김치 독자성의 근거와 형성 과정에 대한 고찰 (A Study on the Basis and Formation Process of Kimchi's Uniqueness)

  • The Chinese Sigyeong records the foods of the Primitive Pickling Period, pickling being a universal vegetable storage method, but does not indicate the origin of the pickled vegetables or the location of the source of transmission. Kimchi mainly used salt and sauce-based soaking materials at the beginning of the Fermented Pickling Period (beginning in the 1st to 3rd centuries A.D.), and it differed from the Chinese method, which used alcohol and vinegar. In the Umami-Flavored Pickling Period (beginning in the 14th and 15th centuries A.D.), jeotgal, fermented seafoods, were added, and pickles with a completely new identity were created, one different from any other pickles in the world. Lastly, entering the Complex Fermentation and Pickling Period (beginning in the 17th and 18th centuries), the technical process evolved using a separate special seasoning containing red pepper as the secondary immersion source after pickling in brine, the primary immersion source. As a result of this, kimchi was transformed into a food with a unique form and taste not found anywhere else. The unique characteristic of kimchi is that the composition of original materials, a combination of salted marine life and vegetable ingredients, is its core identity, and there is a methodological difference in that it is completed through a second process called saesaengchae (生菜)-chimchae (沈菜).

Improvement of prediction methods of power increase in regular head waves using calm-water and resistance tests in waves

  • This paper applies load variation method to predict speed-power-rpm relationship along with propulsive performances in regular head waves, and to derive overload factors (ITTC, 2018). 'Calm-water tests' and 'resistance test in waves' are used. The modified overload factors are proposed taking non-linearity into consideration, and applied to the direct powering, and resistance and thrust identity method. These indirect methods are evaluated through comparing the speed-power-rpm relationships with those obtained from the resistance and self-propulsion tests in calm water and in waves. The objective ship is KVLCC2. The load variation method predicts well the speed-power-rpm relationship and propulsion performances in waves. The direct powering method with modified overload factors also predicts well. The resistance and thrust identity method with modified overload factor predicts with a little difference. The direct powering method with overload factors predicts with a relatively larger difference.

Participation of SRE4, an URE1 Enhancer Core Sequence, in the Sterol-Mediated Transcriptional Upregulation of the Human Apolipoprotein E Gene

  • The expression of the endogenous human apolipoprotein(apo)E gene was significantly induced when HepG2 cells were treated with exogenous 25-hydroxy-cholesterol. This sterol-mediated apoE gene upregulation appears to require the participation of a positive element for the apoE gene transcription (PET) ( -169/ -140), a core sequence of upstream regulatory element (URE)1 enhancer of the human apoE gene. This PET was renamed as sterol regulatory element (SRE)4 based on its new role as a sensor for the level of intracellular sterol. Furthermore, a gel mobility shift analysis showed that binding activity of the SRE4 binding protein (BP) obtained from HepG2 cells was induced by sterol treatment, while that from either MCF7 or BT20 cells remained unchanged. Binding activity of SRE4BP was also induced in mouse macrophage cells, J774A.1, by sterol treatment, but it was drastically reduced when cells were subjected to treatment of AY-9944, a potent inhibitor for sterol synthesis. However, binding activity of Spl, which is a co-binding protein to the SRE4 region, remained the same in either condition, suggesting that SRE4BP (formally known as PETBP) may be mainly responsible for the sterol-mediated regulation of the apoE gene expression. Deletion analysis of the core binding site of SRE4BP by gel mobility shift assays showed that the minimal sequence of the SRE4BP binding appears to reside between -157 and -140, confirming the identity of SRE4 with the previously determined core sequence of URE1.

  • 글로벌화라는 세계적인 흐름 속에 각국의 도시들은 각 도시의 인지도와 이미지를 제고시키기 위해 도시경관의 정체성을 확립하고자 노력을 기울이고 있으며 이러한 흐름 속에 서울도 도시경관의 정체성을 확보하기 위한 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그러나 일부 도시경관의 문제점 파악과 그 개선방향에 대한 연구가 주류를 이루고 있어 현재 구축된 도시경관 자체의 정체성을 확보하는 연구는 아직 미진한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 인터넷 설문조사를 수행하여 인지도 및 인식 차이를 기반으로 도시경관을 분석하고 이를 시각화하는 분석틀을 제안한다. 본 분석틀의 가장 핵심이 되는 도시경관에 대한 인식 및 인지도 차이 분석은 설문조사의 응답에서 추출한 정답률과 명답률에 의해 이루어지며 시각화는 이들의 상관관계를 통해 도출되는 정확률을 도식화하는 방법으로 수행된다.

