  • External linkage type spine motion analyzer was developed for measuring relative trunk motion respect to the pelvis. A special program for calculation of the relative angular motion and graphical display were also developed. The developed device assured its accuracy and conveniency after application to 15 normal volunteers and 18 patients after fixation and decompression surgery. Compare to the normal subjects, patients shows different angular motion especially in the angular acceleration.

  • Recently ontology has been an attractive technology along with the business strategy of providing a plenty of more intelligent services. The essential problem in application domains using ontology is that all members, agents, and application programs in the domains must share the same ontology concepts. However, a variety of mobile devices, sensing devices, and network components manufactured by various companies, a variety of common carriers, and a variety of contents providers make multiple heterogeneous ontologies more likely to coexist. We can see many past researches fallen into resolving this semantic interoperability. Such methods can be broadly classified into by-mapping, by-merging, and by-translation. In this research, we focus on by-translation among them which uses a translation rule directly made between two heterogeneous ontology data like OntoMorph. However, the manual composition of the direct translation rule is not convenient by itself and if there are N ontologies, the direct method has the rule composition complexity of $O(N^2)$ in the worst case. Therefore, in this paper we introduce the cascade composition of translation rules based on web openness in order to improve the complexity. The research result made us recognize some important factors in an ontology translation system, that is speediness of translation, and conveniency of translation rule composition, and some experiments and comparing analysis with existing methods showed that our cascade method has more conveniency with insuring the speediness and the correctness.

  • This paper proposes an efficient integration method for GPS (Global Positioning System) and INS (Inertial Navigation System). To obtain accuracy and computational conveniency at the same time with low cost global positioning system receivers and micro mechanical inertial sensors, a new mechanization method and a new filter architecture are proposed. The proposed mechanization method simplifies velocity and attitude computation by eliminating the need to compute complex transport rate related to the locally-level frame which continuously changes due to unpredictable vehicle motions. The proposed filter architecture adopts two heterogeneous filters, i.e. position-domain Hatch filter and velocity-aided Kalman filter. Due to distict characteristics of the two filters and the distribution of computation into the two hetegrogeneous filters, it eliminates the cascaded filter problem of the conventional loosly-coupled integration method and mitigates the computational burden of the conventional tightly-coupled integration method. An experiment result with field-collected measurements verifies the feasibility of the proposed method.

  • In the favor of adjusting microwave signal, Hairpin type Filter, which delay microwave signal enough to several nanosecond, is a key component. One of the main advantage in using Hairpin type Filter is a conveniency for equipping with Delay Module, and because of having a wide bandwidth, Hairpin type Filter can be designed to satisfy the most applications. In this work, we attempted to estimate the delay time in a superconductive hairpin type filter A software to synthesize even and odd order equiripple hairpin type filter has been developed. This software arbitrarily locate its transfer zeros making symmetric of asymmetric amplitude response and equalizing group delay. Borland C++ compiler has been used. The program was designed to run under MS-DOS, Window 98, Window 2000. The program optimizes the position of the transfer function zeros in order to fulfill the group delay specification masks. We designed and fabricated a hairpin type HTS 2-pole microstrip bandpass filter to operate at 5.8Ghz. The fabrication method was pulsed laser deposition and YBCO films were deposited on sapphire substrates with a Ce$O_{2}$ thin layer as a buffer layer. We also developed a new style hairpin type filter by using interdigitide inner-pole. Compared to the same size regular hairpin type filters, our filters had a lower center frequency.

  • The research goals of this study using the wind by car as replaceable energy are summarized to three things as follows. The first goal is to secure a replaceable energy source of environmental conveniency through the wind power system by the wind by car. The second goal is to develop a educational program for related convergence professional man. The third goal is to make a wind power system for a replaceable energy education. We have performed for obtaining a research goal during six months. So, we concluded three results as follows. The system for doing a wind by car is modeled. New convergence educational program for department of electrical, electronic, mechanical engineering is developed under this system. And, the wind power system is produced for practice education of demonstration for replaceable energy.

