COMPARISON OF MIRROR FUNCTORS OF ELLIPTIC CURVES VIA LG/CY CORRESPONDENCE

  • Polishchuk-Zaslow explained the homological mirror symmetry between Fukaya category of symplectic torus and the derived category of coherent sheaves of elliptic curves via Lagrangian torus fibration. Recently, Cho-Hong-Lau found another proof of homological mirror symmetry using localized mirror functor, whose target category is given by graded matrix factorizations. We find an explicit relation between these two approaches.

  • We exhibit a one-to-one correspondence between 3-colored graphs and subarrangements of certain hyperplane arrangements denoted ${\mathcal{J}}_n$, $n{\in}{\mathbb{N}}$. We define the notion of centrality of 3-colored graphs, which corresponds to the centrality of hyperplane arrangements. Via the correspondence, the characteristic polynomial ${\chi}{\mathcal{J}}_n$ of ${\mathcal{J}}_n$ can be expressed in terms of the number of central 3-colored graphs, and we compute ${\chi}{\mathcal{J}}_n$ for n = 2, 3.

  • The headline of advertisements holds the important position in advertisement recognition and receptivity. In this paper, we classified the headlines as several types with measuring the response effects for purpose of understanding the customer's behavior. Also we conducted the decision tree analysis and correspondence analysis. The decision tree shows the difference between responders and non-responders, and the correspondence analysis shows the relationship between the sales and the customer's demographic information.

  • Some multivariate analyses provide configurations for variables or objects in low dimensional space because we can see easily their relation. In particular, in simple correspondence analysis(SCA), we can obtain the various configurations which are called SCA Maps based on the algebraic algorithms. Moreover, it often occur the variability among them. Therefore, in this study, we will give a comparison of variability of SCA maps using the procrustes analysis which is a technique of comparing configurations in multidimensional scaling.

  • In this paper, we propose a new approach of solving the stereopsis problem with a discrete-time cellular neural network(DTCNN) where each node has connections only with its local neithbors. Because the matching process of stereo correspondence depends on its geometrically local characteristics, the DTCNN is suitable for the stereo correspondence. Moreover, it can be easily implemented in VLSI. Therefore, we employed a two-layer DTCNN with dual templates, which are determined with the back propagation learning rule. Based on evaluation of the proposed approach for several random-dot stereograms, its performance is better than that of the Marr-Poggio algorithm.