  • 지방자치단체의 도입과 정착으로 지역 간의 다양한 경쟁으로 도시마케팅에 대한 중요성이 매우 증대되고 있다. 이에 따라 지역발전을 위한 일련의 활성화 정책들이 등장하기 시작하고 이 과정에서 지역들이 갖고 있는 고유의 역사와 문화는 훌륭한 핵심수단으로 인식되기 시작했다. 도시가 경쟁력을 갖기 위해 그 도심만의 유 무형의 자원을 개발하여 이를 매력적인 자산으로 활용하는 것이 그 출발점이라 할 수 있다. 그 지역이 갖는 도시정체성을 확립하고 이를 위해 특별한 장소 만들기를 위한 계기가 필요하다. 이러한 도시정체성은 그 도시가 지금까지 지내온 시간을 바탕으로 한다. 이러한 역사적인 요소를 통해 지역의 이미지를 제고시키는 전략을 개발하여 대외적인 홍보방안 수립을 위한 이미지 강화 프로그램을 제안하고 한다. 대전시에 존재하는 문화적 요소인 근대 역사물의 보존과 활용을 통해 지역의 매력적인 도시로서 이미지를 제고 시키고 도시 정체성에 대한 포지셔닝을 구축하고, 지속가능한 도시 재생에 대한 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

진정성 마케팅 효과 연구 - 브랜드 신뢰도의 매개 역할을 중심으로 - (A study on the effectiveness of authenticity marketing - Focusing on the mediating role of brand trust -)

  • This study aims to understand the influence of authentic marketing on the formation of trust between brands and customers and consumers' purchase intentions and to analyze the role that brand trust has in this process. In doing so, it examines the specific aspects of authentic marketing that increase brand trust and contribute to the formation of purchase intentions, which could then be leveraged as key elements of a company's marketing strategy. Data in this study was used frequency analysis and factor analysis through SPSS 26.0, and reliability analysis using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Subsequently, confirmatory factor analysis, path model analysis, and mediated effect analysis were performed using AMOS. Finding indicate that, identity and truth in authentic marketing had a positive effect on brand trust but heritage and reality did not affect brand trust. It was also found that the factors of identity, heritage, reality, and trust did not significantly affect purchase intention. Additionally, brand trust was found to have a positive effect on purchase intention. Finally, the analysis indicates that brand trust plays a mediating role in the process of forming purchase intention through the factors of identity and truth in authentic marketing. Therefore, the core of authentic marketing is the sincere relationship between companies and consumers obtained from the clarity and integrity of messages, and in this process, mutual trust is built, which leads to product purchases. It can be surmised that the purpose of authentic marketing is to build relationships with consumers based on brand trust.

감성적 지역 이미지요소를 적용한 도시디자인 아이덴티티 (City design identity with application of the region's emotional image factors)

  • 본 연구에서는 공공시설물의 통합적 디자인을 제안하는 데 있어 지역의 특성과 이미지 요소의 분석을 기초로 한 도시이미지 아이덴티티 도출과 적용 방안을 제시하는 것을 기본적인 목적으로 한다. 이에 특정지역으로서 포항시를 대상으로 하여 자연적 특성, 환경적 특성, 산업적 특성의 이해와 분석을 통하여 권역을 도심권, 해양권, 내륙권, 공단권으로 세분화하여 정의하였다. 또한 시민의 의식 조사와 지역의 문화적인 상징 이미지 조사 분석을 병행하였으며, 이를 통하여 포항시의 도시디자인 아이덴티티 전략을 수립하여 공공시설물 디자인 개발 과정에 적용하였다. '결'이라는 아이덴티티 모티브를 바탕으로 '철', '해양', '과학'의 이미지를 아이덴티티의 핵심이미지로 선정하여 디자인요소로서 적용하였다. 그리고 경관 색채 분석으로 세부 권역별로 4가지의 전용 색채를 선정하는 것이 가능하였다. 4개의 권역별로 나누어 설치가 필요한 공공시설물은 단위지역의 차별화된 이미지 확립을 비롯하여 도시 전체의 이미지 아이덴티티를 통합화할 수 있도록 "색채와 소재의 일관성 적용" 방안과 "형태의 일관성 및 부분적 색채의 다양성 적용"하는 방안으로 나누어 제시하였다.

