음향 반향 제거기의 수렴속도 개선에 대한 연구 (Study on Improvement of Convergence Rate of Acoustic Echo Canceller)

  • 적응형 반향제거기는 스피커폰, 3G 화상전화와 VoIP 서비스 시스템과 같은 응용분야에 필수적인 요소이다. 일반적인 반향제거기들은 반향을 제거하기 위해서 매우 많은 탭을 필요한다. 이들 탭수의 증가는 계산량을 증가시키고 수렴속도를 떨어뜨리는 원인이 된다. 이러한 단점들을 극복하기 위해서, 본 논문에서는 수렴속도를 개선할 수 있는 적응형 반향제거기를 제안한다. 본 논문에서 수렴속도를 개선하기 위해서 반향대역을 부대역으로 구분하고 각 부대역에 적용형 필터링을 적용한다. 각 부대역 필터는 부대역 반향 신호로써 반향신호를 인식하게 되고 따라서 동적인 부대역이 적게 되어 수렴속도를 빠르게 한다. 게다가 탭수와 가중치 갱신이 각 부대역에서 산출되므로 각 적응 필터의 구현상 복잡성을 감소시킨다.

이종 주조알루미늄-고장력강의 겹치기 마찰교반접합에서 툴회전속도에 따른 기계적 특성평가 (Evaluation of Mechanical Properties with Tool Rotational Speed in Dissimilar Cast Aluminum and High-Strength Steel of Lap Jointed Friction Stir Welding)

  • Recently, friction stir welding of dissimilar materials are one of the biggest issues in terms of light-weight and eco-friendly technology of the automotive, aircraft and ship industry. In this study, friction stir welding of dissimilar materials is introduced with different tool rotational speed. Materials used in experimentation consist of A357 gravity cast aluminum alloy and FB590 high-strength steel plates. Dissimilar materials of plate type are fabricated with width of 150mm, length of 300mm and thickness of 3mm and welding is carried out by the lap joint method. The correlation between probe length and mechanical properties were investigated according to rotational speed and welding speed at tool tilt angle 0 degree. Consequently, feasibility of FSWed dissimilar materials were successfully presented in case of cast aluminum and high-strength steel at lap joint method.

비선형 시스템에 적용가능한 피드백 사용형 2차 반복 학습제어 알고리즘 (A Second-Order Iterative Learning Algorithm with Feedback Applicable to Nonlinear Systems)

  • In this paper a second-order iterative learning control algorithm with feedback is proposed for the trajectory-tracking control of nonlinear dynamic systems with unidentified parameters. In contrast to other known methods, the proposed teaming control scheme utilize more than one past error history contained in the trajectories generated at prior iterations, and a feedback term is added in the learning control scheme for the enhancement of convergence speed and robustness to disturbances or system parameter variations. The convergence proof of the proposed algorithm is given in detail, and the sufficient condition for the convergence of the algorithm is provided. We also discuss the convergence performance of the algorithm when the initial condition at the beginning of each iteration differs from the previous value of the initial condition. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is shown by computer simulation result. It is shown that, by adding a feedback term in teaming control algorithm, convergence speed, robustness to disturbances and robustness to unmatched initial conditions can be improved.

  • 적응 필터의 입력 신호의 상관도 (correlation)가 클 경우 LMS 알고리즘의 수렴 속도는 상당히 느려지게 된다. 본 논문에서는 입력 신호의 상관도가 높은 상황에서 수렴 속도를 향상시킬 수 있는 적응 필터링 알고리즘을 제안한다. 입력 신호에 대하여 직교성을 가지도록 변환을 인위적으로 가하여 LMS 알고리즘의 한계를 극복한다. 제안한 알고리즘의 성능 향상은 시스템식별 모델을 통하여 그 수렴 속도의 개선을 확인하며 또한 시변 환경 하에서 적응 필터의 시변 추적 능력을 통해 보여 진다.

저속영역에서 속도검출기가 없는 유도전동기의 강인성 적응제어 시스템 (Robust Adaptive Control System for Induction Motor Drive Without Speed Sensor at Low Speed)

  • The paper describes a robust adaptive control algorithm for induction motor drive without speed sensor at low speed range. The control algorithm use only current sensors in a space vector pulse width modulation within loop control with rotor speed estimation and voltage source inverter. On-line rotor speed estimation is based on utilizing parallel model reference adaptive control system. MRAC of the modified flux model for flux and rotor speed estimator uses dual-adaptation mechanism, ${\omega}_r$ and ${\omega}_e$ scheme. The estimated flux components in the model can be compensated from the effects of offset errors on pure integrals. It can be compensated to the parameter variations and torque fluctuation with speed estimation in less then 10 rad/sec. In a simulation, the proposed induction motor control algorithm without speed sensor at very low speed range are shown to operate very well in spite of variable rotor time constant and fluctuating load without change the controller parameters. The suggested control strategy and estimation method have been validated by simulation study, and it proposed the designed system for the implementation using TI320C31 DSP/ASIC controller.

