  • This paper describes a article how to protect from illegal indiscriminate copy of digital broadcasting content using DRM and CCI. With the start of terrestrial / satellite digital broadcast and the preparation of Digital Cable broadcast, we can view HD digital contents through the various channel. Also we can record, play, redistribute digital contents in PVR. The protection of Digital Contents Right became of the important issue to protect CopyRight. In this paper, we implement a manager that prevents indiscriminate digital contents redistribution of the digital broadcast contents. For protection of Digital contents Right, we use BF(Broadcast Flag) and CCI (Copy Control Information) which we can control viewing or copy digital contents with.

Fast Detection of Copy-Move Forgery Image using DCT

  • In this paper, we proposed a fast detection method of copy-move forgery image based on low frequency coefficients of the DCT coefficients. We proposed a new matching criterion of copy-moved forgery image detection (MCD) using discrete cosine transform. For each $8{\times}8$ pixel block, the DCT transform is calculated. Our algorithm uses low frequency four (DC, 3 AC coefficient) and six coefficients (DC, 5 AC coefficients) of DCT per $8{\times}8$ pixel block. Our algorithm worked block matching for DCT coefficients of the $8{\times}8$ pixel block is slid by one pixel along the image from the upper left corner to the lower right corner. Our algorithm can reduce computational complexity more than conventional copy moved forgery detection algorithms.

Genome Architecture and Its Roles in Human Copy Number Variation

  • Besides single-nucleotide variants in the human genome, large-scale genomic variants, such as copy number variations (CNVs), are being increasingly discovered as a genetic source of human diversity and the pathogenic factors of diseases. Recent experimental findings have shed light on the links between different genome architectures and CNV mutagenesis. In this review, we summarize various genomic features and discuss their contributions to CNV formation. Genomic repeats, including both low-copy and high-copy repeats, play important roles in CNV instability, which was initially known as DNA recombination events. Furthermore, it has been found that human genomic repeats can also induce DNA replication errors and consequently result in CNV mutations. Some recent studies showed that DNA replication timing, which reflects the high-order information of genomic organization, is involved in human CNV mutations. Our review highlights that genome architecture, from DNA sequence to high-order genomic organization, is an important molecular factor in CNV mutagenesis and human genomic instability.

하드카피 복사방지기법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Anti-copying method for hard copy documents)

  • 본 논문에서는 하드카피 문서에 대한 새로운 재생산 방지 기법을 제안한다. 일반 프린터로 일반 용지에 출력한 원본 하드카피를 칼라 복사기로 복사하거나 스캐너로 스캔하여 다시 출력할 경우 원본 하드카피에 포함된 복사방지 패턴에 특별한 문구 패턴이 나타나 복사본임을 육안으로 구분할 수 있는 기술이다. 이를 위하여 본 논문에서는 하프톤 셀과 스폿을 사용하여 병치 감법혼합으로 농도가 잘 조절된 칼라패턴을 생성한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 하드카피 복사 방지 기법은 기존의 방법에 비해 고해상도 복사 방지 기법으로 유용한 방법이다.

주문 생산형 반도체 장비를 위한 E-BOM 복제 방법의 구현 (Implementation of an E-BOM Copy Method for an Order-specific Semiconductor Equipment)

  • In this paper we propose an engineering bill of materials (E-BOM) copy method that can be utilized to manage the product information for each equipment during building a product lifecycle management (PLM) system in the order-specific semiconductor equipment manufacturer. The previous works studied on an E-BOM creation and management method for the mass manufacturing and production. The method is difficult to apply to an environment in which many engineering changes occur and the different specification to each equipment is required such as semiconductor equipments and facilities adopting built-to-order instead of built for inventory. Moreover the method is known to be the major drawback to deteriorate the design efficiency. Our E-BOM copy method enables users efficiently to manage the specification of a product and shortens the product development cycle. To implement the E-BOM copy method in the PLM environment, we developed the E-BOM copy system that automatically generates new parts and their numbers according to the numbering rule while copying the E-BOM from existing semiconductor equipments and then can apply the parts for reuse to new semiconductor equipments. This system can duplicate not only 3D CAD data but also technical documents.

