화장에 관한 기존연구 유형의 분석 (Analysis of Previous Make-up Study)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the previous make-up studies. A number of publications and journals were reviewed and analyzed carefully. The results of review and analysis were as follows: There were many different subjects in make-up studies and They can be divided into ten types : cosmetics purchase behavior, change of make-up culture and comparison, make-up trend by era, cosmetics industry's standing of today and strategy, art trend in make-up, brand preference of cosmetics, make up attitude, recognition about imported cosmetics and purchase behavior, color preference of cosmetics, the relationship between self-concept and make-up. In general, the cosmetic purchase behavior studies are conducted most actively. According to result that analyze existent study, special duality of cosmetics purchase action appears very variously according to standard of classification of study target and study target. But, study target and method of study are not various, and purchase behavior study collected with make-un and clothes is yew lacking. Therefore, in this study, wished to discover problem of virtue study because analyzes studies about previous make-up and present forward study direction.

화장품 방문판매직 취업여성의 필요능력과 현재능력에 관한 연구 (Door-to-Door Cosmetic Saleswomen′s Vocational Ability Expectations and Self-Evaluation on Aptitudes)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the expectation of vocational abilities and the level of the existing abilities of the door-to-door saleswomen in the cosmetic industry, in order to provide baseline information that can be used to improve sales ability. The data were collected from 1,168 respondents to a questionnaire. Major findings were as follows: 1. The most commonly expected aptitude for the door-to-door salesperson was the ability 'to gain the confidence from customers'. The other important aptitudes were 'good attitudes', 'product information' and 'pleasant personality and patience'. 2. The overall level of the abilities according to their self-evaluation when compared with the level of expected abilities was 64.9 %. The item that received the lowest self-evaluation was 'ability in developing new market and audience'. 3. Vocational ability expectation was affected most strongly by education level. The variables that affected self-evaluation were career paths, education level, income, sales volume and position.

실크 세리신의 구조와 성질에 대한 최근 연구동향 (Recent research trend in the structure and properties of silk sericin)

  • Sericin has been removed in textile industry to improve the luster and hand of silk textile. Therefore, the sericin was considered as useless material. However, recently sericin has attracted researcher's attention since unique properties of sericin including high water retention, UV protection, and wound healing effect were reported. In spite of the useful properties of sericin as biomedical and cosmetic materials, its poor mechanical properties have restricted its industrial use in biomedical and cosmetic fields. To improve the mechanical properties, various sericins were prepared by different conditions, and the effects of the preparation condition on the structure and properties of sericin were examined. In this review paper, research trend in the structure and properties of sericin prepared with different conditions were intensively introduced.

Nutritional value and antioxidant potential of lemon seed and sprout

  • High amounts of lemon seeds are discarded as by-products of processing industries. It is important to find some measures, whereby they could be used in value-added ways. Although few studies have been conducted on lemon seed oils, no study has been conducted on the nutrient content of lemon seed sprouts. The objective of this study was to investigate the nutritional value and antioxidant potential of lemon seeds and sprouts. The 1,1-diphenly-2-picrylhydrazyl radical-scavenging potential, total polyphenol, and total free amino acid content were higher in the sprouts than in the seeds. Similarly, the content of such mineral elements as Fe, Na, and Zn, increased with germination. However, salicylic acid and total mineral content were lower in the sprouts than in the seeds. The results indicate that lemon seeds and sprouts could be regarded as high-value materials in food and cosmetic industries.

  • Trimethylglycine, commonly named betaine, is the most simple amphoteric molecule. It is completely vegetal (1,2), as it is produced in the sugar industry by industrial chromatography of molasses. While abundantly used in foods and diet supplements, many interesting applications in cosmetics have recently been investigated, like its capability to increase the volume and stability of foams in surfactant solutions. For its special chemical structure (it is the internal salt of a weak acid and a strong alkali) trimethylglycine is a solvent and buffering agent for strong acids and Lewis' acids. It allows to improve the efficiency of $\alpha$- and $\beta$-hydroxy acids in increasing the physiological rate of epidermal cell renewal, while keeping a low skin-irritation level. In oral care cosmetics, it acts as a mucous membrane protectant (3). For its special water co-ordination capability, its solubilising power, polymer swelling capability, after-feel improvement in hair products, skin moisturization and elasticity enhancing properties, trimethylglycine provides unusual characteristics to many products intended for skin maintenance (4).(omitted)

