The Relationship between Internal Marketing and Service Quality (외식 업체 내부 마케팅이 서비스 품질에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증적 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to figure out how factors of internal marketing affect service quality. Method of human resource could be indicated to bear fruit of food-industry based on this research. This study conducted documentary study and empirical study. To achieve the purpose, a survey was conducted by 229 staffs of family restaurants in Daegu. The result of this research is as follows. First, the properties of each factor of internal marketing, Service Quality and staff's behavior were extracted from the previous studies. Second, internal marketing was applied as a independent variable, and service Quality as a consequent variable. The result reached through convergent validity came to satisfy all variables. Third, it was strongly maintained the fact that the better internal marketing was applied, the more staff were satisfied and the higher service quality was. It was shown that staffs provided customers with a good service if they were satisfied with internal marketing and their companies.

  • Total synthesis of (${\pm}$)-licochalcone E (1), an allyl retrochalcone isolated from roots of Glycyrrhiza inflata, has been achieved from 4-tetrahydropyranyloxyacetophenone (7) with (E)-2-methoxy-4-(2-methyl-2-butenyloxy)benzaldehyde (6) or (Z)-2-methoxy-4-(2-methyl-2-butenyloxy)-benzaldehyde (11) through a convergent strategy involving aldol condensation and Claisen rearrangement as key steps.

  • Digital all-optical parallel computing is an important research direction and spans conventional devices and convergent nano-optics deployments. Optical bus-based interconnects provide interesting aspects such as relative information communication speed-up or slow-down between optical signals. This aspect is harnessed in the newly proposed All-Optical Linear Array with a Reconfigurable Pipelined Bus System (OLARPBS) model. However, the physical realization of such communication interconnects needs to be considered. This paper considers spatial layouts of processing elements along with the optical bus light paths that are necessary to realize the corresponding interconnection requirements. A metric in terms of the degree of required physical constraint is developed to characterize the variety of possible solutions. Simple algorithms that determine spatial layouts are given. It is shown that certain communication interconnection structures have associated intrinsic topologies.

  • 프로그램 실행 시 동화(텍스트)를 읽을 수 있게 하는 입력 파일을 받을 수 있게 만든다. 이렇게 받은 텍스트를 프로그램이 읽어 들여 알고리즘으로 대입한다. 알고리즘은 읽은 텍스트 중에 중요 단어를 뽑아내어 DB에 이에 알맞은 삽화를 요청하게 된다. 요청을 받은 데이터베이스는 다시 프로그램에 이미지를 보내주고, 프로그램은 이 삽화를 그 텍스트에 출력시키게 된다. 이 과정이 한 페이지를 만드는 과정이며, 원하지 않는 페이지는 건너 뛸 수 있게 한다. 이러한 작업을 반복하여 새로운 책 한권이 완성이 된다.

Ability and Creativity : Their Role in Science and Technology

  • In addition to exceptional abilities and domain-specific aptitudes, frequently creativity potentials are used to explain high achievements in science and technology. In the Guilford tradition, research focuses increasingly on convergent versus divergent thinking, that is, a suspected dichotomy between intelligence and creativity. Despite important insights from this about relationship of ability and creativity, a number of important questions remain unanswered. These relate not only to conceptualization and measurement problems regarding the hypothetical constructs "scientific ability" and "creativity", but also their diagnosis and nurturance in childhood and adolescence. It would appear that, in view of current research paradigms, the role of ability and creativity needs to be redefinded in order to more reliably predict and explain excellent achievements in science and technology. Advances are mostly expected from synthetic approaches. Thus, I will be presenting new theoretical models and empirical research results. Finally, consequences for the prediction and promotion of mathematical-scientific and technical talents will be discussed including the consideration of sex-related problems.

Perception and Implication on Excellent Student and Innovative Graduate Education in the Filed of Science and Engineering (이공계 대학원 인재상과 교육혁신 방향에 대한 대학 구성원의 인식과 시사점: A연구중심대학 사례)

  • This study examined the direction that desirable educational direction of science and engineering graduate schools. In order to achieve the purpose, in-depth interviews were conducted with faculty, staffs and students of 'A' science and engineering research-oriented university. As a result of the study, first, independent researchers with international competitiveness, second, intellectuals who fulfill social responsibilities, convergent leaders across various boundaries of knowledge, and fourth, passionate people with a sense of challenge. Conclusions were made on enhancing the competitiveness of higher education and innovating graduate education in South Korea based on research findings.