조직 내부의 정보보안 제언 행동 강화: 조직 공정성과 개인의 사회적 정체성을 통한 업무 스트레스 감소 관점 (Reinforcement of IS Voice Behavior within the Organization: A Perspective on Mitigating Role Stress Through Organization Justice and Individual Social-identity)

  • 정보보안이 조직의 핵심 가치로 인식되면서, 조직들은 높은 수준의 정보보안 정책 및 기술 도입 등의 활동을 수행하고 있다. 하지만, 정보보안을 업무에 적용해야 하는 조직원에게 엄격한 정보보안 정책은 오히려 부정적 영향을 줄 수 있다. 본 연구는 정보보안이 조직원의 업무 스트레스를 발현시킬 수 있음을 확인하고, 스트레스를 완화하는 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 세부적으로, 조직의 정보보안 조직 공정성과 개인의 사회적 정체성이 제언 행동에 부정적 영향을 주는 업무 스트레스를 감소시킬 수 있음을 확인한다. 연구는 정보보안 규정 및 정책을 과업에 적용한 조직의 근로자들에게 설문하였으며, 318개의 표본을 확보하였다. 그리고, 연구는 구조방정식 모형을 적용하여 가설을 검증하였다. 가설 검증 결과, 정보보안 조직 공정성이 사회적 정체성을 통해 제언 행동을 높였으며, 조직 공정성이 업무 스트레스를 완화하여 부분적으로 제언 행동을 감소시켰다. 또한, 사회적 정체성이 업무 스트레스와 제언 행동 간의 관계를 조절하였다. 본 연구는 조직 및 개인 차원의 업무 스트레스 완화 조건을 제시함으로써, 조직 내부의 정보보안 목표 달성을 위한 전략적 시사점을 제공한다.

Living for the Children: Immigrant Korean Mothers' Re-creation of Family after Marital Dissolution

  • Purpose: This study was a grounded theory research aimed at generating a substantive theory that accounts for the explanatory social processes in which immigrant Korean single-mother families were engaged in the United States. Methods: In-depth interviews were conducted with 15 immigrant Korean single mothers who were living with children under 18 years of age at the time of the interviews. Data collection guided by theoretical sampling and concurrent constant comparative analysis of the transcribed data was conducted to identify the core social process. Results: The emerged core social process was "living for the children," which represented the driving process by which these women made transition to their new lives as single-mother families. The major task throughout the entire transition was re-creating their families. The women's transition involved practical and psychological transitions. The practical transition involved three stages: assuring family survival, struggling between the father role and the mother role, and stabilizing. The psychological transition involved becoming strong and settling in with a new supportive network. Conclusion: Study results added to the literature by elaborating the women's emphasis on maternal identity and the resilience-provoking nature of the women's transitions.

The Effects of Job Characteristics on the Team Creativity of Distribution Companies: Moderating Effects of Transformational Leadership

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the causal relationship between job characteristics and creativity. The role of transformational leadership is also examined. To identify the relationship between core team job characteristics and transformational leadership, an empirical survey was conducted through surveys of domestic distribution companies. Among the collected questionnaires, missing and insincere responses were excluded and 636 individuals of 107 teams were used for the SPSS 18 analysis. It was found that job meaningfulness was positively related to team creativity and transformational leadership also had a significant effect. Task feedback was shown to be an important factor on the motivation to perform tasks successfully. In the case of transformational leadership, this leadership style helped individuals overcome fear by providing support, sympathy, and consideration to create novel ideas. But, its effects were different on team creativity when it interacted with core job characteristics. Departments where creativity is highly emphasized within an organization are able to design job characteristics which fit the task at hand. Moreover, transformational leadership brings about different effects on team creativity when it interacts with job characteristics. The findings of this study suggest that organizations should consider characteristics of tasks and individuals as well when conducting education and training.
