A Study on 3D Virtual Clothing Fashion Design Applying Frank Stella Painting

  • This study aimed to develop a modern textile design based on the formability of Frank Stella's paintings and to develop and present a fashion design that combines modern sensibility as a 3D virtual clothing program. The formative characteristics of Frank Stella's work were 'unity due to regular stripes', 'asymmetry due to geometric surface division', and 'decorabilitydue to colorful use'. Based on this, costume patterns and textiles based on Frank Stella's paintings were developed and six 3D virtual fashion design works were produced. The conclusion was as follows. First, it was confirmed that Frank Stella's work has a very wide range of applications to fashion products as abstract expression and minimal simplicity coexist visually. Second, various colors and forms of Frank Stella's paintings could be developed using textiles with visual formability, and originality as a fashion work applied with paintings could be maximized. Third, the development of 3D fashion using virtual programs had the ease of time efficiency, cost reduction, and spatiotemporal expansion of work processing compared to the actual costume production process. In addition, the simulation of 3D virtual wear made it easy to modify and recover the position of the textile to be applied to the costume and create a new design in the process of transforming the position of various textiles. It is expected that this study results will be used as basic data for the future conversion content industry in the painting and fashion industries.

  • The supply for the apartment complex in Korea has been accomplished by the sale before building system as a way of institutional means to support massive housing supply in the past. Although this sale before building system has helped the provision of the housing, the necessity of that has been weakened in the current housing market. As this market is changed to emphasize on consumer, the necessity of conversion to sale after building system was raised and finally enforced partially. However, the sale after building system has difficulty in ensuring construction fund and the safety of housing business. So, the diversification in the style of business structure we and the strategy for the activation of construction fund will solve these problems. Consequently, this essay examine the change and influence in the construction fund after adopting sale after building system and suggest the appropriate strategy in project financing for providing fund and reducing the risk in construction business.

  • Most countries that use a Value Added Tax(VAT) have exception for special cases with small enterprises who lack the ability to adapt in tax laws. VAT has been the most important tax. The simplified taxation system under VAT was introduced for small business taxpayers to perform tax liability easily and for government and taxpayers to get administrative efficiency by using a simple procedure. The present thesis suggests the conversion of simplified taxation system into general taxation as its improvement plan. That is, to abolish simplified taxation system, to convert it into general taxation and to apply the same tax base. The principle of fair taxation is not only important to realize tax justice, but also the principle of administrative efficiency important to increase the level of convenience for small enterprise taxpayers and efficiency for tax authorities.

  • Recently The public project ordering in local autonumous entities is a tendency increasing of CM service because of the visible and affirmative effect in the CM which is advanced meanwhile. And, the CM services of project all phase excepts a planning business are performed. To develop CM must be prepared the system plans concerned with the CM application from planning phase, actuality maintenance of CM fee-estimation standard, understanding conversion of participation subjects, the specialization through certification of CM qualification, etc. But, unexpected actuality the problems occurs when the CM business is performing. The purpose of this study are to present the solution to the problems concerned with the design management, design phase VE, additional business by owner, schedule control and establish the plan to perform CM services efficiently in the public sector through analyzing the case of CM application in Susung Culture & Art Center.

Evaluation of stress distribution with wind speed in a greenhouse structure

  • In this paper, stress distribution for a structurally stable greenhouse is considered in the present paper with subsequent investigation into the detailed stress distribution contour with the variation of self-weight and wind pressure level designation method under wind velocity of less than 30 m/sec. For reliable analysis, wind pressure coefficients of a single greenhouse unit were modeled and compared with experiment with correlation coefficient greater than 0.99. Wind load level was designated twofold: direct mapping of fluid dynamic analysis and conversion of modeled results into wind pressure coefficients ($C_P$). Finally, design criteria of EN1991-1-4 and NEN3859 were applied in terms of their wind pressure coefficients for comparison. $C_P$ of CFD result was low in the most of the modeled area but was high only in the first roof wind facing and the last lee facing areas. Besides, structural analysis results were similar in terms of stress distribution as per EN and direct mapping while NEN revealed higher level of stress for the last roof area. The maximum stress levels are arranged in decreasing order of mapping, EN, and NEN, generating 8% error observed between the EN and mapping results under 30 m/sec of wind velocity. On the other hand, effect of dead weight on the stress distribution was investigated via variation of high stress position with wind velocity, confirming shift of such position from the center to the forward head wind direction. The sensitivity of stress for wind velocity was less than 0.8% and negligible at wind velocity greater than 20 m/sec, thus eliminating self-weight effect.

