Induction of Demyelination of Neuronal cells by Sindbis Virus (Sindbis Virus에 의한 뉴런세포의 탈수초의 유도)

  • Many viruses including mouse hepatitis virus, corona, measles, and sidbis viruses are known as causative virus of inducing demyelination which means destruction of myelination in nervous system of mice. The purpose of this study is to investigate processing of myelination by co-culture of Schwann cells and neuronal cells and demyelination induced by infection of sindbis virusin rat. Schwann cells and neuronal cells from dorsal root ganglion (DRG) in embryos (E16) of rat were cultured in vitro respectively. The purified neuronal cells with anti-mitotic agents and purified Schwann cells were co-cultured. After that, infection of sindbis virus into this myelinated co-culture system was performed. Myelination and demyelination process were observed using antibody of myelin basic protein meaning presence of myelination.We identified myelination and demyelination processing using antibody of peripheral myelin protein 22 (PMP 22) meaning presence of myelinated neuron. Remote medical Smart healthcare system for IoT-based multi-biometric information measurement (IoT기반 다중 생체정보 측정을 위한 원격 의료 스마트 헬스케어 시스템)

  • Recently, as the uncontact service is activated in earnest due to the Corona 19 virus, the necessity of system development to provide non-face-to-face contact remote medical service has increased. In this study, we propose a smart healthcare system, Rm_She(Remote Medical Smart Healthcare System). Rm_She can collect and manage various vital signs information by connecting various healthcare products that detect bio-signals based on IoT to one application. The health check app (HC_app) is used to connect vital sign measurement devices to a wireless LAN and receive vital sign values from the HC_app. Then, the vital signs are output to the user on the smartphone, and the corresponding information is transmitted to the healthcare management server. The healthcare server receives the measured values and stores them in a database, and the stored measured values are provided as a web service so that medical staff can remotely monitor them in real time.

  • Consultation with the patient and doctor is very important in the examination. However, if the consultation cannot be done directly, such as corona virus, it is difficult for the doctor to determine the patient's condition more accurately. Recently, an image counseling system has been developed based on the Internet, but in the case of heart disease, remote medical counseling cannot be performed because it is not possible to stethoscope the heart sounds remotely. In order to solve this problem, it is necessary to develop an interactive mobile robot capable of remote medical consultation, and a doctor and a patient should be able to set a planting sound during consultation and transmit it in real time. In this paper, we developed a robot that can remotely control a medical counseling robot to move to a hospital room where patients are hospitalized, and to consult a patient in the room remotely from a doctor's office. A remote medical imaging stethoscope system for real-time heart sound transmission is presented. The proposed system is a kind of P2P communication that transmits video information, audio information, and control signal independently through webRTC platform, so that there is no data loss. Consults and sees doctors in real time and finds it more effective than traditional methods for patient security. The system implemented in this paper will be able to perform remote medical care in the place where the spread of diseases between humans like the recent corona 19 as well as the remote medical care of heart disease patients in the future.

  • In airlines, on-time performance (OTP) is a measure of an airline's reliability and can be used as an important indicator when compared to other airlines. This study analyzed the effects and strength of delay factors on airline punctuality by analyzing the data of domestic K airlines for one year before and after March 2020, when the number of flights drastically decreased due to the corona virus. In addition, delays caused by seasonal weather effects were analyzed, and how the number of passengers who plummeted due to the corona situation had an effect on delay factors was studied. As for the delay factors, the delay codes of K airline which added its own codes to the delay codes of IATA, were applied. Based on the results of the analysis, we would like to suggest a method to minimize the delay.

  • With the spread of Corona virus l spreading to the uncertainty of society, consumers request more active social responsibility programs. In other words, it is manifest that corporate brands are required to pursue the public interests. Consumers go beyond the corporate social responsibility programs and support corporate's involvement to solve the social problems and they consume the brand accordingly. Thus, the companies respond to the consumers' request as a form of brand activism, or the new social marketing form in which the companies set the brand as an individual and seek the solutions of social issues. In this study, five experienced experts in the area were recruited to conduct in-depth interviews and how brand activism was practiced worldwide. The results reveal that brand activism is actively practiced with the support of consumers in the area of support for the small business, anti-racism efforts, gender diversity and equality, and sustainability.

