신.재생에너지이용 발전전력 기준가격 산정에서의 쟁점 (Critical Issues in Assessing Feed-In Tariffs of Electricity from New and Renewable Energies)

  • Levelized generation cost(LGC) has been widely used in assessing feed-in tariffs(FiT) for electricity generating from new and renewable energies. Current FiTs for renewable electricity in Korea have been fixed and applied with realistic economic data by the efforts of KERI(Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute) since October 2006. Some critical issues on the estimation of LGC are, however, found in KERI's report. Major issues are the estimation of capital cost, the consideration of corporate tax, and the application of economic life cycle in the formulae for LGC. These critical issues are examined and interpreted in a correct way in this paper.

Corporate-Series Fed Microstrip Array Antenna with Yagi Elements for 5G

  • The present paper presents an array antenna of a microstrip patch for 5G applications. Four rectangular microstrip patch elements are arranged in parallel and series to form an array antenna. Two insets are made on both sides of each patch element to achieve a wide frequency bandwidth of 23.97-31.60 GHz. To attain a high gain and wider bandwidth, the microstrip patch antenna is fed using series and corporate feeding networks. Further, three director elements on top of the top-most patch elements, and one reflector element at the open end of each patch element, are added. The addition of the Yagi elements improved the overall gain and acquired a higher radiation efficiency throughout the operating frequency bandwidth, with the array antenna achieving a maximum peak gain of 8.7 dB. The proposed antenna is built on a low-loss and low-cost substrate of FR4-eproxy. The proposed antenna design with a simple structure is suitable for Internet of Things and 5G applications.

Device Discovery using Feed Forward Neural Network in Mobile P2P Environment

  • P2P systems have gained a lot of research interests and popularity over the years and have the capability to unleash and distribute awesome amounts of computing power, storage and bandwidths currently languishing - often underutilized - within corporate enterprises and every Internet connected home in the world. Since there is no central control over resources or devices and no before hand information about the resources or devices, device discovery remains a substantial problem in P2P environment. In this paper, we cover some of the current solutions to this problem and then propose our feed forward neural network (FFNN) based solution for device discovery in mobile P2P environment. We implements feed forward neural network (FFNN) trained with back propagation (BP) algorithm for device discovery and show, how large computation task can be distributed among such devices using agent technology. It also shows the possibility to use our architecture in home networking where devices have less storage capacity.

Review on Need for Introduction of New Legal Framework of Investigation and Criminal Sanctions for OSH Fatal Accidents

  • Current OSH system was analyzed in this paper to explain why high fatal incidents and disasters are continuously repeated for recent years in Korea. It was found that we have Dichotomous Perceptional Misconception of prevention before accident and compensation after accident and there is a significant lack of proper feed­back reward system for OSH performance. It was assumed that no reduction of accident rate and fatality rate have not been achieved recently despite of a great effort and increased resource allocations. Some statistics for proving weak punishment were analyzed. In the current system, the will of administrative agency would have been very limited particularly in the legal aspects. The Industrial Safety and Health Act is not suitable to after-injury punishment for employer and/or corporate since it is based on a framework for enforcement of prevention. Based on these analyses, it was concluded that there was a need to consider a special law for Corporate Accountability for Fatal Accidents. Because it is necessary to consider seriously for introduction of a new legal system for after injury punishment to repair the current system where it was found lack of proper feedback system. Also, there was no proper sanction measures for corporate with the current OSH legal system, and the most urgent problem in OSH area is the high fatality rate. it is necessary to consider seriously for introduction of a new legal system for after injury punishment. 조직 기업가 정신이 구성원의 조직몰입과 성과에 미치는 영향: 한국 외식 프랜차이즈 산업 (The Impact of Corporate Entrepreneurship on Employee Commitment and Performance: Evidence from the Korean Food Franchising Sector)

