협조제어에 의한 2축 연속 회전시스템의 고정도 위치동기 제어 (Precise Position Synchronous Control of Two Axes Rotating Systems by Cooperative Control)

  • This paper deals with a precise position synchronous control by a cooperative control method of two axes rotating systems. First, the system's dynamics including motor drives described by a motor circuit equation and Newton's kinetic formulation about rotating system. Next, based on conventional PID(Proportional, Integral, Derivative) control law, current and speed controller are designed very simply to follow up reference speed correctly under some disturbances. Also, position synchronous controller designed to minimize position errors according to integration of speed errors between two motors. Then, the proposed control enables the distributed drives by a software control algorithm to behave in a way as if they are mechanically hard coupled in axes. Further, the stabilities and robustness or the proposed system are investigated. Finally, the proposed system presented here is shown to be more precise position synchronous motion than conventional systems through some simulations and experiments.

양팔 로봇의 협조제어를 위한 최적 경로 설계 (Optimal Trajectory Planning for Cooperative Control of Dual-arm Robot)

  • This paper proposes a cooperative control algorithm for a dual-arms robot which is carrying an object to the desired location. When the dual-arms robot is carrying an object from the start to the goal point, the optimal path in terms of safety, energy, and time needs to be selected among the numerous possible paths. In order to quantify the carrying efficiency of dual-arms, DAMM (Dual Arm Manipulability Measure) has been defined and applied for the decision of the optimal path. The DAMM is defined as the intersection of the manipulability ellipsoids of the dual-arms, while the manipulability measure indicates a relationship between the joint velocity and the Cartesian velocity for each arm. The cost function for achieving the optimal path is defined as the summation of the distance to the goal and inverse of this DAMM, which aims to generate the efficient motion to the goal. It is confirmed that the optimal path planning keeps higher manipulability through the short distance path by using computer simulation. To show the effectiveness of this cooperative control algorithm experimentally, a 5-DOF dual-arm robot with distributed controllers for synchronization control has been developed and used for the experiments.

  • 본 논문에서는 다수의 무인항공기가 저속으로 이동하는 지상 목표물을 추적하기 위한 협력제어 기법을 제안한다. 유도명령을 생성하기 위하여 르야프노프 안정성 이론을 이용한 벡터필드를 설계한다. 목표물과 일정한 거리를 유지하며 선회하기 위한 롤각 명령을 생성한다. 이와 동시에 목표물에 대한 항공기의 위상각을 조절하기 위한 속도 명령과 기수각 명령을 생성하고, 항공기 간 충돌방지를 고려한 기법을 제시한다. 다수의 무인항공기를 이용한 수치 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 제안된 제어기법의 성능을 검증하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is manufacturing of monolithic housing for modularization of steering gear. Monolithic housing is difficult to weld with only rotation and linear motion. It is for this reason that housing of joining parts have a slope of 76.3 degrees. For this reason, welding trajectory was measured by the cooperative controled robot system, and then allowing for measured results, we developed the dedicated system. The developed system can be welded by using only 3 axises in contrast with robot system using 8 axises in housing welding. In addition, we applied CMT and laser welding device to dedicated system and as a result of experiment, sound bead and excellent roundness could be obtained.

  • In this study, we tried to investigate the impedance characteristic of human arm in a cooperative task. Human arm was moved in a desired trajectory. The motion was actuated by a 1 degree-of-freedom robot system. As the muscle is mechanically analogous to a spring-damper system, a second-order equation was considered as the model for arm dynamics. In the model, inertia, stiffness and damping factor were considered. The impedance parameter was estimated from the position and torque data obtained from the experiment and based on the "Estimation of Parametric Model". 협동적 CAI에서 소집단 구성 방법의 효과 (The Influences of Group Composition in Cooperative CAI)

  • 이 연구에서는 소집단 구성 방법에 따른 협동적 CAI의 효과를 개념 이해도, 개념 응용력, 과학 학습 동기, 수업 참여도에 대한 인식 측면에서 조사하였다. 서울시의 한 남녀공학 중학교에서 1학년 97명을 선정하고 '분자의 운동'에 대하여 5차시 동안 수업을 실시하였다. 두 처치 집단에서는 사전 과학 청취도를 기준으로 이질적 소집단과 동질적 소집단을 구성하여 협동적 CAI를 실시하였고, 비교 집단에는 전통적인 수업을 실시하였다. 이원 공변량 분석 결과, 처치 집단들의 개념 검사 점수가 비교 집단에 비하여 유의미하게 높았다. 그러나 집단 구성 방법에 따른 차이는 유의미하지 않았다. 개념 응용력 검사와 과학 학습 동기 검사 점수에서는 세 집단 간에 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 그러나 협동적 CAI 집단의 수업 참여도에 대한 인식이 비교 집단에 비하여 더 긍정적이었다.

