구조적 관계에 관한 연구 -성별의 조절효과를 중심으로- (A Study on the Structural Relationship of Experience Characteristics, Value and Expectations, Purchase Intention in Cosmetic Brand Store -Focusing on the Moderating Effects of Gender-)

  • 본 연구에서는 화장품 브랜드 매장의 체험특성이 브랜드 가치와 매장 내 제품 기대를 통해 구매의도에 주는 영향을 확인하고자 하였다. 또한 성별의 조절효과를 밝힘으로써 화장품 브랜드 매장의 체험에 관한 이론적 연구를 보완하고 실무적 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 먼저, 매장 내 체험특성으로서 교육적 체험, 심미적 체험, 유희적 체험을 제시하였으며, 이러한 체험특성들이 브랜드 가치와 매장 내 제품에 대한 기대에 주는 영향, 브랜드 가치와 기대가 매장 내 제품에 대한 구매의도에 주는 영향을 가정하였다. 화장품 브랜드 매장 방문 경험이 있는 소비자들을 대상으로 279부의 데이터를 수집하였고, 이를 구조방정식 분석에 이용하였다. 검증결과, 체험특성 모두 브랜드 가치와 매장 내 제품 기대에 긍정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났고, 브랜드 가치는 기대에 긍정적 영향을, 그리고 브랜드 가치와 매장내 제품 기대는 매장 내 제품 구매의도에 긍정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 조절효과 검증에서는 유희적 체험이 브랜드 가치에 주는 영향이 남성에게서 더 큰 것으로 나타났고, 교육적 체험과 심미적 체험이 매장 내 제품 기대에 주는 영향은 여성에게서 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 화장품 브랜드 매장 체험연구의 이론적 확장에 기여하고 있으며, 화장품 매장의 체험마케팅에 있어 전략적 시사점을 제공하고 있다.

The Effect of Shopping Orientation on Cosmetic Attribute Evaluation, Purchase Motivation, and Re-purchase Intention

  • The Purpose of the current study is to investigate the differences in cosmetics attribute evaluation, purchase motivation, and brand re-purchase intention with respect to shopping orientations of Korean female university students. Questionnaires were distributed to 250 female students at Kyungpook National University and 220 completed questionnaires were analyzed. The results were as follows. First, shopping orientations and cosmetics attribute evaluation each generated four factor solutions, whereas cosmetics purchase motivations produced three factors. Second, three consumer groups - Efficiency Shopper Group, Indifference Shopper Group Ambivalence Shopper Group - with different shopping orientations were identified. Third, the study found significant differences in consumers' attribute evaluation such as function and price among the groups. The study also revealed a significant difference in contingent purchase motivations and brand re-purchase intention among the groups. From these results, we could identify that cosmetics re-purchase intention was significantly different among three different groups with different shopping orientations. Furthermore, consumer classification according to shopping orientations in cosmetics product purchase can be used by cosmetics marketers and managers to establish product plan and marketing strategy development. Additionally, the current study has originality and value that the relationship between shopping orientation and re-purchase intention has not been studied very much in the cosmetics product domain.

수입화장품의 마케팅전략에 관한 연구 (A Study on Marketing Strategy of Domestic Cosmetics)

  • 본 논문은 국내화장품 산업의 현황과 문제점을 살펴보고, 국내에 진출한 수입화장품의 마케팅전략을 마케팅 믹스전략의 구성요소인 4P를 중심으로 분석하고, 그에 따른 소비자 구매행동에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아봄으로써 21세기 국내 경제를 이끌어갈 산업의 하나로 발전하기 위한 방향과 전략을 연구 분석하였다 연구의 결과는 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. 국내화장품 산업의 현황과 문제점을 살펴본 결과 화장품 산업은 전형적인 브랜드 산업으로 국내화장품은 브랜드력의 부족이 문제점으로 대두되고 있었다. 마케팅의 구성요소인 4P를 중심으로 국내 진출한 수입화장품의 마케팅전략에 관한 분석은 국내화장품 기술개발 수준이 선진국 대열에 진출할 만큼 발전함에 파라 소비자의 요구를 살펴보면 점차 다양한 심층화가 진행됨을 알 수 있었다. 즉 브랜드는 제품에 대한 수많은 정보 속에서 유일하게 신뢰할 수 있는 판단 기준이 되는 만큼 소비자의 요구 변화를 인지한 브랜드 마케팅 수립과 브랜드 마케팅전략을 효과적으로 전개할 수 있는 다양한 유통망 형성이 시급함을 알 수 있었다.
