This study was performed to investigate the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity on corporate image and repurchase intention (pre and post measure) after the news of food incident. A questionnaire survey was carried out for 235 college students in Seoul, Korea. The participants were given an instruction with CSR activity of company in food industry and completed the survey. We collected the survey and did the statistical analysis by SPSS. The result of this study was as follows: Significant differences (p < 0.05) were found between the two groups, one was aware of corporation's CSR activity and the other was not. The ranges of score of each question on corporate images after and before providing CSR information were 3.21-3.94 and 3.89-4.62, respectively. Also, the ranges of score of each question on repurchase intention after and before providing CSR information were 3.11-4.64 and 3.60-4.67, respectively. Thus, the result confirms that the previous studies' conclusion which explains CSR can shield consumers' negative attitude toward the company. The finding of this study emphasizes the importance of CSR activity to the companies in food industry and the need for making public awareness of CSR activity.

In today's fast-paced capitalistic society, a primary concern is whether to invest capital in any way to increase profits. In recent years, many companies have emphasized ethics and practiced corporate social responsibility activities. These activities are not only required to have at the end of the company. Bringing the ultimate goal of profit maximization is one way to contribute to the development of society and the economy. Investors are aware of corporate social responsibility activities and have begun to reflect this in their investments. We studied the behavior of a newly incorporated company's stock price on the KRX SRI Index using a scale that indicates the level of social responsibility for companies in the domestic stock market. Socially responsible investment involves an excellent company that looks out and looks for additional effects on the stock price of imports and improves the reliability of investors through an event study. The results show that the company we examined has a positive impact on the market. This study confirms the hypothesis that additional stock market reaction will occur when superior companies are newly incorporated in the KRX SRI Index and gain investors' trust. The results demonstrate that becoming a newly incorporated corporation in the KRX SRI Index is positive information to investors.
Purpose - The purpose of this study was to establish self sustainable win-win growth model for Korea franchise corporate sustainability and to suggest theoretical and practical implications for franchise management. Research design, data, and methodology - This study is based on literature review methodology. Result - The study suggested the ways of self sustainable win-win growth model for Korea franchise corporate sustainability. First, franchiors should strengthen requisite & specify in the contract, share information & strengthen transparency, and establish win-win management support system for control & autonomy balance. Second, franchises should develop CEO management competency & employee work competency, and establish recognition for Intellectual Property Rights Use. Third, franchisors and franchises should implement contract sincerely, strengthen Organizational Citizenship Behavior, and solve moral laxity. Forth, franchisors and franchises should establish trust and value with communication to make Creating Social Value. Fifth, franchisors and franchises should realize self sustainable social value for corporation and social community. To make this, franchsors and franchise should establish self sustainable win-win growth ecosystem with people, system, culture, innovation. Conclusions - First, Franchisors and franchises should distribute 'Self sustainable win-win growth 2025 for Korea franchise corporate sustainability' and 'Self sustainable win-win growth model for Korea franchise corporate sustainability'. Second, Franchisors and franchises should change their perspective about franchise industry. Third, Franchisors and franchises should develop various training and development plans for franchise industry. Fourth, Franchisors and franchises should establish franchise performance certificate system.
