This paper analyzes the 3D accuracy of stereo images captured from a mobile phone. For 3D accuracy evaluation, we have compared the accuracy result according to the amount of the convergence angle. In order to calculate the 3D model space coordinate of control points, we perform inner orientation, distortion correction and image geometry estimation. And the quantitative 3D accuracy was evaluated by transforming the 3D model space coordinate into the 3D object space coordinate. The result showed that relatively precise 3D information is generated in more than $17^{\circ}$ convergence angle. Consequently, it is necessary to set up stereo model structure consisting adequate convergence angle as an measurement distance and a baseline distance for accurate 3D information generation. It is expected that the result would be used to stereoscopic 3D contents and 3D reconstruction from images captured by a mobile phone camera.

It is crucial to manage and maintain the geodetic reference coordinates of GNSS continuously operating reference stations (CORSs) in consideration of their fundamental roles in geodetic control and positioning navigation infrastructure. Earthquake-induced crustal displacement directly impacts the reference coordinates, so such events should be promptly detected, and appropriate action should be made to maintain the target accuracy, including update of the geodetic coordinates. To this end, this paper deals with online schemes for the detection of persistent shifts in the coordinate time-series produced by an automatic GNSS processing system. Algorithms were implemented to test filtered results, such as hypothesis tests of the innovation sequence of a Kalman filter and a cumulative sum (CUSUM) test. The results were assessed by the time-series of coordinates of 14 CORS for two years, including the 2011 Tohoku earthquake. The results show that the global hypothesis test is practical for detecting abrupt jumps, whereas CUSUM is effective for identifying persistent shifts.
ROCSAT-2 mission is to daily image over Taiwan and the surrounding area for disaster monitoring, land use, and ocean surveillance during the 5-year mission lifetime. The satellite will be launched in December 2003 into its mission orbit, which is selected as a 14 rev/day repetitive Sun-synchronous orbit descending over (120 deg E, 24 deg N) and 9:45 a.m. over the equator with the minimum eccentricity. National Space Program Office (NSPO) is developing a ROCSAT-2 Image Processing System (IPS), which aims to provide real-time high quality image data for ROCSAT-2 mission. A simulated ROCSAT-2 image, based on Level 1B QuickBird Data, is generated for IPS verification. The test image is comprised of one panchromatic data and four multispectral data. The qualification process consists of four procedures: (a) QuickBird image processing, (b) generation of simulated ROCSAT-2 image in Generic Raw Level Data (GERALD) format, (c) ROCSAT-2 image processing, and (d) geometric error analysis. QuickBird standard photogrammetric parameters of a camera that models the imaging and optical system is used to calculate the latitude and longitude of each line and sample. The backward (inverse model) approach is applied to find the relationship between geodetic coordinate system (latitude, longitude) and image coordinate system (line, sample). The bilinear resampling method is used to generate the test image. Ground control points are used to evaluate the error for data processing. The data processing contains various coordinate system transformations using attitude quaternion and orbit elements. Through the qualification test process, it is verified that the IPS is capable of handling high-resolution image data with the accuracy of Level 2 processing within 500 m.

The coordination control of multiple Underactuated Underwater Vehicles (UUVs) moving in three dimensional space is investigated in this paper. The coordinated path following control task is decomposed into two sub tasks, that is, path following control and coordination control. In the spatial curve path following control task, path following error dynamics is build in the Serret-Frenet coordinate frame. The virtual reference object can be chosen freely on the desired spatial path. Considering the speed of the UUV, the line-of-sight navigation is introduced to help the path following errors quickly converge to zero. In the coordination control sub task, the communication topology of multiple UUVs is described by the graph theory. The speed of each UUV is adjusted to achieve the coordination. The path following system and the coordination control system are viewed as the feedback connection system. Input-to-state stable of the coordinated path following system can be proved by small gain theorem. The simulation experiments can further demonstrate the good performance of the control method.