  • 최근 정보사회의 멀티미디어 디지털 기술은 다양한 저작물의 창작, 전송, 그리고 신속한 대량 유통을 가능하게 할 뿐만 아니라 저작 환경에도 혁신적인 변화를 가져오게 될 것이다. 이러한 발빠른 정보 통신 기술의 변화에 대응하기 위해서는 조속한 저작권 관련법의 현실적 개정이 요구된다. 따라서 저작자와 교육현장의 이용자 모두의 이익에 근접할 수 있는 제도 마련과 기술적인 개발이 이루어지도록 관련 문제점과 국제적인 동향을 제시하고 나아가 멀티미디어자료의 국내 저작권 사용을 위한 대안을 모색하는 것은 중요한 일이다. 이와 더불어 21세기의 요구에 부응할 수 있는 저작권에 대한 일반인의 의식 확대를 위한 교육과 홍보도 정기적이고 지속적으로 행해져야만 할 것이다.

  • 카피 작성의 목적은 발신자와 수신자의 의사 소통에 있다. 의사 소통은 언어를 통해 주로 이루어지고 있으며, 언어는 그 사회의 문화적 특징을 반영한다고 할 수 있다. 또한 언어의 차이는 문화의 차이를 수반한다. 따라서, 광고 카피 또한 이런 문화적 특징을 반영한다면 그 효과가 크다할 수 있다. 본 연구는 광고 카피에 나타난 한국인의 의사 표현에 관한 것이다. 카피는 그 자체가 하나의 의사 표현이며, 의사 표현 유형은 문화와 언어의 차이에 따라 달라진다. 한국인의 의사 표현 유형은 감정적 의사 표현, 외면적 존엄성 표현, 권위주의적 표현, 공동체적 표현, 수동적 의사 표현으로 나눌 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 실제 광고 카피를 분석하여, 카피에 한국인의 의사 표현이 어떻게 표현되었는가를 알아보고, 그 결과를 제시하였다. 또한 더욱 효력 있는 광고를 위해 앞으로의 과제를 제안하였다.

A Survey on Passive Image Copy-Move Forgery Detection

  • With the rapid development of the science and technology, it has been becoming more and more convenient to obtain abundant information via the diverse multimedia medium. However, the contents of the multimedia are easily altered with different editing software, and the authenticity and the integrity of multimedia content are under threat. Forensics technology is developed to solve this problem. We focus on reviewing the blind image forensics technologies for copy-move forgery in this survey. Copy-move forgery is one of the most common manners to manipulate images that usually obscure the objects by flat regions or append the objects within the same image. In this paper, two classical models of copy-move forgery are reviewed, and two frameworks of copy-move forgery detection (CMFD) methods are summarized. Then, massive CMFD methods are mainly divided into two types to retrospect the development process of CMFD technologies, including block-based and keypoint-based. Besides, the performance evaluation criterions and the datasets created for evaluating the performance of CMFD methods are also collected in this review. At last, future research directions and conclusions are given to provide beneficial advice for researchers in this field.

  • In this paper, we propose a machine learning-based copy-move forgery detection network with dual branches. Because the rotation or scaling operation is frequently involved in copy-move forger, the conventional convolutional neural network is not effectively applied in detecting copy-move tampering. Therefore, we divide the input into rotation-invariant and scaling-invariant features based on the wavelet coefficients. Each of the features is input to different branches having the same structure, and is fused in the combination module. Each branch comprises feature extraction, correlation, and mask decoder modules. In the proposed network, VGG16 is used for the feature extraction module. To check similarity of features generated by the feature extraction module, the conventional correlation module used. Finally, the mask decoder model is applied to develop a pixel-level localization map. We perform experiments on test dataset and compare the proposed method with state-of-the-art tampering localization methods. The results demonstrate that the proposed scheme outperforms the existing approaches.

Copy Paper as a Platform for Low-cost Sensitive Glucose Sensing

  • This study reports the potential of using commercial copy papers as substrates for simple sensitive glucose detection. Typical paper-based devices use filter papers as porous substrates that can contain reagents; however, this is the first study to report the use of copy papers for the purpose of enhancing enzymatic colorimetric detection. Glucose detection using glucose oxidase, horseradish peroxidase and potassium iodide was performed on a copy paper, cellulose-based filter paper, and polyethylene film. The results indicated that the copy paper exhibited a stronger coloration than the other substrates. Reagents required for detection were dried on the copy paper, and a 3D-printed holder was designed to provide an environment for consistent imaging, making it a convenient cost-effective option for point-of-care testing using a mobile phone camera. The simple paper-based glucose sensor exhibited a linear range of 0.1-20 mM, limit of quantification of 0.477 mM, and limit of detection of 0.143 mM.