Consumers demand that corporates fulfill their social responsibility by exerting influence over not only economical values but also social values in markets. Given such a social mood, most corporates are actively engaging in Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) activities, and marketing scholars continue to study the effects of such CSR activities. Numerous such studies examined the relationship between CSR activity and brand equity. Moreover, virtually, a majority of these studies focused on consumer responses to CSR activity from an individual brand perspective. In a situation in which brand management must consider the spillover effects of brands, firms holding various brands should consider these spillover effects when they establish CSR activity strategies. Therefore, we examine the effects of CSR activity using a comprehensive approach that considers the hierarchy of brands. Additionally, we develop a new perspective on fit that has been used as a major influence on the effects of CSR activity. We argue that the mixed results of the impact of fit regarding the effect of CSR activities is attributed to the influence of connections among brands based on the hierarchy of brands. We then examine the effect of two types of CSR activity strategies that reflect the relativity of fit. The results reveal that there was no difference in impact of the two strategies based on unique roles and traits of corporate brand and effects of low fit. Also, we found that the corporate brand focused strategy creates a greater change in consumers' attitudes than does an individual brand focused strategy in the case of a particular brand. This finding is meaningful because it indicates that a hierarchy of brands may relatively reduce the impact of the role of fit, unlike general arguments from previous related research. Second, the spillover effects from the CSR activities of individual sub-brands belonging to the same corporate brand were confirmed. Therefore, we clearly verified the role of the hierarchy of brands. Although both strategies cause changes in consumer attitude toward brands engaged in CSR activity, overall, a corporate brand focused strategy turned out to be more effective than an individual brand focused strategy because of the spillover effects of brands. Third, this study verified the effect of a corporate brand focused strategy through a moderating effect analysis of the degree of association between individual brands and corporate brand. Given these results, we identified a moderating role in the degree of association and the changes in consumer attitudes toward both main brands engaged in CSR activities and other different individual brands, which were caused by the spillover effects of brands. Finally, this study addresses implications and limitations.

Purpose - This study empirically analyzes the effects of social responsibility activities (legal, charitable, environmental, ethical) of franchised chain hotels on customer value and SNS citizenship behavior. Furthermore, this study examines mediating role of customer value on SNS citizenship behavior. Design, data, and methodology - A survey was conducted on customers residing in Korea who had visited the franchised chain hotels in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and other regions, over a period of three months (from October 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016). There were a total of 426 valid samples, and the hypotheses were tested through hierarchical analysis. Results - First, among the social responsibility activities of franchised chain hotels, all four factors of legal, charitable, environmental, and ethical responsibilities had a statistically significant positive effect on customer value. Second, among the social responsibility activities of franchised chain hotels, all four factors had a statistically significant positive effect on SNS citizenship behavior. Third, customer value had a statistically significant positive effect on SNS citizenship behavior. Conclusions - Since social responsibility activities are utilized as a means of direct marketing, for creating and selling images of products and services of franchised chain hotels, it is necessary to become a fixed form of corporate culture.
Environmental regulations in the world has been strengthened. International Organization for Standardization (ISO) that international standard for social responsibility in the ISO26000 was published on November 01, 2010. CSR is rapidly changing in global environment. In the meantime, domestic companies such as donations to the required activities ought to be stayed. Strengthening the competitiveness of enterprises in the management tools that should be taken as the movement is taking place. The domestic small and medium-sized corporate social responsibility (SMEs CSR) activities have also taken many changes. In particular, multinational corporations and large companies within the supply chain, B2B companies in partnership appears to have a significant impact on business. In this study, in changing environment for domestic SMEs CEO survey results are based. CSR activities of SMEs and its impact on the financial competence, B2B businesses and B2C business activities of corporate social responsibility has been to analyzed the differences factor. This allows the small and medium-sized companies effectively promote socially responsible business activities, to spread the government, corporate, NGO, and local stakeholder's CSR was to provide a new perspective.
