  • 본 고에서는 디지털 회로의 저 전력소모의 설계와 구현에 관련된 디지털 전대역 회로 설계를 통해서 전반적인 전력 소모의 방법론과 이의 특성을 고찰하고자 한다. 디지털 집적회로의 설계는 광대하고 복잡한 영역이기에 우리는 이를 저전력 소모의 전반적인 회로 설계에 한정할 필요가 있다. 여기에는 로직회로의 합성과, 디지털 전대역 회로설계에 포함되어 있는 입력 clock 버퍼, 레치, 전압 Regulator, 그리고 케페시턴스와 전압기가 0.12 마이크론의 기술로 0.9V의 전압과 함께 쓰여져서 동적 그리고 정적 에너지 소모와 압력, 가속, Junction temperature 등을 모니터 할 수 있게 되어 있다.

Modeling of bond behavior of hybrid rods for concrete reinforcement

  • Fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) rods are used as reinforcement (prestressed or not) to concrete. FRP composites can also be combined with steel to form hybrid reinforcing rods that take advantage of the properties of both materials. In order to effectively utilize these rods, their bond behavior with concrete must be understood. The objective of this study is to characterize and model the bond behavior of hybrid FRP rods made with epoxy-impregnated aramid or poly-vinyl alcohol FRP skins directly braided onto a steel core. The model closely examines the split failure of the concrete by quantifying the relationship between slip of the rods resulting transverse stress field in concrete. The model is used to derive coefficients of friction for these rods and, from these, their development length requirements. More testing is needed to confirm this model, but in the interim, it may serve as a design aide, allowing intelligent decisions regarding concrete cover and development length. As such, this model has helped to explain and predict some experimental data from concentric pull-out tests of hybrid FRP rods.

고속 네트웍 기반의 분산병렬시스템에서의 성능 향상 분석 모델 (Speedup Analysis Model for High Speed Network based Distributed Parallel Systems)

  • 분산병렬처리의 목적은 다양한 내재 병렬 형태의 특징을 갖는 연산 집약적 문제를 고속 네트웍으로 연결되어진 다수의 고성능 및 병렬 컴퓨터들의 각기 다른 능력을 최대한 이용하여 해결함에 있다. 본 논문에서는 분산병렬시스템을 이용하는 경우의 성능 향상 분석을 위해 일반적인 그래프 표현 방법을 포함하는 계산 모델을 제안하고 프로그램의 수행을 위한 스케쥴링 시에 성능 향상이 어떠한 요인에 의해 달성되는지를 분석한다. 제안된 표현 방법은 동기종 및 이기종 시스템 모두에 적용되어질 수 있다. 분산병렬 시스템에서 스케줄링을 통하여 더 많은 속도향상을 얻기 위해서는 태스크와 병렬 컴퓨터간의 병렬특성의 일치가 주의 질게 다루어져야 하며 태스크의 이동으로 인한 통신 오버 헤드가 최소화 되어야 한다.

Chemical Differentiation of CS and N2H+ in Starless Dense Cores

  • CS molecule is known to be adsorbed onto dust in cold dense cores, causing its significant depletion in the center region of cores. This study is aimed to investigate the depletion of CS molecule with optically thin $C^{34}S$ molecular line observations, including significance of its differentiation depending on the evolutionary status of the dense cores. We mapped five evolved starless cores, L1544, L1552, L1689B, L694-2 and L1197 using two molecular lines, $C^{34}S$ (J=2-1) and $N_2H^+$ (J=1-0) with NRO 45 m telescope. The $H^2$ column density and temperature structures of each targets were obtained by SED fitting for Herschel continuum images and the internal number density profiles by model fitting. All of the integrated intensity maps of $C^{34}S$ show depletion holes and 'semi-ring-like' distribution, indicating that the depletion of CS is clear and general. The radial profiles of CS abundance also show significant decrease towards the core center, while $N_2H^+$ abundance is almost constant or enhanced. We find that the more evolved cores with higher $H^2$ density tend to have a stronger depletion of CS. Our data strongly support claims that CS molecule generally depletes out in the central regions of starless dense cores and such chemical differentiation is closely related to their evolution.

Reductive Dissolution of Spinel-Type Iron Oxide by N2H4-Cu(I)-HNO3

  • A N2H4-Cu(I)-HNO3 solution was used to dissolve magnetite powders and a simulated oxide film on Inconel 600. The addition of Cu(I) ions to N2H4-HNO3 increased the dissolution rate of magnetite, and the reaction rate was found to depend on the solution pH, temperature, and [N2H4]. The dissolution of magnetite in the N2H4-Cu(I)-HNO3 solution followed the contracting core law. This suggests that the complexes of [Cu+(N2H4)] formed in the solution increased the dissolution rate. The dissolution reaction is explained by the complex formation, adsorption of the complexes onto the surface ferric ions of magnetite, and the effective electron transfer from the complexes to ferric ions. The oxide film formed on Inconel 600 is satisfactorily dissolved through the successive iteration of oxidation and reductive dissolution steps.

