In this paper, we focused on the problem of evaluating multi-class classification accuracy and simulation of multiple classifier performance metrics. Multi-class classifiers for sentiment analysis involved many challenges, whereas previous research narrowed to the binary classification model since it provides higher accuracy when dealing with text data. Thus, we take inspiration from the non-linear Support Vector Machine to modify the algorithm by embedding dynamic hyperplanes representing multiple class labels. Then we analyzed the performance of multi-class classifiers using macro-accuracy, micro-accuracy and several other metrics to justify the significance of our algorithm enhancement. Furthermore, we hybridized Enhanced Convolution Neural Network (ECNN) with Dynamic Support Vector Machine (DSVM) to demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the classifier towards multi-class text data. We performed experiments on three hybrid classifiers, which are ECNN with Binary SVM (ECNN-BSVM), and ECNN with linear Multi-Class SVM (ECNN-MCSVM) and our proposed algorithm (ECNNDSVM). Comparative experiments of hybrid algorithms yielded 85.12 % for single metric accuracy; 86.95 % for multiple metrics on average. As for our modified algorithm of the ECNN-DSVM classifier, we reached 98.29 % micro-accuracy results with an f-score value of 98 % at most. For the future direction of this research, we are aiming for hyperplane optimization analysis.

Hydroelastic interactions of a deformable floating body with random waves are investigated in time domain. Both hydroelastic motion and structural dynamics are solved by expansion of elastic modes and Fourier transform for the random waves. A direct and efficient structural analysis in time domain is developed. In particular, an efficient way of obtaining distributive loads for the hydrodynamic integral terms including convolution integral by using Fubini theory is explained. After confirming correctness of respective loading components, calculations of full distributions of loads in random waves are expedited by reformulating all the body loading terms into distributed forms. The method is validated by extensive convergence tests and comparisons against the counterparts of the frequency-domain analysis. Characteristics of motion/deformation responses and stress resultants are investigated through a parametric study with varying bending rigidity and types of random waves. Relative contributions of componential loads are identified. The consequence of elastic-mode resonance is underscored.
A fluid transient analysis on the Koreasat 1 & 2 pipeline system is conducted through numerical parametric studies in which unsteady friction results are compared with quasi-steady friction results and show relatively accurate prediction of the response curve with the unsteady friction. The code developed and used in this analysis has finished verification through comparing with the original Zielke model, the full and recursive convolution model and quasi-steady model as a reference. The unsteady friction is calculated by the recursive convolution Zielke model in which a complete evolution history of velocity field is no longer required so that it makes the fluid transient analysis on the complicated system possible. The results show that the application of quasi-steady friction to model cannot predict the entire response curve properly except the first peak amplitude but the application of unsteady friction to model can predict reasonably the response curve, therefore it is to know the characteristics of the propulsion system.

Nonlinear analysis methods are developed which will enable the reliable prediction of the dynamic behavior of the space shuttle main engine(SSME) turbopumps in the presence of bearing clearances and other local nonlinearities. A computationally efficient convolution method, based on discretized Duhamel and transition matrix integral formulations, is developed for the transient analysis. In the formulation, the coupling forces due to the onlinearities are treated as external forces acting on the coupled subsystems. Iteration is utilized to determine their magnitudes at each time increament. The method is applied to a nonlinear generic model of the high pressure oxygen turthods, the convolution approach proved to be more accurate and highly more efficient. For determining the nonlinear, steady-state periodic responses, an incremental harmonic balance(IHB) method was also developed. The method was successfully used to determine dominantly harmonic and subharmonic(subsynchronous) responses of the HPOTP generic model with bearing clearances. A reduction method similar to the impedance formulation utilized with linear systems is used to reduce the housing-totor models to their coordinates at the bearing clearances.
In this paper, the proposed scheme is STBC(space-time block codes) system combined with convolution code which is the most popular channel coding to ensure the reliability of data transmission for a high data rate wireless communication. The STBC is one of MIMO(multi-input multi-output) techniques. In addition, this scheme uses a modified viterbi algorithm in order to get a high system gain when data is transmitted. Because we combine STBC and convolution code, the proposed scheme has a little high quantity of computation but it can get a maximal diversity gain of STBC and a high coding gain of convolution code at the same time. Unlike existing viterbi docoding algorithm using Hamming distance in order to calculate branch matrix, the modified viterbi algorithm uses Euclidean distance value between received symbol and reference symbol. Simulation results show that the modified viterbi algorithm improved gain 7.5 dB on STBC 2Tx-2Rx at $BER=10^{-2}$. Therefore the proposed scheme using STBC combined with convolution code can improve the transmission reliability and transmission efficiency.

In this paper, we experimented to find out how the number of convolution layers, the size, and the number of kernels affect the CNN. In addition, the general CNN was also tested for analysis and compared with the CNN used in the experiment. The neural networks used for the analysis are based on CNN, and each experimental model is experimented with the number of layers, the size, and the number of kernels at a constant value. All experiments were conducted using two layers of fully connected layers as a fixed. All other variables were tested with the same value. As the result of the analysis, when the number of layers is small, the data variance value is small regardless of the size and number of kernels, showing a solid accuracy. As the number of layers increases, the accuracy increases, but from above a certain number, the accuracy decreases, and the variance value also increases, resulting in a large accuracy deviation. The number of kernels had a greater effect on learning speed than other variables.

The presence of voids under pavements or behind tunnel linings results in the deterioration. One method of detecting such voids by non-destructive means is radar. This research is devoted to quantitatively evaluating the efficiency of such non-destructive tests with radar. As a foundation to this ongoing research, which aims to estimate the thickness of voids using radar, an analysis method based on radar signal processing using convolution technique is carried out with various void thicknesses in embedded layer which has different electromagnetic properties. The computed results were verified by comparing the test results. As a result, a proposed method in this study has a possibilty of estimating the thickness of voids with good accuracy.