Research trends of bilingual education for children from multicultural families : focused on foreigner parent's language education (국내 다문화가정 자녀를 위한 이중언어교육 연구동향 -이주부모나라 언어교육을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze research trends of bilingual education which are focused on foreigner parent's language education for children from multicultural families in South Korea. After searching, total 36 research papers were selected and analyzed. Results from this study showed that, (1) relevant researches started from 2009, later then the number of researches kept about 4-6 yearly and reached the peak of 11 (31%) in 2004; (2) a large majority (75%) of the analyzed researches published in the magazines relative to a field of language education or children education; (3) diverse research methods were employed, and the number of researches applied on qualitative research methods is similar with on quantitative ; (4) the researches mainly studied on the members of multicultural families (67%), and 10 analyzed researches investigated parents and children together 28%, and 9 targeted on parents or one of them (25%), and 5 just on the children from multicultural families (14%). and, (5) The research topics mainly divided into four fields current bilingual education programs (31%), bilingual education (31%), interaction related to bilingual education (22%), suggestion on policy improvement(17%). Based on the results, discussions and implications for further research and practice on bilingual education and foreigner parent's language education will be provided.

  • With the growth of Chinese manufacturing industry and strengthening of manufacturing industry in advanced countries, the competitiveness of Korean manufacturing industry has become weak. Accordingly, it is time when energy for new growth is required very strongly. This research is the basic research to construct a cognitive and emotional information system to support sound design in manufacturing industry, and aims to develop AUI (Auditory User Interface) guideline. To fulfill research aims, this research conducted interviews to persons belonging to the manufacturing industry, and analyzed contexts and major characteristics related with AUI design. In addition, this research conducted survey on 269 persons on user preference on representative function of products. By analyzing survey data, this research examined the most suitable melody method for each sound, and difference in user preference between men and women. Based on beep sound, it performed analysis focusing on the number of sounds, melody types, and code. It also extracted AUI guidelines usable when users of the product into male and female. This research has significance in the sense that it built the basic guide data which can support AUI design in manufacturing industry.

An Interactive Method between HSE System and Wearable Components through Analysis on Risk Scenarios (위험 시나리오 분석을 통한 스마트 HSE 시스템 및 웨어러블 컴포넌트 연동방안)

  • The development of modern technology has rapidly grown the field of wearable devices. Wearable equipments should satisfy low power consumption and small/lightweight because of characteristics of body wearing. In this paper, an overview of wearable equipments is explained, and wearable device market is investigated. In addition, we investigate developed technology of wearable components, which is divided into component and communication technology. Meanwhile, a smart HSE system is required to meet the demand of the society for the serious industrial accident. To address this issue, we propose an interactive method between the wearable component and the HSE system, which are expected to be effective in safety management. As a detailed case study, a risk scenario is made with risk factors in welding workshop, and then we propose an interactive method between a wearable component and an HSE system that can reduce the risk. This proposed method is useful to achieve high level of worker's safety.

HSE System Safety Management Using Wearable Based on Accident Scenario of High Place Work (고소작업 사고 시나리오 기반 웨어러블 응용 HSE 시스템 안전관리 방안)

  • This paper proposes a safety management method that extracts ETA (event tree analysis) based scenario and combines ICT technology to reduce serious disasters occurring workplace for shipbuilding and offshore plant. The statistics of Safety and Health Agency and (previous)Ministry of Public Safety and Security show that the most frequent accident among the serious disasters related to shipbuilding and offshore plant is falling. The main cause of accidents is absence of a safety belt and safety belt ring. To solve these problems, we create ETA based scenarios to derive results based on safety considerations. Based on these results, we propose a solution by applying ICT technology for accident prevention. Deriving ETA based scenarios and ICT technology, the proposed solutions include a system for detecting the wearing of safety belts and safety helmets, a system for detecting whether or not the safety belts are connected, and a hook system for measuring safety distances. These safety related systems can reduce the probability of death of workers. By preventing accidents using the proposed method, we can reduce serious disasters in shipbuilding and offshore plant and establish systematic safety management.
