역량기반 학습성과 평가 시스템 구현을 위한 데이터 모델링 및 알고리즘 설계 (Data modeling and algorithms design for implementing Competency-based Learning Outcomes Assessment System)

  • 본 논문의 목적은 교과기반 학습성취평가 시스템 구현을 위한 교과 데이터 모델 및 학습 성취도 산출 알고리즘 개발이다. 현재 대학 교육의 방향인 역량기반 교육을 위해서는 교과기반 학습성취 평가가 필수적이지만 기존 연구들은 교육학적 관점으로서 컴퓨터 시스템 관점의 해결책이 매우 부족하다. 본 논문에서는 코스맵 데이터 구조 분석을 통해 계층 구조의 학습성과 모델, 학습모듈 및 학습활동 모델, 학습성과와 학습활동 연계 매트릭스 모델 및 자동화된 성취도 산출 및 성취수준 평가를 위한 성취도 계산 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이를 통해 교과기반 학습성취 평가 시스템을 개발할 수 있으며 시스템 활용을 통해 학습자의 역량 성취를 효과적으로 평가할 수 있다. 제안된 모델과 알고리즘의 평가를 위해 실제 운영중인 자바프로그래밍 교과목에 적용하였으며 이를 통해 교과기반 학습성과 성취평가 시스템 구현의 핵심요소로 활용할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 향후 연구는 학습성과 성취도 산출을 기반으로 적응형 학습 피드백과 개인화된 학습 추천 알고리즘 개발 및 시스템 구현이다.

Course Embedded Assessment 기반 간호교육 프로그램학습성과 평가체제 개발 (Development of a Program Outcomes Assessment System based on Course Embedded Assessment for Nursing Education)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a program outcomes assessment system based on Course Embedded Assessment for nursing education. Methods: This study was conducted in accordance with the procedures of the developmental research method. Results: The major results are as follows. 1) The program outcomes were measured according to the Analytic Hierarchy Process. 2) The Course Embedded Assessment matrix was made according to program outcomes' weight, the curriculum-organizing principle, and achievement levels. 3) The Course Embedded Assessment rubric was developed in logical process, and consisted of a performance criterion, and rating scale. The content validity index of the Course Embedded Assessment rubric was 0.85. 4) An evaluation guideline and 12 documents were developed to facilitate the performance of the assessment system. 5) The average content validity index of the Course Embedded Assessment-based program outcomes assessment system was as high as 0.89. Conclusion: A Course Embedded Assessment-based program outcomes assessment system is more suitable for accreditation of nursing education than previous studies. Because this system evaluates the process of achievement as well as program outcomes, the results can also serve as immediate feedback to improve the educational process. Above all, this system facilitates that students check their achievements and strive to acquire core competencies in nursing.

대학생의 핵심역량 강화를 위한 커뮤니케이션 교과목 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Developing Communication Courses to Enhance Undergraduates' Core Competence)

  • 최근 기술의 발전과 함께 문화 간 융합이 이루어지는 정보사회화 흐름 속에서 커뮤니케이션 역량의 중요성이 더욱 커지고 있다. 이에 각 대학에서 커뮤니케이션 역량을 경쟁력 있는 인재양성에 있어 꼭 필요한 핵심역량의 하나로 간주하고 이와 관련된 교육과정의 개설과 운영을 위해 노력하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 대학생들의 핵심역량 강화를 위한 커뮤니케이션 교과목 개발에 관한 과정과 구체적인 콘텐츠를 제시하고 있다. 커뮤니케이션 교과목에 관한 콘텐츠에는 강의개요, 강의목표, 강의방법, 성적 평가방법, 주차별 학습주제, 학습목표, 학습내용 등이 포함되어 있다. 본 연구는 대학생들이 커뮤니케이션에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 커뮤니케이션 능력을 효과적으로 배양하여 대학생활을 하는데 있어 핵심역량을 더욱 향상시킬 수 있는 토대를 제공할 것이다. 또한 본 연구는 대학 및 사회에서 갖추어야 할 구성원의 핵심역량으로 가장 우선시 되고 있는 커뮤니케이션 역량에 대한 체계적 교육을 통해 사회적 가치를 창출할 수 있는 유능한 인재양성의 장을 마련해 줄 것이다.

