소프트웨어 소스 코드의 저작권 관리를 위한 디지털 라이센스의 검색 (Digital License Searching for Copyright Management of Software Source Code)

  • 지적재산권 제도는 21세기 정보화 사회의 발전에 있어서도 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 국가 경쟁력 제고를 위해서도 디지털콘텐츠에서 확대하여 소프트웨어 소스 코드에 대한 지적재산권 제도와 기술의 정비는 매우 중요한 의미를 지닌다. 소프트웨어 소스코드의 소유권 분쟁이 발생 시 소유권을 증명하기 위해서는 원본의 소프트웨어 소스코드를 판별해야만 하는 문제점을 갖고 있다. 본 연구에서는 소프트웨어 소스코드의 원본 판별을 지원하기 위한 소프트웨어 소스코드의 디지털 라이센스는 소스코드의 예약어를 파싱하여 계층구조를 갖는 XML 파일로 표현하며, 복잡한 소스코드 대신에 소프트웨어 소스코드의 아키텍처를 트리구조 형태로 표현할 수 있다. 그리고 디지털 라이센스를 검색하기 위한 색인 및 검색에 대한 연구를 수행한다.

Real 3D Property Integral Imaging NFT Using Optical Encryption

  • In this paper, we propose a non-fungible token (NFT) transaction method that can commercialize the real 3D property and make property sharing possible using the 3D reconstruction technique. In addition, our proposed method enhances the security of NFT copyright and metadata by using optical encryption. In general, a conventional NFT is used for 2D image proprietorial rights. To expand the scope of the use of tokens, many cryptocurrency industries are currently trying to apply tokens to real three-dimensional (3D) property. However, many token markets have an art copyright problem. Many tokens have been minted without considering copyrights. Therefore, tokenizing real property can cause significant social issues. In addition, there are not enough methods to mint 3D real property for NFT commercialization and sharing property tokens. Therefore, we propose a new token management technique to solve these problems using integral imaging and double random phase encryption. To show our system, we conduct a private NFT market using a test blockchain network that can demonstrate the whole NFT transaction process.

A Privacy Negotiation Algorithm for Digital Rights Management

  • Internet-based distribution of digital contents provides great opportunities for producers, distributors and consumers, but it may seriously threaten users' privacy. The Digital Rights Management (DRM) systems which one of the major issues, concern the protection of the ownership/copyright of digital content. However, the most recent DRM systems do not support the protection of the user's personal information. This paper examines the lack of privacy in DRM systems. We describe a privacy policy and user's privacy preferences model that protect each user's personal information from privacy violation by DRM systems. We allow DRM privacy agent to automatically negotiate between the DRM system policy and user's privacy preferences to be disclosed on behalf of the user. We propose an effective negotiation algorithm for the DRM system. Privacy rules are created following the negotiation process to control access of the user's personal information in the DRM system. The proposed privacy negotiation algorithm can be adapted appropriately to the existing DRM systems to solve the privacy problem effectively.

  • Purpose: This paper is to review and analyze development strategy of the East Asian Journal of Business Economics and to look at the previous and current changed publication system and process in order to step up the article quality of EAJBE. Research design, data and methodology: This study grasped the current status and strategy of this journal through literature review. In addition, through the case of EAJBE, the internationalization strategy and research ethics policy of this journal were analyzed. Results: EAJBE clarifies the copyright delegation procedure of the final publication paper. Regarding compliance with research ethics, Editor-in-Chief and Management Editor are completing research ethics training. From 2017 to the present, Editor-in-Chief and Management Editor have completed online ethics training and hold certificates of completion. Conclusions: EAJBE specifies the rules for exclusion of examination by the contributor and the examiner belonging to the same institution and actually operates in this way. Currently, by using the Jams system, the plagiarism verification procedure is operated using the thesis plagiarism prevention system. Finally, in order to strengthen research ethics standards, EAJBE is trying to establish and strengthen a verification system for each paper using the system of the Korea Research Foundation, not the previous foreign paid plagiarism system.