This paper presents the principle, dynamics modeling and control, hardware implementation, and flight test result of a hybrid-type unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The proposed UAV was designed to provide both hovering and fixed-wing type aerodynamic flight modes. The UAV's flight mode transition was achieved through the attitude transformation in pitch axis, which avoids a complex rotor tilt mechanism from a structural and control viewpoint. To achieve this, a different navigation coordinate was introduced that avoids the gimbal lock in pitch singularity point. Attitude and guidance control algorithms were developed for the flight control system. For flight test purposes, a quadrotor attached with a tailless fixed-wing structure was manufactured. An onboard flight control computer was designed to realize the navigation and control algorithms and the UAV's performance was verified through the outdoor flight tests.

KEPCO proposes enhanced voltage management system that is a coordinate voltage control system between the hierarchical voltage control system and the slow voltage control system. It has been installing in Jeju island. VMS consists of a master controller, CVC (Continuous Voltage Controller) and DVC (Discrete Voltage Controller). CVC consists of main controller, FDMU (Field Data Measurement Unit) and several RPDs (Reactive Power Dispatcher). CVC has a control scheme with AVRs of generator to maintain the voltage of a pilot bus in a power system, DVC has a control scheme with static reactive power sources, like a shunt capacitor, a shunt reactor, ULTC and so on, to maintain the reactive power reserve of a power system and a master controller is executed to recover reactive power margin of a power system through coordinated control between CVC and DVC.
In order to realize the multi-objective control of single-input multi-output nonlinear differential algebraic system (NDAS) and to improve the dynamic characteristics and static accuracy, a design method of nonlinear control with multi-objective feedback (NCMOF) is proposed, the principium of this method to arrange system poles, as well as its nature to coordinate dynamic characteristics and static accuracy of the system are analyzed in detail. Through NCMOF design method, the multi-objective control of the system is transformed into linear space, and then it is effectively controlled under the nonlinear feedback control law, the problem to balance all control objectives caused by less input and more output of the system thus is solved. Applying NCMOF design method to generator excitation system, the nonlinear excitation control law with terminal voltage, active power and rotor speed as objective outputs is designed. Simulation results show that NCMOF can not only improve the dynamic characteristics of generator, but also damp the mechanical oscillation of a generator in transient process. Moreover, NCMOF can control the terminal voltage of the generator to the setting value with no static error under typical disturbances.
A method for obtaining optimal orbital maneuvers of a space vehicle has been developed by combining feedback linearization method with the elegance of the Lambert's theorem. To obtain solutions to nonlinear orbital maneuver problems. The full nonlinear equations of motion for space vehicle in polar coordinate system are transformed exactly into a controllable linear set in Brunovsky canonical form by using feedback linearization by choosing position vector as fully observable output vector. These equations are used to pose a linear optimal tracking problem with a solutions to Lambert's problem and a linear analytical solution of continuous low thrust problem as reference trajectories.
The accurate identification of the motor parameters in crucially important to achieve high dynamic performance of induction motors. In this paper parameter auto-tuning algorithms for stator(rotor) resistance stator(rotor) leakage inductance mutual inductance and rotor inertia. Stator(rotor) resistance and stator(rotor) leakage inductance are identified based on the stationary coordinate and mutual inductance and rotor resistor on the scalar speed control and the transient motor terminal voltage. To demonstrate the practical significance of our results we present some experimented results.
In this paper we consider an approach to a formal linearization for time-variant nonlinear systems. A time-variant nonlinear sysetm is assumed to be described by a time-variant nonlinear differential equation. For this system, we introduce a coordinate transformation function which is composed of the Chebyshev polynomials. Using Chebyshev expansion to the state variable and Laguerre expansion to the time variable, the time-variant nonlinear sysetm is transformed into the time-variant linear one with respect to the above transformation function. As an application, we synthesize a time-variant nonlinear observer. Numerical experiments are included to demonstrate the validity of...
