This study was conducted to compare and analyze the management status of internet homepage of catering companies in Korea for improving internet marketing. An evaluation tool with 6 categories consisting of contents, information update, user's convenience, design, provision of related information, and accessibility was developed and used for the analysis of 6 major catering companies. A five-point likert scale (1=very badly organized, 5=very well organized) was used for evaluating above six categories. The overall mean score for six categories was 2.91 out of 5, showing below the average. The categories received less than 3 points were information update (2.16), user's convenience (2.33), and provision of related information (2.83). The scores for design was the highest (3.66), followed by accessibility (3.33), and contents (3.16). These results suggest that the internet homepaee of the catering companies should be improved especially in the provision of enough information and its update in order to promote their internet marketing.

This research proposes the importance of physical environment if integrated early childhood education. For a successful integration of children's education, we processed fundamental research on requirements of facility and equipments, looking at related standards and code on handicapped person's convenience facility. Also, this research alms at providing first step to establish evaluation method and quality assurance standards of integrated child care facility, regarding space planning of handicapped children. By examining home and abroad material and analyzing handicapped children's convenience facility standards, this research pursues improving the basis of planning criteria. As present criteria of relevant regulations appears not to handle detailed facility standards, and the handicapped people's facility is for childhood education, it is necessary first to differentiate indispensable equipments from optional one, then categorize them into more specific needs.

In recent years, universal design concepts have been introduced that are designed to make everybody more comfortable and safe to use for products, buildings, environments, services, and so on. In the case of urban railroad history, it is important to maintain facilities that incorporate the universal design concept because it is an important facility that serves as a base of city life and there are various users. This research is the last annual task of 5 years as part of the project of "Development of Technique to Improve the Convenience of Urban Railway History User" by the National Institute of Transportation Technology Promotion Agency. The purpose of this study is to develop criteria and method of facilities convenience evaluation based on UD and to evaluate user convenience by selecting test bed station. For this purpose, the UD principle of the historic facilities of Weihai Urban Railway was established and detailed evaluation criteria were presented. As a result of evaluating the test bed history using the 5-point Likert scale of the joint research institute / railway operating agency / expert, 50.3% of convenience improvement was achieved. As a result of evaluating the applicability according to the UD principle, 48.7% Respectively. The evaluation criteria and methodology based on the UD suggested in this study is a quantitative method for evaluating UD application of urban railway facilities in the future.

Establishing a public transportation transfer system that can reduce personal automobile use in the CBD and absorb the demand, thereby reducing congestion, is a necessity. However, the current transfer system and facilities are lacking in intermodal connectivity, require long transfer times, have complex flow patterns, and are lacking in information systems and convenience. The design analysis program of this study is to develop a program that executes computations of design analysis of transfer facilities by utilizing the existing design standards for facilities such as facilities for boarding and alighting, elements for convenience, and pedestrian facilities. Developing an analytical tool through which individual or integrated design analysis can be conducted on the design standards of various facilities is an important study for improving the work accuracy and efficiency of designing an actual transfer center.

The Korea-Chile FTA talks began in December 1999 and concluded in October 2002, with official endorsement in April 2004. This FTA of a first for Korea, went into effect on April 1 in 2004. The purpose of this study to measure the Chile product evaluation in the Korean consumer after Korea-Chile FTA signed. The major result of article can be summarized as the follows: This paper investigates the determinants of 'product attitude', 'quality recognition', 'price recognition', 'use safety', 'use convenience', and 'design(appearance)'. There are 500 sended samples and 487 returns, 476 of them are analyzed for a entry competitiveness. In the analysis result of the article, The first, multiple regression result shows that the Chile goods evaluation are positively affected by the 'product attitude', 'price recognition', 'use safety', 'use convenience', and 'design(appearance)'. However, The 'quality recognition' factor do not affect in Chile goods evaluation.