  • 국가경쟁력의 핵심기반인 과학기술정보 유통체제를 효율적으로 구축하기 위해서는 국가에서 발생되는 중요 과학기술정보가 체계적이고 종합적으로 수집 관리 및 유통될 수 있는 제도를 정비하는 것이 필요하다. 이 연구는 그 제도적 장치 중의 하나인 과학기술정보 납본제도에 관하여 현행 법령규정의 문제점을 분석하고 그 개선방안을 제시하였다.

  • 본 연구는 구술자료 아카이브 정보시스템 설계를 위하여 구술기록물의 생산, 수집절차, 접근의 용이성, 저작권 등에 대하여 논의하였으며, 웹 구술사료 아카이브 설계 구축을 위한 기본 방안과 평가를 위한 가이드라인을 개발함으로써 웹 구술사료 아카이브 구축을 위해 활용 가능한 기준을 제시해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 평가 프레임워크를 기반으로 국내외 웹 구술사료 아카이브 5개 기관을 선정하여 연구자가 제시한 평가용 가이드라인을 적용하여 사례분석을 하였다. 여기에서 얻어진 결과를 바탕으로 국내의 웹 구술사료 아카이브 정보시스템 구축을 위한 개선점을 논의하였다.

Broadcasting System Compliant with MPEG-2/4 IPMPX

  • In this paper, we present an intellectual property management and protection (IPMP) system in a broadcasting environment to provide mechanisms for copyright and contents protection that are compliant with the MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 IPMP Extension (IPMPX) specifications. The technology for processing IPMP related information was exploited, and a terminal model has been successfully designed and implemented. In addition, interoperability, which is the main objective of MPEG-2/4 IPMPX, has been addressed in detail. The experimental results show that the implemented system performs the IPMP process well, meeting the requirements of a broadcasting environment.

Protection of MPEG-2 Multicast Streaming in an IP Set-Top Box Environment

  • The widespread use of the Internet has led to the problem of intellectual property and copyright infringement. Digital rights management (DRM) technologies have been developed to protect digital content items. Digital content can be classified into static content (for example, text or media files) and dynamic content (for example, VOD or multicast streams). This paper deals with the protection of a multicast stream on set-top boxes connected to an IP network. In this paper, we examine the following design and architectural issues to be considered when applying DRM functions to multicast streaming service environments: transparent streaming service and large-scale user environments. To address the transparency issue, we introduce a 'selective encryption scheme'. To address the second issue, a 'key packet insertion scheme' and 'hierarchical key management scheme' are introduced. Based on the above design and architecture, we developed a prototype of a multicasting DRM system. The analysis of our implementation shows that it supports transparent and scalable DRM multicasting service in a large-scale user environment.

  • Research on the Development of EPUB SCP(Secure Content Protection) Technical Specification and International Standardization has been carried out as a R&D project granted by the Korea Copyright Commission since 2014. The research aims to build a standard framework for the EPUB DRM(Digital Rights Management) based on the Readium LCP(Licensed Content Protection) and KS EPUB DRM specifications, to develop element technologies for the framework, and to standardize it as an IDPF(International Digital Publishing Forum) industrial standard. One of the essential features of the EPUB DRM developed though this study is to support the lending model of the digital library. This paper introduces LSD(License Status Document) specification which is a DRM license management protocol for the digital library lending process, and also represents a model which can automatically test the implemented entities of the LSD specification, test scenarios and test materials.

공개키 기반의 디지털 콘텐츠 및 인스턴트 플레이어 보호방법연구 (Protect Digital Contents and Instant Player using PKI)

  • 인터넷 기술의 발전에 따라 많은 사람들이 인터넷을 통하여 다양한 디지털 콘텐츠를 액세스할 수 있게 되었으나 이러한 접근은 저작권과 소유권 침해를 일으킬 수 있다. 디지털 콘텐츠가 다운로드 된 이후에 디지털 콘텐츠를 보호할 수 있는 방안으로 디지털 콘텐츠에 대한 저작권을 보호하기 위해 DRM(Digital Rights Management)기술이 연구되고 있는 상태이다. 본 논문에서는 콘텐츠의 생성에서부터 사용자가 사용하는 Player를 사용자의 공개키로 암호화하고 Player 내부에 디지털 콘텐츠에 대한 저작권을 보호할 수 있는 일정기간 사용이 가능한 대칭키와 CCI(Copy Control Information)을 넣는 시스템을 제안한다.