The Relationship Between Monetary and Macroprudential Policies

  • This paper analyzes the interaction between monetary and macroprudential policies mainly in the context of the non-cooperation among policy authorities. Each policy authority's optimal response is to tighten its policy measures when other authorities' policy measures are loosened. This indicates that the two policies are substitutes for each other. This result still holds when an additional financial stability mandate is assigned to the central bank. The condition for the response functions to converge to a Nash equilibrium state is analyzed along with the speed of convergence, showing that they depend on the authorities' preferences and the number of mandates assigned to policy authorities. If the financial supervisory authority (FSA) assigns greater importance to the output gap or a stronger financial stability mandate is assigned to the central bank (CB), the probability of non-convergence increases and the speed of convergence declines even when the condition of convergence is satisfied. Meanwhile, if the CB considers output stability as an important task, the probability of convergence and the speed of converging to a state of equilibrium are high. Finally, when a single mandate or small number of mandates is/are assigned to each authority, stability is more quickly restored as compared to when many mandates are assigned.

  • 고효율 변조기법 (16 QAM or 64QAM)이 비선형 고전력 증폭기 (High-Power Amplifier; HPA)를 사용하는 통신시스템에 적용되었을 때 비선형 왜곡에 의해 성능저하가 발생할 수 있다. 이런 비선형 왜곡은 수신부에서 복잡도가 낮은 LMS 알고리즘을 적용한 적응적 비선형 Volterra 등화기를 사용하여 보상할 수 있지만, 매우 느린 수렴 속도를 가지는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 수렴 속도를 향상시키기 위한 병렬 M대역 이산 웨이블릿 변환영역 LMS (Parallel M-band Discrete Wavelet Transform Least Mean Square) 알고리즘을 제안한다. 모의실험을 통하여 제안된 기법이 기존의 시간 영역 LMS 알고리즘과 변환 영역 LMS 알고리즘들에 비해 수렴 속도가 우수함을 보여준다.

확장 작업업영역을 갖는 고속 3자유도 하이브리드 로봇 개발 (Development of a Novel 3-DOF Hybrid Robot with Enlarged Workspace)

  • In this paper, a novel 3-DOF hybrid robot with enlarged workspace is presented for high speed applications. The 3-DOF hybrid robot is made up of one linear actuator and 2-DOF planar parallel robot in series. The actuation consists of one ball-screw to make one linear motion and two rotary ball-screws to transmit rotational motion to 2-DOF parallel robot. The workspace can be enlarged according to ball-screw stroke and the moving inertia can be reduced due to locating all the heavy actuators at the fixed base. The inverse kinematics and workspace analyses are presented. The robot prototype and PC-based control system are developed.

  • In active noise control filter, LMS algorithms which used for control filter, assure the convergence property, and computational burden of these algorithms are proportionate to the filter taps. The convergence speed of LMS algorithms is mainly determined by value of the convergence coefficient, so optimal selection of the value of convergence coefficient is very important. In this paper, We proposed novel adaptive fuzzy logic LMS algorithms with FIR filter structure which has better convergence speed and less computational burden than conventional LMS algorithms, for single channel active noise control with ill conditioned signal case. Computer simulations were performed to show the effectiveness of a proposed algorithms.

저속 압축성 유동에서 예조건화 방법을 이용한 수렴성 증진에 대한 연구 (A Study of Convergence Enhancement Using Preconditioning Methods at Two Dimensional Compressible Low Speed Flows)

  • It is well known that preconditioning methods are efficient for convergence acceleration at compressible low Mach number flows. In this study, the original Euler equations and three preconditioners nondimensionalized differently are implemented in two dimensional inviscid bump flows using the 3rd order MUSCL and DADI schemes as flux discretization and time integration respectively. The multigrid and local time stepping methods are also used to accelerate the convergence. The test case indicates that a properly modified local preconditioning technique involving concepts of a global preconditioning one produces Mach number independent convergence. Besides, an asymptotic analysis for properties of preconditioning methods is added.