  • The aim of this study was to analyze the perceptions and entering status of small business online fashion retailers on portal shopping and fashion shopping malls. Case studies were conducted on a total of 10 research samples. The results were as follows: first, regarding the strategic factors of online fashion stores, 'price competitiveness' is important, especially in portal shopping and low-cost brands; 'product assortment' is important but not essential in all platforms; and 'differentiation' is important to continuously secure loyal customers in fashion shopping malls. Customer satisfaction leads to customer loyalty, and customer loyalty affects the sales conversion rate and brand growth of online sales channels. Factors that promoted sales activities in online sales channels were exposure, advertisements, SNS, events, special exhibitions, and events. Hindrance factors were low price competition, overheated competition, and the MD of sales channels. Second, the research samples used multiple online sales channels, including portal shopping malls and fashion shopping malls, in addition to their own malls. The selection factors were platform reputation and commission, branding, and customer inflow through exposure. Portal shopping malls were perceived as providing easy access, advertising/customer communication, exposure/search, price competitiveness, scalability, and intense competition, whereas fashion shopping malls were perceived as providing a brand image and concept, brand promotion, high commissions, difficult entry, and low profits. The factors for success in portal shopping malls were exposure/search, price competitiveness, and brand recognition, whereas the factors for success in fashion shopping malls were differentiation, brand, exposure/advertisement, product assortment, and MD.

  • This study is investigated the formative characteristics of Rap Music and Hiphop fashion, and I try to comprehend about the fashion mind and fashion culture of teenager 1. Teenager's Hiphop Fashion is subcultures, the fashion culture of teenager reflects their unique identity. 2. The formative characters of Rap Music and Hiphop Fashion are the incompatibility ignored their body size and the popularity caused street fashion imitation, the unbalance ignored a principle of fashion design. 3. Hiphop Fashion is consist of jump-style jacket, hood -shirt, stripe T-shirt and drum pants, baggy pants, snowboard pants and so on. 4. The characters of Hiphop Fashion is the breaking of rule and the destruction. 5. They select something which they like, even though the price is high, so they is tendency to editing coordinate 6. Fashion business for teenager, it needs an ideal conversion not for 'company' but for 'individual' As this results, fashion culture of teenager came out to the surface of water, because of Hiphop Fashion.

Analysis of the Virtual Power Plant Model Based on the Use of Emergency Generators in South Korea

  • This study analyzes the economic efficiency of the virtual power plant (VPP) model that aims to integrate a number of emergency generators installed at the consumer end and operate them as a single power plant. Several factors such as the demand response benefits from VPP operation and costs incurred for converting emergency generators into VPP are considered to assess the economic efficiency of the proposed VPP model. Scenarios for yearly VPP conversion are prepared based on the installed capacities of the emergency generators distributed in South Korea, while the costs and benefits are calculated from the viewpoints of participants and power companies in accordance with California Test Methods. Furthermore, a sensitivity analysis is conducted on the cost factors among those affecting the economic efficiency of VPP business because these two factors have a great impact on benefits.

  • We could confirm through this study that in the company which has secured its agility in an information technology dimension, a process dimension and an organization behavior dimension as a real time enterprise, various agility competences of that company are used more effectively for productivity Improvement, development on new products and customer satisfaction. Therefore, based on these determinant factors, it has been proved that an individually differentiated investment of technical and organizational resources for development and innovation of new products has contributed affirmatively to get a more efficient enterprise performance : and, in this point, it is verified again that the agility secured through a conversion toward the real time enterprise (RTE) is a more effective plan to increase the enterprise performance.

  • Recently, because a renewable power source must operate as a constant rate in accordance with RPS(Renewable Portfolio Standard), the study of the renewable power sources has been ongoing. Especially because of noise of wind turbine, troubleshooting, and urban greening business, research related with small wind turbine are underway. The economics and reliability are important parts for the activation of small wind turbine, such as solar energy. In this paper, by analyzing the temperature variations for each location and efficiency of power conversion devices in accordance with short period wind speed changes in simulation test, we reviewed the safety about temperature variations of wind generator and the method of selection of power converter.
