  • Transmission control protocol(TCP) is protocol used in internet. TCP is seldom transmission error and is protocol based on wire environment. TCP uses 3 way handshake ways, data transmission control through windows size, data transmission control through reception confirmation, sliding window for packet delivery. In this study, designed TCP packet ion module for analyze the TCP segments & correct information about TCP. TCP capture in internet using designed TCP module and analysed TCP segments composition. Through this, could analyze the correct information of protocol in network.

  • In this paper, we tried to develop a vowel training assistant method using vowel formant statistics. Formant statistics were obtained from PBW set consists of 452 words from 8 persons. Then, we calculated distance from input formants to each center of vowel formant space. Based on the distance, direct ions to correct the speaker's manner of articulation, i .e. position of jaw and tongue.

  • When we select the t best out of k populations in the indifference zone formulation, a lower confidence bound on the probability of a correct selection is derived for families with monotone likelihood ratio. The result is applied to the normal means problem when the variance is common, and to the normal variances problem. Tables to implement the confidence bound for the normal variances problem are provided.

  • In this paper we consider the asymptotic mean squared error of positive part James-Stein estimators. In the normal-normal example, estimators of the mean squared error of these estimators are provided which are correct asymptotically up to O($m^{-l}$). Asymptotic estimators of the MSE's which correct up to O($m^{-l}$) are also provide. Here, m denotes the number of strata. A simulation study is undertaken to evaluate the performance of these estimators.

  • Often the accuracy is not adequate as a performance measure of classifiers when costs are different for different prediction errors. ROC and cost graphs can be used in such case to compare and identify cost-sensitive classifiers. We extend ROC and cost graphs so that they can be used when more general cost matrix is given, where not only misclassifications but correct classifications also incur penalties.

  • In the vibration analysis of structure in fluid such as ships and offshore structures, the hydrodynamic added mass considerably affects the result of analysis. Therefore correct evaluation of the hydrodynamic added mass effect is required for an accurate analysis. But the correct evaluation of the effect is not simple because the added mass varies with the mode shape of vibration as well as the configuration of the structure. The universal method employed to evaluate added mass in ship hull vibration is Lewis's method via the introduction of 3 dimensional correction factor. But this conventional method is valid only for beam-like vibration.

  • In this paper, ultrasonic range finding module for the self-contained robot, INHAE-1, is presented. This system is processed, using Z-80 microprocessor, a much of information on the surrounding condition in real time and is realted a sensor for many side data acqusition with a stepping motor. Also this system can obtain the more correct edge of the obstacle using the standard deviation of the least-square method. In this experiment, it gives more correct information to mobile robot of the blind guidance and improves the orientation of the robot path.

  • Generally, two methods can be used to correct the undesirable magnetic field of MRI. One is active shimming method and the other is passive shimming. Passive shimming method uses many magnetized shims to correct the field. And it involves hardwared for supporting shim trays and a software to calculate a field map and optimaze the locations of the shims[1]. The software is the most important part of the passive shimming system. We made a prototype of the software and tested it in a virtual situation.

  • This paper provides a method of obtaining a lower bound on the probability of correct selection for a two-stage selection procedure. The resulting lower bound sharpens that by Tamhane and Bechhofer (1979) for the normal means problem with a common known variance. The design constants associated with the lower bound are computed and the results of the performance comparisons are given.

  • We explore the structure and usefulness of CERES plot as a basic tool for dealing with curvature as a function of the new predictor in nonlinear regression. If a predictor has a nonlinear effect and there are nonlinear relationships among the predictors the partial residual plot and augmented partial residual plot are not able to display the correct functional form of the predictor. Unlike these plots the CERES plot can show the correct from. In situations where nonlinearity exists in two predictors we extend the idea of CERES plot to three dimensions, This is illustrated by simulated data.