In this study, we aim to examine the impact of corporate social responsibility implementation, which is a major concern in previous research, on investment efficiency. The research method will be a qualitative study with reference to existing previous research. The three main claims to be addressed in this study will be summarized, and the research variables and research models will be described. As a result of the study, based on existing previous research, this study presented three issues to examine how a high level of corporate social responsibility performance increases investment efficiency. First, we argue that a company's high level of social responsibility will be positively related to investment efficiency. Second, it is argued that investment efficiency will be positively related to individual CSR components that represent the interests of primary stakeholders. Third, it is argued that companies with too high a CSR index and companies with a too low CSR index will have less correlation with investment efficiency. The contribution of this study will be to more accurately understand the impact of CSR on corporate investment efficiency. In the future, it is hoped that additional discoveries will be made through research that adopts the three claims presented in this study as hypotheses and empirically analyzes them. Purpose - Environmental issues, climatic changes, and greenhouse gases are problems to be solved at a global level. With an increased emphasis on the environmental and social responsibility of the management of companies, the manner in which companies approach quality-oriented culture and their individual sustainability management are being discussed as truly important issues to help them secure their competitiveness and growth strategies. This study proposes strategic directions to help manufacturers not only in expanding their competitive quality-oriented company culture but also in strengthening their sustainability management abilities. This study conducts a literature review and empirical research to examine how significantly the variables of a quality-oriented company culture, customer-centered management, and process-centered and supply chain management-centered cooperation affect sustainability management performance in relation to economic profitability, environmental integrity, and social responsibility. Research design, data, and methodology - To verify research models and hypotheses, the study examined 170 companies using a questionnaire survey conducted over six weeks, and involved the performance of data analysis on 146 samples. Questionnaire responses were calibrated based on a Likert scale. The study used the Smart PLS 2.0 program designed for PLS (partial least squares), an analysis instrument of SEM (structural equation modeling). The study then verified empirical research hypotheses working on reliability analysis, validity analysis, factorial analysis, and path analysis. Results - Among the nine hypotheses, four are accepted and the rest are rejected. A quality-oriented company culture focusing on customer-centered management significantly influenced the maintainability management performance of environmental integrity and social responsibility, while economic profitability was dismissed. A process-focused quality-oriented company culture was significantly concerned with economic profitability but not with environmental integrity or social responsibility. A supply-chain cooperative company culture had a significant effect on economic profitability but not on environmental integrity or social responsibility. Conclusion - This study proposes strategic directions to help manufacturers expand their competitive quality-oriented company culture as well as strengthen abilities with sustainability management. It conducts a literature review and empirical research to examine how significantly the variables of quality-oriented company culture, customer-centered management, and process-centered and supply chain management-centered cooperation affect sustainability management performance in relation to economic profitability, environmental integrity, and social responsibility. There are two main conclusions. First, companies should consider the need for social responsibility management and environmental transparent management-focused maintainability management as avenues to create new markets and business, thereby helping the companies secure a reputation for having a customer and process-centered quality-oriented company culture by creating shared values between supply chains and enabling win-win situations through cooperation. Second, we are marching towards a creative win-win era from a society of conflicts and ruptures. Companies should understand that social responsibility management and supply chain management (SCM)-focused cooperation are the foundations of sustainable development, as they try to improve their culture while pursuing both win-win relationships with interested parties and equity in various conflictive relations.
Companies are making great efforts to integrate CSR into various aspects of their management strategies. A lot of research has been conducted on what management intends to do indirectly and indirectly. Was performed. In this study, we conducted additional research considering executive compensation as an indicator of the motivation for management to participate in CSR. The main purpose of this study was to analyze whether accounting performance measures or market performance measures are given more weight when providing rewards for performance to corporate managers conducting CSR activities. The analysis of the relationship between CSR and executive performance-reward sensitivity showed that corporate executives who actively implement CSR pay more weight to market performance measures rather than accounting performance measures. Considering the long-term performance of CSR when paying executives' compensation, the company pays more for market performance than accounting performance. This study is expected to be useful for executives to design compensation contracts to actively induce CSR implementation.
In this study, a methodology is investigated for the development of social responsibility program employed by major domestic companies under social pressure. It is true, however, that its infancy in history and lack of experience makes it difficult to run novel programs for the companies on their own and it naturally leads to copying and/or slight modification of what others do. Utilizing widely accepted SWOT analysis, stakeholders analysis and PDCA Cycle, a methodology for the successful programs with sustainability is proposed by reflecting business nature and strategic direction. Three real cases are analyzed. In addition, relationship and position with social welfare organizations is elucidated.