  • Purpose - Competitive industry structure and recent economic depression challenge a survival of Korean small- and medium-sized food franchising companies (SMFCs), albeit the explosive growth of the Korean food service industry for last few decades. Against this backdrop, it examines how these SMFCs overcome liabilities of smallness and resource scarcity to strengthen competitive advantage in the market. To tackle this, in this article we focus on corporate entrepreneurship and human resources as a knowledge-based asset for these SMFCs. Furthermore, the ratio of employee turnover is high in SMFCs. We view that such brain-drain may result in poor performance of the Korean SMFCs. As such, we pay attention to the role of organizational commitment to an organization as a solution for enhancing individual-level employees' loyalty toward their organization. Research design, data, and methodology - Our research question is to what extent corporate entrepreneurship (i.e., innovative organizational culture, organizational autonomy, and administrative innovation) affects an individual-level attitude toward the organization and, in turn, employee creativity and satisfaction in the Korean SMFCs context. We collected data from employees in SMFCs for three months. A total of 126 valid questionnaires were collected, and analyzed the data using partial least squares path modeling. Results - The reliable and valid measurement model feed into testing the structural model. Our findings suggest that innovative organizational culture and organizational autonomy positively affect employee commitment. Particularly, organizational autonomy has a greater effect than innovative culture on employee commitment. However, the relationship between administrative innovation and employee commitment is not significant. We also find that employee commitment positively affects both employee creativity and satisfaction. Conclusions - Our contribution to the existing franchising business and management literature is twofold. First, the conceptual model includes three antecedents in the organizational entrepreneurship dimension to organizational commitment. Second, we conceptualize organizational commitment as employee commitment, and validate its impact on employee creativity and job satisfaction at an individual performance level. Overall, this article suggests that it is critically important for the Korean SMFCs to develop corporate entrepreneurship in order to facilitate employees' positive attitudes toward their organizations.

  • It can be obtained from hydrocarbon and water, specially production of hydrogen from natural gas is most commercial and economical process among the hydrogen production methods, and has been used widely. However, conventional hydrogen production methods are dependent on fossil fuel such as natural gas and coal, and it may be faced with problems such as exhaustion of fossil fuels, production of greenhouse gas and increase of feedstock price. Thermochemical hydrogen production by nuclear energy has potential to efficiently produce large quantities of hydrogen without producing greenhouse gases. However, nuclear hydrogen must be economical comparing with conventional hydrogen production method. Therefore, hydrogen production cost was analyzed and estimated for nuclear hydrogen as well as conventional hydrogen production such as natural gas reforming and coal gasification in various range.

  • In this paper we designed and measured HTS antenna array for Direct Broadcast Satellite (DBS) system. HTS antennas fabricated in this work were a four-element, 11.67 ㎓z, high-Tc superconducting (HTS) microstrip antenna array with corporate feed network and circular polarization for direct broadcas- ting satellite (DBS) system. Our antennas was designed and built on a 0.5 mm thick YBa2Cu3O7-x (YBCO) /MgO substrate. The measurement results showed good axial ratio, wide bandwidth a remarkable improvement over their metal counterpart.

  • Current feed-in tariffs(FIT) of Electricity generating from new and renewable energy sources are reappraised with the corrected formula of levelized generation cost(LGC) of utility power. The LGC of new and renewable electricity should be formulated in explicitly reflecting the capital cost and corporate tax during the economic life cycle based on its realistic application data. An applicable term of the FITs should, especially, be equal to the economic life cycle. The revised FITs issued in 2006 were, however, derived from the incorrect formula described in the study of KERI(Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute), and consequently misestimated. The reappraisal values for FIT of new and renewable electricity were shown and interpreted in this paper. An FIT of PV more than 30 kW, for example, should be 972.86 won/kWh instead of current 677.38 won/kWh increasing 43.6%. An upward revision of other FITs for new and renewable electricities should also be required in the range of 8.6% to 47.3%.