  • 오늘날 원소스 멀티유즈(미국에서는 미디어 프랜차이즈라는 용어를 사용함)가 비주얼 콘텐츠 산업에서 시대의 흐름이 된 이유는 하나의 소스 콘텐츠를 가지고 다양하게 활용, 판매해 부가가치를 극대화 시킬 수 있기 때문이다. 이런 원소스 멀티 유즈가 성공하려면 메인이 되는 하나의 뛰어난 콘텐츠 개발 및 이를 다양한 장르에 접목시키는 기획력이 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이런 원소스 멀티유즈의 여러 성공 사례 중, 메이플 스토리를 중심으로 기획력 등 여러 요인을 분석하여 어떻게 한국에서 성공할 수 있었는지, 또한 한국형 원소스 멀티 유즈가 나아가야 할 점을 제안하도록 하겠다.

  • The understanding of another's behavior is a fundamental cognitive ability for primates including humans. Recent neuro-physiological studies suggested that there is a direct matching algorithm from visual observation onto an individual's own motor repertories for interpreting cognitive ability. The mirror neurons are known as core regions and are handled as a functionality of intent recognition on the basis of imitative learning of an observed action which is acquired from visual-information of a goal-directed action. In this paper, we addressed previous works used to model the function and mechanisms of mirror neurons and proposed a computational model of a mirror neuron system which can be used in human-robot interaction environments. The major focus of the computation model is the reproduction of an individual's motor repertory with different embodiments. The model's aim is the design of a continuous process which combines sensory evidence, prior task knowledge and a goal-directed matching of action observation and execution. We also propose a biologically inspired plausible equation model.

통합변압기 적용 넓은 출력전압제어 LED 전원공급장치 (An Integrated Transformer-based LED Power Supply with Wide-Output-Voltage Control)

  • In this paper, implementation of an integrated transformer applicable to power supply units (PSUs) for a 150-W LED with a wide range of output voltage is presented. The transformer is comprised of a PFC inductor and an LLC resonant transformer, each of which is placed and integrated on an E-I-E-type magnetic core. Integrated transformers with two different air gap topologies (i.e., the side and center gap topologies) are considered in the design phase to investigate their applicability. The design consideration on the LLC resonant converter used for the wide-output-voltage control ranges is described, and the overall performance of the proposed system is verified through realization of it onto a 150-W LED PSU board.

유리렌즈 성형용 초경합금의 Pt 박막의 특성에 관한 연구 (Characteristics of Pt thin films on WC for glass lens molding)

  • Pt thin films on Cr or Ti interlayer were deposited onto a tungsten carbide(WC) substrate by the ion beam assisted DC magnetron sputtering. The various atomic percent of Cr and Ti underneath of the Pt films were prepared to examine the total thin film characteristics. The microstructure and surface analysis of the specimen were conducted by using the SEM, XRD and AFM. Mechanical properties such as hardness and adhesion strength of Pt thin film also were examined. The interlayer of pure Ti was formed with 40 nm thickness while that of pure Cr was done with 50 nm as standard reference. The growth rate of either Cr or Ti thin film was almost same under the same deposition conditions. The SEM images showed that anisotropic grain of Pt thin films consisting of dense columnar structures irrespectively grew from the different target compositions. The values of hardness and adhesion strength of Cr/Pt thin film coated on a WC substrate were higher than those of Ti/Pt thin film.

Stereoselective attachment of S-Proline on Ge(100)

  • The adsorption configurations of S-proline on Ge(100) were studied using scanning tunneling microscopy (STM), density functional theory (DFT) calculations, and high-resolution core-level photoemission spectroscopy (HRCLPES). We identified three adsorption structures of S-proline on Ge(100) through analysis of the STM images, DFT calculations, and HRCLPES results: (i) an 'intrarow O - H dissociated and N dative bonded structure', (ii) an 'O - H dissociation structure', and (iii) an 'N dative bonded structure'. Moreover, because adsorption through the N atom of S-proline produces a new chiral center due to symmetry reduction by N dative bonding, the adsorption configurations have either (R,S) or (S,S) chirality, yielding an (R,S)-'intrarow O - H dissociated and N dative bonded structure' and an (R,S)-'N dative bonded structure', with a preference for reaction at the Re face. This work presents a novel method for generating stereoselective attachment using S-proline molecules adsorbed onto a Ge(100) surface.