A Study on deduction of important factors for new infectious diseases through big data analysis (빅데이터 분석을 통한 신종감염병 중요 요인 도출)

  • This study attempted to derive important factors of emerging infectious diseases by collecting and analyzing text data onto emerging infectious diseases. For this purpose, articles in the Naver News database were directly crawled, pre-processed, and used for data analysis. In addition, additional analysis was performed using Big Kinds. As a result of the priority analysis, the importance was shown in the order of corona, infectious disease, quarantine, vaccine, outbreak, virus, infection, and development. As a result of the proximity centrality analysis, the importance was shown in the order of government, death, and plan, and the analysis result of Big Kinds showed that Covid-19 and the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention were important. Based on the results of this study, it can be said that the government's policy support is needed to raise public awareness of new infectious diseases, prevent disease, and develop vaccines and treatments.

  • As fears of infection with the Corona 19 virus increase, an untact mood is also blowing in the real estate market. Changes in life style are bringing about changes in the way of life and patterns of consumption. In the real estate marketing market, such changes are inevitable. In particular, marketing using a real estate model house has the characteristics of marketing that is closely related to the denseness that many people visit in an enclosed space. These characteristics include all three features (airtight, dense, close), characteristics mentioned in the COVID-19 prevention rules. Therefore, in this study, we will look at ways to reinforce model house customer marketing in line with the untact (non-face-to-face) trend and to avoid the above three features, characteristics in the model house customer marketing process, and show the implementation results to avoid features. Through this, we propose a safe and expandable real estate marketing strategy through the avoidance of the three features of corona 19.

Epidemiologic investigation of gastrointestinal pathogens for Korean cats with digestive sign

  • This study was performed to investigate infectious gastrointestinal diseases in 115 Korean cats (83 indoors and 32 outdoors) with digestive signs such as diarrhea, anorexia or abdominal distention. Detection of infectious pathogens was analyzed using real-time PCR. As a result, 85 of 115 Korean cats were detected with feline corona virus (FCoV), feline parvo virus, Group A rotavirus, Clostridium perfringens (C. perfringens), Campylobacter coli (C. coli), Campylobacter jejuni, enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli, enteropathogenic Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Tritrichomonas foetus, Cyclospora cayetanensis, and Giardia lamblia. The most frequently detected pathogen was C. perfringens (52 cats, 61.2%), followed by FCoV (43 cats, 50.6%) and C. coli (16 cats, 18.8%). Also, single infection was the most common (43 cats), followed by double infection in 31 cats, triple infection in 7 cats, and quadruple infection in 4 cats. There was no significant relationship between pathogen detection and age, gender, living environment, weather, and diarrhea. However, there was a significant difference between the age group under 1 year and the age group 1~7 (P value<0.05). In this study, cats with suspected gastrointestinal infection were randomly evaluated, and other factors that could affect pathogen detection were insufficiently considered. For this reason, additional epidemiological investigations with a larger number of cats and sufficient consideration of the causes that may affect the results are needed. Nevertheless, it is thought that this study can also provide valuable information on gastrointestinal pathogens in Korean cats.

Preparing a Body Temperature Checking Material Using Polydiacetylene (Polydiacetylene을 이용한 체온 측정 물질의 제조)

  • Considering the current COVID 19 pandemic, herein, we developed a material that can be used to fabricate a device for checking the body temperature of a person who has been exposed to influenza or corona virus. This material was formed by mixing pluronic F127 (F127) with a polydiacetylene (PDA) vesicle, which was formed with 10,12-pentacosadiynoic acid. The color of the system started to change from blue to light purple at 37 ℃, finally turning reddish at 40 ℃. Thus, the developed material can be used to detect changes in body temperature, and thus, detect signs of fever. The mixing ratio of the PDA vesicle and F127 was an important factor for controlling the temperature at which the color change started. The results showed that the color change accompanied by the separation of the PDA vesicle with F127. We believe that this phenomenon plays an important role in reducing the conjugation length in the double and triple bond of PDA.

Development of the central control system using IP PBX convergence with broadcasting function (방송기능이 있는 IP PBX 융합 중앙 관제 시스템 개발)

  • Currently, virus infection such as Corona 19 has become commonplace, and interest in unmanned systems is increasing in the field for non-face-to-face ICT services. In this paper, the function and performance of remotely successfully controlling a store through video and audio using an IP PBX with a broadcasting function was verified through a test. And the fully unmanned system is not gaining credibility due to various technical problems, however the central control system is a very efficient and reliable system because the controller can directly control the customer while monitoring the access and the inside of the store through the video and audio. In the future, we plan to study a completely unmanned remote control system using A.I technology.