한국화장품 구매 선호도에 관한 연구 - 국내 관광객을 중심으로 - (Study on Korea cosmetics purchasing preferences - Focusing on domestic tourists -)

  • The most rapidly growing manufacturing could be cosmetics industries due to this phenomenon. In this study, the cosmetic distribution structure not to mention Korea, Asia's largest market, China and Japan are based on references. Purpose of study is to provide a basis for marketing strategy through the research process and results. Korea cosmetics market has been exerting a tremendous power of LG Household & Health and Amore Pacific as a major company. Cosmetics industry is rapidly booming around the mid-priced brand through internet shopping, TV shopping, and road shops. Cosmetics preferences were analyzed targeted at tourists by distributing questionnaire to 1500 in road shop and Myeong-dong from September 14 to October 13, 2013. The answers for the questions of the most awareness cosmetic brands in Korea are appeared in order of Laneige, Innisfree, The Face Shop. The satisfaction of the use of Korea cosmetic are 61.85% and the reasons are that in a variety of color cosmetics are 32.58%, the reaction of around that you look prettier are 29.34%. Therefore purchasing products are 49.14% of the color cosmetics and 24.93% of the functional products. Within the result of the survey, although the quality versus the price for the Korean cosmetic brands has been competitive advantage over yet from the advertising of Korea wave stars, the foreign purchasers have been willing to buy the color cosmetics and high-end performance products being the research and development of the continuously higher quality of the performance if the preceding even if being more expensive purchase price.

고급 화장품 소재 개발을 위한 마이크로플루딕스 기술의 잠재적 응용성 (A Potential Applicability of Microfluidic Techniques for Fabricating Advanced Cosmetic Materials)

  • 본 총설에서는 마이크로플루딕스 기술에 대한 기초연구를 소개하고, 이 기술을 통하여 화장품산업분야에서 응용성이 큰 동공구조체, 응답성 소재, 캡슐 소재, 다층 콜로이드 구조체 등과 같은 신소재의 합성이 가능함을 기술한다. 마이크로플루딕스 기술이 적용되어 개발된 기능성 신소재들은 그 크기와 내부 모폴로지를 정확하게 피코리터 수준에서 조절할 수 있다. 또한, 소재의 화학조성을 다양하게 임의 조절할 수 있고, 고차 층구조를 갖는 콜로이드 입자나 캡슐의 개발까지도 가능하여 그 응용성은 무궁무진하다고 할 수 있다. 기본적으로 약물전달계, 화학물 분리공정, 바이오센서, 애튜에이터 등의 응용연구에 매우 유용하게 활용될 수 있다. 화장품산업에서도 마이크로플루딕스 기술을 이용하여 고기능성 신소재 개발이나 신유형 화장품 개발이 가능할 것으로 기대되어 더욱 복합적인 연구개발이 진행되어야 할 것이다.

Anti-oxidant and Anti-pollution Composition Containing the Extract of Nypa fruticans Wurmb, Saussurea neoserrata, Codium fragile and Enteromorpha compressa

  • Long-term exposure to environmental pollutants can impair the human skin's barrier function and promote skin aging mechanisms. The visible consequences of these effects are dryness, wrinkles, black spots and worsening skin sensitivity. As awareness of the effects of environmental stressors on the skin has recently increased, consumers' demand for cosmetics that can provide anti-pollution effects is increasing. In this study, the possibility of anti-pollution cosmetic material was investigated by measuring the inhibitory effect of free radicals using a mixture of Nypa fruticans Wurmb (NF), Saussurea neoserrata (SN), Codium fragile (CF) and Enteromorpha compressa (EC), which has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects against irritation caused by dust. Combining the experimental results of a mixture of NF, SN, CF and EC by induction of fine dust stimulation, inhibition of inflammatory factors (PGE2) and intracellular free radicals (ROS) by inhibiting effects were significant, indicating the possibility of use as anti-pollution cosmetics. The most plants used as sources of anti-pollution cosmetic ingredients contain antioxidants as active substances. In our highly industrialized and chemically polluted world, it is not surprising that most plants used as sources of anti-pollution cosmetic ingredients contain antioxidants as active substances. Considering our results, it can be suggested that this anti-pollutant consisting of NF, SN, CF and EC may be a good ingredient for skincare products for the cosmetic industry due to their antioxidant properties, which may especially alter skin aging.