Internet shopping mall is done commercial trade in particular web sites, and zoomed with an important means of trade for the next generation. When users visit shopping mall, the best objective is determined to users by of offering satisfaction and pleasant experience. Therefore. this paper was selected a menu list as an evaluation factor to emphasize a usage convenience of internet shopping mall, and executed a performance and a subjective satisfaction evaluations on a screen design and a structure design. The results of all the performance and the subjective evaluations for the screen design were shown the shortest search times on left type of the main-menu and vertical type of the medium-menu. In the structure design, it was shown that users were the highest satisfaction in type that search product and shopping cart procedure were firstly processed, and the procedure of a shopping membership and paying a bill were secondly processed at the same screen with regard to a comprehensibility and convenience of purchase procedure. It was shown that the user prefered the shopping mall web site to analogy with the real purchase procedure

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the factors affecting body image among undergraduate students. Method: The research design for this study was a descriptive survey design using a convenience sampling. Data collection was done using self-report questionnaires with 319 undergraduate students located in 3 cities, Seoul, Gangneung and Seosan. Pearson correlation coefficients and hierarchical multiple regression with the SPSS Win 12.0 Program were used to analyze the data. Results: In the hierarchical multiple regression analysis, gender, height, weight and college major were controlled. Body surveillance and body shame significantly predicted 72.3% of appearance orientation. Sociocultural attitudes toward appearance and self-esteem significantly predicted 33.5% of appearance evaluation. Self-esteem and body surveillance significantly predicted 15.9% of health orientation. Self-esteem significantly predicted 23.3% of health evaluation. Conclusion: Findings from this study provide a comprehensive understanding of body image and related factors in undergraduate students in Korea. However, further study with a larger random sample and more a detailed research design is necessary.

Ubiquitous technology is currently being introduced to libraries at the fastest speed as compared to other spaces. However, the introduction of ubiquitous technology to the existing analog space is causing problems despite such intelligence of libraries as the design standards for ubiquitous spaces have not been arranged yet. This researcher analyzed and evaluated the characteristics of design from the ubiquitous aspect of the ubiquitous environment-oriented libraries that are still at their initial stage. The subjects for this study were the National Library of Korea, Myongji University Bangmok Library, and Yonsei University Library. The definition and characteristics of the ubiquitous environment libraries were examined through literature review and the standards for design analysis were derived by analyzing previous studies. Case analyses were conducted to evaluate the design elements in the ubiquitous environment libraries based on the field observation, photographing, and interviews with managers. As a result, functionality, safety, cognition and convenience were derived based on the investigation and analysis of previous studies; informativeness, playfulness, security, and simplicity which are the design characteristics were found. As a result of the case studies, while functionality and safety are met in most of the standards for design analysis, universality was very low. Care for minorities is need in a library as it is a space used by many unspecified individuals.

Purpose: Implant engine system is composed of the handpiece, micromotor, control box and foot switch. The aim of this study was to evaluate the satisfaction of the implant engine systems in terms of convenience-design and to examine the relation with the experience of implant surgery. Materials and Methods: Three implant systems were evaluated: SurgicXT/X-SG20L, INTRAsurg300/CL3-09, XIP10/CRB26LX. For this comparative study, 30 dentists were included and the satisfaction was measured using a structured questionnaire. One-way analysis of the variance (ANOVA) and multiple regression analysis were used within and between the groups. Results: Total satisfaction differed from each other (P < 0.05). The convenience score was more associated with the total satisfaction than design score. Moreover, the implant surgery experience affected several assessments. Conclusion: Collectively, in a cross-sectional study model, the design of implant system significantly affects its total satisfaction and the surgery experience can be influential factor in the evaluation of implant engine system.

This study develops three new models that are practically applicable to three stages of Taguchi's robust design, which includes system design, parameter design and tolerance design. In system design, the Multiple Loss Function Analysis(MLFA) and Overall Loss Index(OLI) which reflect upon weight of characteristics and importance of specification are developed. Moreover parameter design presents Process Capability Index(PCI), $C_{PUK}$ and $C_{PLK}$, in order to segregate Signal-To-Noise Ratio(SNR) into accuracy and precision for an evaluation of relative comparison. In addition, tolerance design presents the new model of allowance computation for assembled product which is primarily derived from safety margin(SM) considering functional limit and specification. The guideline of those three new models, which include systematic charts and applicable illustrations, offers convenience for practitioners in the field. Hence, the practical applications could be made with the steps of robust designs such as system design, parameter design and specification allowance design.