공공기관의 사내벤처제도 개선방안;A사 사례연구 (Study on Internal Corporate Venture Business in Public Companies;Based on A Public Company)

  • 본 논문은 공공기관의 사내벤처제도 개선방안에 대하여 분석하여 보았다. 연구방법은 문헌조사, 국내외 기업 사례조사 및 A공사의 사내벤처제도 운영실태에 대한 종업원의 설문조사와 인터뷰조사 방법을 사용하였다. 분석결과 A공사의 사내벤처제도 문제점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사내벤처제도에 대한 CEO의 강력한 추진의지와 이를 수행할 수 있는 조직분위기 형성의 지속성이 미흡하다. 둘째, 실제 사업을 수행할 종업원의 역량개발 노력이 부족하다. 셋째, 사업아이템 발굴 및 타당성 평가에 있어 종업원의 수용성과 객관성 제고가 필요하다. 넷째, 사내벤처팀의 성과측정을 위한 명확한 기준 및 측정시스템이 미흡하다. 다섯째, 성과에 비례한 보상이 제한적인 범위 내에서 이루어진다. 마지막으로, 사내벤처팀이 별도법인으로 분사 시 모기업의 지분 출자 및 자금지원이 이루어 지지 못하고 있다. 이러한 문제점에 대한 개선방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, CEO의 강력하고도 일관성 있는 제도 후원 의지 천명과 함께 종업원들이 주도가 된 도전적이고 창의적인 조직문화의 확산이 필요하다. 둘째, 공사는 종업원의 역량제고를 위하여 창업관련 지식 및 개인의 역량개발 프로그램 제공과 이를 공유할 수 있는 정보공유 시스템을 갖추어야 한다. 셋째, 사업아이템 발굴 및 타당성 평가에 있어 외부 전문가의 컨설팅 제공 및 타당성 평가결과에 대한 명확한 feed-back을 통하여 수용성 제고와 함께 종업원의 참여의지를 제고하여야 한다. 넷째, 사내벤처팀의 성과측정을 위하여 자율성과 독립성을 전제로 한 명확한 목표부여 및 벤처팀 특성에 맞는 세부 평가시스템을 마련하여야 한다. 다섯째, 사내벤처 참여자에 대하여 성과에 비례하는 보상을 강화하여 실질적인 동기부여가 될 수 있도록 하여야 한다. 마지막으로, A공사는 벤처사업에 대한 사후관리 강화 차원에서 기존의 기술개발과제 지원제도 활용 및 중소기업 창업투자조합 결성을 통하여 분사하는 사내벤처팀에 대한 지분 출자 및 자금지원을 할 수 있도록 하여야한다.

무선통신 백-홀용 V-밴드 도파관 슬롯 서브-배열 안테나의 설계 (Design of V-Band Waveguide Slot Sub-Array Antenna for Wireless Communication Back-haul)

  • 본 논문은 고 용량, Gbps급 데이터 전송을 만족하는 무선 백-홀 시스템에 적용하기 위한 도파관 개구 결합 급전 구조 안테나에 관한 내용으로 V-대역인 57GHz~66GHz 주파수 대역에서 사용 할 공동-급전 구조를 갖는 $32{\times}32$ 도파관 슬롯 서브-배열 안테나를 설계, 제작 하였다. 안테나 구성은 적층 형태로 되어있으며, 각각 복사 부(외부 홈과 슬롯, 캐비티), 개구 결합 부, 급전 부로 이루어져 있다. 안테나 설계는 3차원 유한 요소 법(FEM)을 기반으로 하는 HFSS를 이용 하였고, 안테나 제작은 알루미늄 재질로 정밀도 높은 밀링 머신을 사용하여 각 층을 가공 한 후 은(Ag)-도금 과정을 거쳐 조립하였다. 측정을 통해서 안테나의 특성을 분석한 결과 목표했던 적용 주파수 대역에서의 반사 손실은 전반적으로 -12dB이하 손실 특성을 나타냈으며, VSWR < 2.0기준으로 약 16 %에 달하는 광 대역 주파수 특성을 보였다. 측정된 안테나 복사패턴의 1차 부엽 레벨은 -12.3 dB미만 이고, 3 dB 빔 폭은 약 $1.85^{\circ}$ 로 좁은 빔 폭을 갖는다. 또한, 안테나 이득은 평균 38.5 dBi이상, 효율은 약 90% 이상으로 높은 효율을 얻었다.