Cooperative control system of the floating cranes for the dual lifting

  • This paper proposes a dual lifting and its cooperative control system with two different kinds of floating cranes. The Mega-erection and Giga-erection in the ship building are used to handle heavier and wider blocks and modules as ships and off-shore platforms are enlarged. However, there is no equipment to handle such Tera-blocks. In order to overcome the limit on performance of existing floating cranes, the dual lifting is proposed in this research. In the dual lifting, two floating cranes are well-coordinated to add up the lift capabilities of both cranes without any loss such that virtually a single crane is lifting, maneuvering and unloading. Two main constraints for the dual lifting are as follows: First, two barges of floating cranes should be constrained as a rigid body not to cause a relative motion between two barges and main hooks of the two cranes should be controlled as main hooks of a single crane. In order words, it is necessary to develop the cooperative control of two floating cranes in order to sustain a center of gravity of the module and minimize the tilting angle during the lifting and unloading by the two floating cranes. Two floating cranes are handled as a master-slave system. The master crane is able to gather information about all working conditions and make a decision to control the individual hook speed, which communicates the slave crane by TCP/IP. The developed control system has been embedded in the real floating crane systems and the dual lifting has been demonstrated five times at SHI shipyard in 2015. The moving angles of the lifting module are analyzed and verified to be suitable for hoisting control. It is verified that the dual lifting can be applied for many heavier and wider blocks and modules to shorten the construction time of ships and off-shore platforms.

A Study on the Automatic Lane Keeping Control Method of a Vehicle Based upon a Perception Net

  • The objective of this research is to monitor and control the vehicle motion in order to remove out the existing safety risk based upon the human-machine cooperative vehicle control. A new control method is proposed to control the steering wheel of the vehicle to keep the lane. Desired angle of the steering wheel to control the vehicle motion could be calculated based upon vehicle dynamics, current and estimated pose of the vehicle every sample steps.   • We describe about the graphic simulation system which supports the determination of efficient multi-robot motions during cooperation. For the construction of the simulation software for multi-robot motions, two problems are presented. First problem is that all the robot motions must be determinded using both the desired object motions and the holonomic constraints with the object. To find the robot motions combined with the various object motion path, the robot motions are derived from the desired object path instead of a master robot path. Therefore robot motions can be easily modifiable with the various object motions. This type of motion determination is different from that of the master-slaves method using the master robot motions. The other is that the developments of robot application softwares need a heavy cost when the participated robots or the tasks given to the robots are changed. Based on object-oriented programming paradigm, we present useful software objects describing robot application programming environment. The object-oriented programming paradigm increases the software reusability, reliability, and extensibility, and also provides the structual concepts to cope with the various demands of robot application programming.

Effect of Temperature on Photoinduced Reorientation of Azobenzee Chromophore in the Side Chain Copolymers

  • We synthesized the photoresponsive side chain polymers containing aminonitro azobenzene for studying the effect of temperature on photoinduced birefringence. Four different copolymers were prepared using methacrylate, α-methylstyrene, and itaconate monomer. Photoisomerization was observed under the exposure of UV light using UV-VIS absorption spectroscopy. Reorientation of polar azobenzene molecules induced optical anisotropy under a linearly polarized light at 532 nm. The change of the birefringence was observed with increasing the sample temperature under a continuous irradiation of excitation light. We could estimate the activation energy of molecular motion in thermal and photochemical mode. Besides the effect of glass transition temperature on the activation energy, we focused our interests on the effect of geometrical hindrance of polar azobenzene molecules and cooperative motion of environmental mesogenic molecules in the vicinity of polar azobenzene molecules.