  • NCOs of the amy-navy-air force are the foundation in maintaining, developing and leading the army making manpower aquisition very important. Currently, the operation or the recruitment business is being overlapped by each training institutions leading to uneffectively decreasing the curiosities of the applicants regarding their future. Even though the NCO selection policy is strong in the aspect of retaining uniqueness, use of acquired specialist, and statute revision, it is showing insufficiency in publicizing, selection effectiveness, promotion of peoples' conveniency, and budget reduction. Therefore, if the unification regarding the recruitment of each military sectors are run by the MMA(Military Manpower Administration), which is the institute that is fully responsible for the recruitment duty, it can acquire excellent man power while decreasing effort and resources, provide accurate information to the NCO applicants on time, and provide improved services through the convenient facilities and systems.

  • This study was to explore the relationships between convention mobile applications, and convention participants' satisfaction and loyalty. Recently mobile applications by using smart-phone have been utilized to provide relevant information and contents, Similarly, convention industry utilize mobile application to provide convention program, speakers, and other information and contents, However, only few research has been conducted to investigate convention mobile application characteristics and benefits. This study provides the results of convention mobile application characteristics and its impacts on participants' satisfaction and loyalty. Among convention mobile application characteristics, conveniency and information are important factors to enhance convention participants' satisfaction and loyalty. More discussion and implication is provided in the conclusion section.

  • Recently, with the development of mobile techniques and the consideration to conveniency of using, the research on Mobile RFID Reader technique is getting more and more attentions. Until now, all security authentication algorithms of RFID are algorithms about range between Tag and Reader. The range between Reader and backend DB is composed by wired networks, so it's supposed to be secure range. But it must be taken account of the problem of information security and privacy in wireless range during the design of Mobile RFID Reader. In this paper we design an blind signature scheme based on weil-paring finite group's ECC encryption scheme, and by using this blind signature we propose the anonymous authorization scheme to Mobile RFID Reader's users.

  • This study is to clarify the concept of \"Americanization\" among korean modern clothing culture by investigating magazines from 1920s to 1930s. The Americanization of modern clothing culture can be divided to New fashion, Sports-wear, and Cloth improvement. 1. New fashion, Western culture was the main stream of new fashion, and modern boys and girls could bear cultural privileged consciousness. And the spread of modern culture was so fast that exaggerated fashional preference provoked extravagancy and loss of individuality. 2. Sports-wear. Under the rule of Japanese imperialism, initial sports activity was encouraged to regulate colony by principle and order. Through the sports-wear, practicality of clothing, exposure of female body, and the concept of T.P.O.(Time, place, occasion) were introduced. 3. Cloth improvement. The capitalism and modern concept of \"time\" were introduced and promoted maximum productivity. And to increase productivity, imperialist educated conveniency of western clothes and inconveniency of traditional Korean clothes. These could affect Koreans to think themselves a sense of inferiority(uncivilized complex).ncivilized complex).

A Study on Restaurant Envirionment and Crowding in Foodservice Company (외식기업의 레스토랑 환경과 혼잡지각에 관한 연구)

  • This study was conducted during a period from July 4 to 30 to investigate the effect of restaurant environment upon customer's satisfaction and crowdedness awareness. Total 800sets of questionnaire were distributed among major food service corporations. They were 16 restaurants from McDonald, Burger King, Popeyes, KFC, Rits Carlton, Intercontinental, The Westin Chosun, Hilton, Merriot, Outback Steak House, Bennigans, VIPS, Pizza Hut Pul-hyanggi(Scent of grass), Nolboo Co.,, and Our Story, and received 50 see each to hand out to their customers. Out of total 800 sets of questionnaires, 592 sets (74.25% were retrieved and underwent a Multiple Regression Analysis. We found the following results from the study. First among each variable of restaurant environment that had a significant effect on the crowding, 'pTast service' and 'responsiveness to customer complaints' sooted a regression coefficient value 0.381 and 0.325 respectively. Second, among each restaurant environment factor that had a significant effect on crowding, 'quality of facility' sooted the highest regression coefficient value 0.423 with a standard error score 0.1074, fellowed by 'status of waiting', 'overall ambience' and 'service quality' in ascending order. Third, in the analysis of the effect of each environmental factor upon the satisfaction rate, 'status of waiting' showed the highest regression coefficient value 0.3821 with a standard error score 0.4565, followed by 'cleanliness', 'service quality' and 'conveniency', in ascending order.
