Transparent provision of corporate information among various areas of CSR is also an important topic in the recent consumption situation. In the global fashion industry, it is also a type of radical corporate transparency and ethical management, led by several advanced startups such as Everlane. As a result, the production process is being disclosed. This study empirically analyzes the influence of this fashion product process transparency on the consumer evaluation of the company. According to a survey of 200 Korean respondents, the transparency of the presented fashion firms had a positive effect on corporate trust and purchase intention. It was confirmed that it has. On the other hand, consumer involvement, which has been discussed as an important personal attribute in the associated consumption environment, has no significant moderating effect. In other words, consumers' subjective corporate ethics involvement did not have a significant influence on their corporate transparency evaluation.

  • Purpose - This study highlights the inter-dependence between business and society. Various business strategies like Corporate Philanthropy and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) are introduced to establish better relationship between business and society. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - This study presents a research model clarifying the role of Creating Shared Value (CSV) and its influence on overall corporate performance. Further, we reveal the mediating role of corporate trust generated by various mechanisms of economic and social values, leading to enhanced corporate performance. Results - The proposed research model addresses five different proposals indicating that, by incorporating CSV approaches, organizations can create both business and social values. These values help positively influence corporate trust, ultimately facilitating improvements in overall corporate performance. Conclusions - CSV is currently in its early stage; it is difficult to gather meaningful data to measure its performance. However, this study seeks to connect CSV with other important factors such as corporate trust. The proposed model can be a starting point for a more empirical and formal conceptualization of CSV along with other important links.

  • We demonstrate that the performance of amorphous indium-gallium-zinc-oxide (IGZO) thin-film transistors (TFT) can be optimized by controlling the interfaces between IGZO and sandwiching insulators and by proper deposition of IGZO layer. Specifically, contact and channel resistances are decreased by reducing IGZO bulk resistance and optimizing dry-etch process, respectively. Field-effect mobility ($\mu_{FE}$) and subthreshold gate swing (S) are further enhanced by fine-tuning IGZO deposition condition.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of corporate governance index on the cost of equity in companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange. This study collects data from 975 observations during the period 2012 to 2018 to test the hypotheses using multiple linear regression model for the panel data. In this research, the independent variable of corporate governance index comprises of 27 specific corporate governance attributes. The results of hypothesis testing showed that corporate governance has a negative and significant effect on the rate of capital cost. In other words, the quality of corporate governance can lower the rate of capital cost. This result suggests that, by using a powerful corporate governance system and by declining the information asymmetry (increasing transparency) and agency conflict, we would be able to enhance the quality of financial reports. It would strengthen the capital market, attract financial suppliers and investors, and absorb the required financial resources of the firm by a lower rate. The findings of the study suggest that companies are able to reduce the cost of equity by establishing strong corporate governance. This conclusion suggests the importance and effectiveness of corporate governance in the cost of equity.
