  • In this paper, we design the radio interface protocols of wideband Wireless Local Loop(WLL) that uses wideband Code Division Multiple Access(CDMA), and propose the random access procedures on access channel and analyze the performance of the channel. The structure of radio interface protocols are designed by three modular parts to meet the requirements of IMT-2000 : radio resource controlling part that depends on the radio resources, connection controlling part that is independent of the radio resources, and application part that supports the interface between different parts and user terminals. In addition, we propose the random access procedures on access channel and analyze the performance of the channel. We assume that both near-far effect and shadow fading can be compensated by open loop power control. We observe that the number of access probes(delay) depend on the initial mobile transmission power and power increment, and the poor estimation of initial mobile transmission power might increase the average number of access probes.

  • Latest, it is dealt with seriously problems that an intruder kidnapping students in elementary school. Especially young students is more vulnerable in these risks. Elementary School has many limitations in controlling the intrusion of trespassers. A problem occurs that requires a lot of manpower through the deployment and management of security systems such as CCTV and control systems. In this paper, we is designed and implemented the outsider access management system using a sensor network and PZT camera called the USN's core technology to monitoring the access control for controlling the mobility of the trespassers.

  • Many countless services form using the Internet technology of things, in order to provide a variety of services in the current also many institutions, have created a new technology and protocols. In this paper, we design the resource service model for the efficient service provided by the system for controlling access to the Internet services of the things, to implement. The resources of the service that the user tries to access modeled using LCRS (Left Child-Right Sibling) tree, by utilizing the service token resource, it is possible to perform access control to services.

  • In an ubiquitous environment, for controlling user access according to environment of users, a number of access control models enforcing dynamic environment of users have been proposed. However, they do not support personalized environments of each user and have a run-time overhead of searching active roles. In this paper, we propose a new model, PE-RBAC, that extends the RBAC architecture by addition of a personalized environment component as a constraint to accommodate dynamic and mobile users. In this model, a dynamic role activation is presented by using a new role-to-environment structure instead of the conventional role hierarchy, which makes it efficient to find the active roles according to a user's personalized environment.

  • This paper applies learning automata to improve the performance of a Q-learning based random access channel (QL-RACH) scheme in a cellular machine-to-machine (M2M) communication system. A prioritized learning automata QL-RACH (PLA-QL-RACH) access scheme is proposed. The scheme employs a prioritized learning automata technique to improve the throughput performance by minimizing the level of interaction and collision of M2M devices with human-to-human devices sharing the RACH of a cellular system. In addition, this scheme eliminates the excessive punishment suffered by the M2M devices by controlling the administration of a penalty. Simulation results show that the proposed PLA-QL-RACH scheme improves the RACH throughput by approximately 82% and reduces access delay by 79% with faster learning convergence when compared with QL-RACH.

  • Security and privacy issues complicate wireless local area network deployment. for a wired network, certain levels of security are maintained since access to the physical medium is restricted to the devices physically connected to the network. Though wireless local area networks offer some built-in security features, security breaches are possible if appropriate precautions are not taken. This paper describes security issues related to wireless local area networks and presents a software approach for restricting and controlling wireless access. The system authenticates users on the basis of identity, privileges and access hardware by distributed software agents that implement security policy and restrict unauthorized access.

  • The utilization of AS(Artificial Intelligence) and Database could be considered as an useful access for the application of underground information from the point of a geotechnical methodology. Its detailed usage has been recently studied in many fields of geo-sciences. In this paper, the target of usage is on controlling the injection of grout which more scientific access is needed in the grouting that has been used a major method in many engineering application. As the proposals for this problem it is suggested the methodology consisting of a fuzzy-neural hybrid system and a database. The database was firstly constructed for parameters dynamically varied according to the conditions of rock mass during the injection of grout. And then the conceptional model for the fuzzy-neural hybrid system was investigated fer optimally finding the controlling range of the grout valve. The investigated model applied to four cases, and it is found that the controlling range of the grout valve was reasonably deduced corresponding to the mechanical phenomena occurred by the injection of grout. Consequently, the algorithm organizing the fuzzy-neural hybrid system and the database as a system can be considered as a tool for controlling the injection condition of grout.

  • Receiver access control scheme is proposed to protect multicast distribution tree from DoS(Denial-of Service) attack induced by unauthorized use of IGMP(Internet group management protocol), by extending the security-related functionality of IGMP. Based on a specific network and business model adopted for commercial deployment of IP multicast applications, key management scheme is also presented for bootstrapping the proposed access control as well as accounting and billing for CP(Content Provider), NSP(Network Service Provider), and group members.

  • WebDAV is an IETF standard protocol which supports asynchronous collaborative authoring on the Web. The WebDAV Access Control Protocol provides various methods of controlling the resources on a WebDAV server and their properties, helping high-level group activities to be performed through the WebDAV server. In this paper, to provide high level collaboration, we introduce a technique for managing access control over WebDAV resources through the WebDAV Access Control Protocol and describe the development of an access control manager for the CoSlide Collaborative system based on the technique. To provide users with the access control features in an easily understandable manner, the developed technique presents the privileges for performing WebDAV methods instead of the standard privileges in the WebDAV Access Control Protocol. In addition, we present the facility for detecting conflicts between new access privileges on resources and old access privileges on them. We applied the method-based access control management technique to the CoSlide collaborative system. The developed access control manager enables us to create group workspaces with flexible access control strategies for group members and resources.

  • In this paper we propose a protection mechanism for the debug port. While debug ports are useful tools for embedded device development and maintenance, they can also become potential attack tools for device hacking in case their usage is permitted to hackers with malicious intentions. The proposed approach prevents illicit use of debug ports by controlling access through user authentication, where the device generates and issues authentication token only to the server-authenticated users. An authentication token includes user access information which represents the user's permitted level of access and the maximum number of authentications allowed using the token. The device authenticates the user with the token and grants limited access based on the user's access level. The proposed approach improves the degree of overall security by removing the need to expose the device's secret key. Availability is also enhanced by not requiring server connection after the initial token generation and further by supporting flexible token transfer among predefined device groups. Low implementation cost is another benefit of the proposed approach, enabling it to be adopted to a wide range of environments in demand of debug port protection.