디올 패션이 향장미용에 미친 영향에 관한 연구 (The Influence of Christian Dior on Fashion, Clothing, and Cosmetic Trends)

  • This study focuses on three points. First, how designers develop clothing and cosmetic culture (which reflect time and culture) into other fashion products in order to verify that attire and makeup can be the objects of aesthetics in addition to functionality. Second, why the fashion design of Christian Dior has been continuously popular for women of all ages and countries in the development of fashion, attire, and makeup. Third, this study analyzes how the aesthetical characteristics of the fashion of Christian Dior are reflected in clothing and cosmetic culture in order to clarify the brand outlook on attire and makeup as a source of France's luxury fashion industry. The philosophical characteristics of Dior's fashion were studied based on existing literature. First, her childhood background (that became the motif of Dior's design) and the philosophical ideology of fashion design, perfume, and beauty were the focus of this study. Second, this study examined how consciousness on beauty expressed in hairstyle, perfume, and cosmetics is expressed in connection with clothing. Third, the background with which Dior's fashion and perfume business became successful is examined in addition the necessity of the image strategy for success in the cosmetics market was studied. Domestic and international books on clothing and cosmetics, preceding studies, the internet, and related magazines are utilized to consider the cosmetics and beauty fashion of Dior. The results of this study show how Korean fashion and cosmetic culture can further globalize. This study encompasses the period of 1905 when Christian Dior was born until 1957 when he died of a heart attack; it also deals with well-known designers of the Christian Dior House from Yves Saint Laurent of 1957 to John Galliano of the present.

화장품 시장 유통망을 위한 e비즈니스 포탈 시스템 (eBusiness Portal System for Cosmetic Market Distribution)

  • 최근 국내외 경제 위기와 더불어 인터넷을 기반으로 하는 인터넷 쇼핑몰 등의 신종 유통 업태의 출현과 외국 화장품 회사의 공격적인 국내시장 진입 등으로 인하여 제조사, 대리점, 그리고 화장품 시판 전문점을 중심으로 형성되어있는 화장품 시판 시장이 매우 큰 어려움에 처해있다. 이 논문에서는 지금의 화장품 시판 시장의 위기를 극복할 수 있는 하나의 대안으로써 화장품 유통 포탈인 COSPO 시스템을 제안한다. COSPO는 화장품 제조사, 제조사의 대리점, 그리고 화장품 전문점들간의 유통 관련 포탈 시스템으로서 다음과 같은 세 가지 기능을 보유한다. 첫째, COSPO는 화장품 제조사와 대리점, 그리고 시판점간의 유통 업무를 자동화해준다. 둘째, 화장품 시판 유통 주체간의 커뮤니케이션 기능을 제공한다. 마지막으로 COSPO는 유통점간의 업무 자동화를 통해 발생된 고객 및 상품 정보에 대한 공유를 통해 매출과 이익의 증대를 도모한다. 본 논문에서는 하나의 제조회사의 시판 유통망을 지원하는 프로토타입을 구축하였으며 이는 궁극적으로 모든 화장품 회사의 유통 채널을 포함할 수 있도록 확대되어야 할 것이다. COSPO는 화장품 제조사, 대리점, 시판 전문점, 그리고 고객 등의 각 주체에게 이익의 증가와 더불어 새로운 경제 구조와 신 시장에서 한국 화장품 산업의 유통 현대화에 크게 기여할 것이다.