Construction of Practical Teaching System of Database Principles based on Core Literacy

  • The promulgation of the overall framework of Chinese students' development of core literacy has made the implementation of core literacy into specific teaching activities an urgent problem to be solved in the field of education. Based on the analysis of the problems existing in the undergraduate education under the mode of emphasizing theory and neglecting practice, this paper constructs the practical teaching system of Database Principle Course Based on the core quality, expounds the implementation strategy of practical teaching, and probes into how to train the students in the practical teaching of database principle Cultivate scientific spirit, learning ability, practical innovation, responsibility and other core literacy. After 5 rounds of practice, students have achieved better development in independent development and collaborative work, and their awareness of practical innovation has been significantly improved.

토목환경공학과 특성을 고려한 공학입문설계 학습지도 사례연구 (Case Study on Course Plan of Introductory Engineering Design for Students Majoring Civil and Environmental Engineering)

  • This study summarized the case study of a course development of introductory engineering design considering the characteristics of civil and environmental engineering. The course mainly depends on conducting the design projects. The self-developed text book for the course consists of learning and activities of the core elements for the creation and decision of ideas and two independent design projects. Especially, the design project drew from a survey of students majoring in civil and environmental engineering and is well knitted to help students obtain the potential for soft-landing at higher major courses.

간호대학생의 임상시험실무역량강화를 위한 '임상연구관리' 교과목 개발 (Development of Clinical Research Management: Enhancement of Nursing Students' Clinical Competency in Handling Clinical Trials)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to develop a new course entitled 'Clinical Research Management' to enhance nursing students' clinical competency in handling clinical trials. Methods: The goals and content of the existing current education program for clinical research professionals such as clinical research coordinators and clinical research associates provided by the Korea National Enterprise for Clinical Trials were analyzed to identify the core educational concepts. A focus group interview was performed to investigate essential competency levels for the professionals who were to begin their career in the area of clinical trials after graduating from the college of nursing. Through these initial processes, we identified the core competency required for clinical research professionals and the related course content. Goals and objectives based on the specified four competencies were set and confirmed by expertise review. Results: We developed a new course entitled Clinical Research Management, a 16-week elective subject consisting of various teaching and learning strategies based on four core competencies: basic knowledge on clinical trials, communication, risk management, and ethics. Conclusion: The results of this study will contribute to enhancing nursing students' clinical competency, including knowledge, skills, and attitudes relevant to clinical trials.

  • 카드소팅(Card sorting)은 항목 간의 관계에 대한 사용자의 인식을 이해하는 데 유용한 데이터 수집 방법으로서, 일반적으로 카드소팅은 사용자 조사 및 평가에 매우 유용한 직관적이고 비용 효율적인 기술이다. 본 연구에서는 각 분야 직업별 핵심역량들은 코스 개발을 위하여 다음 단계인 카드소팅 단계에서 활용되는 역량카드로 사용하고, 결과를 군집화 하기 위해 K-평균 알고리즘을 적용하여 군집화 결과를 도출하였다. 카드소팅 결과 각 분야 직업별 핵심역량들에 대한 역량 군집화는 Participant-Centric Analysis (PCA)를 바탕으로 검증하였고, 이를 바탕으로 역량에 따른 직업별 코스 및 역량 분류 결과와 클러스터링에 의한 카드 유사성 정도는 각 직업별 핵심 역량 카드수에 대해 소팅 참여자 수 대비 군집화에 적합하게 동의한 참여자의 수와 카드 유사성 정도를 도출하였다.

