RPCVD system을 이용한 ${\mu}c$-Si:H의 저온 직접 성장 연구 (The study of direct ${\mu}c$-Si:H film growth using RPCVD system in low temperature)

  • This paper presents direct ${\mu}c$-Si:H thin film growth on the glass substrates using RPCVD system (remote plasma chemical vapor deposition) in low temperature. Hydrogenated micro-crystalline silicon deposited by RPCVD system in low temperature is very useful material for photovoltaic devices, sensor applications, and TFTs (thin film transistors). Varying the deposition conditions such as substrate temperature, gas flow rate, reactive gas ratio $(SiH_4/H_2)$, total chamber pressure, and rf power, we deposited ${\mu}c$-Si:H thin films on the glass substrates (Corning glass 1737). And then we measured the structural and electrical properties of the films.

CIGS 박막 태양전지의 광흡수층과 Sodium과의 상관특성 분석 (Correlation Properties between Absorber Layer of Cu(InGa)$Se_2$ Thin Films and Sodium)

  • The effect of Na on the structural and electrical properties of CIGS films were studied and their effects on the CIGS/Mo thin film solar cells were investigated. Soda-lime glass and Corning glass were used as substrates to compare the effect of Na diffusion into CIGS film. The resistivity of CIGS films was not changed in the Cu-poor region due to diffusion of Na from soda-lime glass but was mainly determined by the surface resitivity controlled by excess Na.

  • The post-annealing treatments on rf magnetron sputtered PZT($Pb_{1.05}(Zr_{0.52},\;Ti_{0.48})O_3$) thin films($4000{\AA}$) have been investigated for a structure of PZT/Pt/Ti/Coming glass(1737). Crystallization properties of PZT films were strongly dependent on RTA(Rapid Thermal Annealing) annealing temperature and time. We were able to obtain a perovskite structure of PZT at $650^{\circ}C$ and 10min. P-E curves of Pd/PZT/Pt capacitor demonstrate typical hysteresis loops. The measured values of $P_r$, $E_c$ were $8.1[{\mu}C/cm^2]$, 95[kV/cm] respectively. Polarization value decrease about 25% after $10^9$ cycles.

CIGS 태양전지 광흡수층에 미치는 나트륨의 영향 (The effect of Sodium on the property of CIGS solar cell absorber)

  • CIGS 박막태양전지는 박막태양전지 중 최고 효율(20%)을 보이는 태양전지로 각광받고 있다. 이러한 고효율 태양전지는 Soda-lime glass 를 기판으로 사용한 경우로 기판과 CIGS층의 열팽창계수가 비슷하고 또 나트륨이 CIGS 성장시 확산하여 광흡수층에 유익한 영향을 준다고 알려져 있다. 본 실험에서는 나트륨이 함유된 소다라임유리와 거의 포함하고 있지 않은 코닝유리를 기판으로 사용하여 CIGS 광흡수층의 차이를 분석하였다. SIMS, SEM분석결과 소다라임유리의 CIGS Mo 부근과 표면부위에 Na 농도가 높으며, grain 크기가 코닝에 비해 작음을 알 수 있었다. 전기적 특성은 소다라임유리기판의 경우 p-type 농도가 코닝유리기판에 비해 약 $10^5{\sim}10^6$천배가량 높음을 확인하였다. 셀특성또한 코닝 11%, SLG는 16%로 효율차이가 발생하였으며 이는 나트륨으로 p-type 전도도가 향상되어 효율이 개선되는 것으로 판단된다.

Conductivity Behavior of Sodium and Potassium Aluminosilicate Glass Melts

  • The electrical conductivity was investigated in two series of alkali aluminosilicate glass melts, $25R_2O(R: Na and K)-xAl2O3-(75-x)SiO_2$ at temperatures ranging from 1000 to 140$0^{\circ}C$. The dependences of conductivity or activation energy on $Al_2O_3/R_2O$ of both series in the molten state showed a same behavior. These results in the molten state were compared with previous studies for sodium alkali aluminosilicate glasses in the molten and solid state, and explained in terms of the binding state: $[-O]-R^+\; and\; [AlO_4]-R^+$.

Alkali Volatilization in TV Screen Glass Melts

  • The alkali volatilization of TV screen glass melts with various $K_2$O/R$_2$O mole fraction was investigated by dependence of weight loss on time. The melt conductivity was also determined to evaluate relative alkali diffusion in melts. Based on the results of time dependence and compositional dependence of volatilization combining the results of conductivity, the rate determining process of the volatilization was suggested. From the viewpoint of the production and the application of TV glass it was also discussed a correlation between the dependence of properties on $K_2$O/R$_2$O and the present commercial composition.

  • Fracture characteristics for plate and dome shapes of glass filled ceramics using shock tube were carried out. Glass filled ceramics have been considered as a promising candidate material for the dome port cover of air breathing engine. This part of the air breathing engine has an important role as separated membrane between combustion and external air, and needs the frangible characteristics that the particles of fractured glass filled ceramics should not affect the internal components of combustion. The objectives of this study are to evaluate the fracture pressures for various thicknesses and diameters of shock impact area. Also fracture phenomena of separated membrane using a shock tube compare with analytical method. The experimental apparatus consists of a driver, a driven section and a dump tank. The used material is glass filled ceramic made from Corning company. Specimens have the thickness of 3, 4.5 and 6mm. It is expected that the results obtained from this study can be used in the basic data for the dome port cover design of an air breathing engine.

  • The poly silicon thin films were prepared by solid phase crystallization at 600$^{\circ}C$ of amorphous silicon films deposited on Corning 7059 glass and (100) silicon wafer with thermally grown SiO$_2$substrate by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition with varying rf power, deposition temperature, total flow rate. Crystallization time, microstructure, absorption coefficients were investigated by RAMAN, XRD analysis and UV transmittance measurement. Crystallization time of amorphous silicon films was increased with increasing rf power, decreasing deposition temperature and decreasing total flow rate.

퍼지 전문가 시스템을 이용한 유리 용해로 이상 감시 시스템 구축 사례 (A Fault Diagnosis System of Glass Melting furnace Using A Fuzzy Export System)

  • 본 논문에서는 용해로 이상감시를 위한 실시간 유리 용해로 운전 전문가시스템을 구축한 결과를 소개한다. 유리용해 공정에서는 운전자의 경험지식에 의해 내부의 상황을 판단하게 되고, 이는 용해로 수명과 제품의 품질에 중요한 영향을 준다 이를 전문가 시스템으로 구현하기 위하여, 먼저 기존 운전자의 지식을 취합, 분석한다. 그 후, 취합된 각 지식들의 특성에 부합하도록 이진 규칙(Crisp Rule)과 퍼지 규칙(Fuzzy Rule)으로 구분한다. 이 때, 선형 회귀분석을 통하여 퍼지 규칙의 입력을 결정함으로써 보다 정확한 운전 지식의 표현이 가능하도록 하였다. 설계된 알고리즘은 젠심(Gensym)사의 실시간 전문가 시스템 개발 툴인 G2를 사용하여 구현하였다. 제시된 퍼지 전문가 시스템은 삼성코닝(주) 수원사업장의 실제 생산 용해 공정에 직접 적용하여 그 효율성이 검증되었다.