인도 및 파키스탄의 도서관학교육 비교연구 (A comparative study on library and information science education of India and Pakistan)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the information for the developing rational curriculum that is necessary in the socio-cultural situation by comparativing and analyzing the library and information science education of India and Pakistan. The conclusions of the study can be summarized as follows: 1) It is desirable that Master's degree course and M. Phil. program in India, Post-graduate diploma course and Master's degree course in Pakistan should be integrated as Master's degree course. 2) It is desirable that the duration of Master's degree course should be extended. 3) The variously expressed papers that represented the same subject or content should be unified. 4) In Bachelor's level, India establishes the various papers of library and information science, but Pakistan offers largely the core papers. 5) It is desirable that papers of historical research, progressive reference service, and information science should established, and introductory papers should be united in introduction to library and information science. 6) In Master's degree course, Indian curriculum is more up-to-date and pertinent than Pakistan's. 7) Each university should establish the papers of types of libraries standing for characteristic of his university, and harmonize library science and information science. 8) The reason that curricula of two countries are different from each other is due to lack of inter-university cooperation and standard of curriculum, therefore it is required a continuing research and effort to su n.0, pplement and reorganize the curriculum.

Analysis of fluctuations in ex-core neutron detector signal in Krško NPP during an earthquake

  • During an earthquake on December 29th 2020, the Krško NPP automatically shutdown due to the trigger of the negative neutron flux rate signal on the power range nuclear instrumentation. From the time course of the detector signal, it can be concluded that the fluctuation in the detector signal may have been caused by the mechanical movement of the ex-core neutron detectors or the pressure vessel components rather than the actual change in reactor power. The objective of the analysis was to evaluate the sensitivity of the neutron flux at the ex-core detector position, if the detector is moved in the radial or axial direction. In addition, the effect of the core barrel movement and core inside the baffle movement in the radial direction were analysed. The analysis is complemented by the calculation of the thermal and total neutron flux gradient in radial, axial and azimuthal directions. The Monte Carlo particle transport code MCNP was used to study the changes in the response of the ex-core detector for the above-mentioned scenarios. Power and intermediate-range detectors were analysed separately, because they are designed differently, positioned at different locations, and have different response characteristics. It was found that the movement of the power range ex-core detector has a negligible effect on the value of the thermal neutron flux in the active part of the detector. However, the radial movement of the intermediate-range detector by 5 cm results in 7%-8% change in the thermal neutron flux in the active part of the intermediate-range detector. The analysis continued with an evaluation of the effects of moving the entire core barrel on the ex-core detector response. It was estimated that the 2 mm core barrel radial oscillation results in ~4% deviation in the power and intermediate-range detector signal. The movement of the reactor core inside baffle can contribute ~6% deviation in the ex-core neutron detector signal. The analysis showed that the mechanical movement of ex-core neutron detectors cannot explain the fluctuations in the ex-core detector signal. However, combined core barrel and reactor core inside baffle oscillations could be a probable reason for the observed fluctuations in the ex-core detector signal during an earthquake.

4차 산업혁명 시대 공학 분야의 진입 능력 함양을 위한 집중 이수제 공학 교육 운영에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Operation of Intensive Coursework Engineering Education to Cultivate the Ability to Enter the Engineering Field in the Era of the 4th Industrial Revolution)

  • 대학 자체로 선정한 대학 고유의 핵심 6개 역량들 중에서 측정된 부족한 사항들을 강화시켜 교육 목표에 도달하기 위해, 학생 융합적 사고 역량과 자기 계발 역량을 최대화하는 집중 이수형 과목 형태로 공학 관련 전공 콜라주 과목을 신설하였다. 학부/학과간 공유형 교육과정으로 진행하였고, 2020학년 1,2학기 각각에서 2개 이수 집단(전기전자제어공학부 전자공학전공; 26명, 광공학과; 28명) 54명을 대상으로 공통된20개 문항들의 설문 결과를 종합, 분석하였다. 그 결과 응답자75% 이상이 장소와 시간에 자유로운 온라인 학습에 긍정적이었고, 녹화된 동영상 학습 시간내 추가적인 상호작용 활동들과 팀티칭(team teaching) 방식을 보강한 집중 이수 형태는 학습 효과를 극대화할 수 있다고 판단한다.
