A Plan of Existing System Interface within Station (역사내 기존 시스템 인터페이스 방안)

  • This paper presents the system interface standard that are associated with additional devices like sensor nodes as well as fire monitoring panel, panic button and emergency call in city railroad environment. Existing fire monitoring panel, panic button and emergency call system is responsible for fire detection and alarm, emergency alarm and communication with the manager. Recently, researches that are associated with NVR-based intelligent integrated surveillance systems and existing alarm system are activated but most of the system is dedicated to it existing. In order to expand devices that is supported other monitoring function, separate device configuration or modification of integrated surveillance system are inevitable. In this study, interface standard between standard controller, integrated command center and each device that facilitate additional expansion of integrated surveillance system and avoid the extra cost is presented.

Multiple Vibration Control of a Trim Panel to Reduce Structure-borne Noise (구조 소음저감을 위한 격자 패널의 다중 진동제어)

  • 본 연구에서는 격자패널을 통한 소음전달을 감소시키기 위하여 외부 구조적 가진으로부터 유발된 경량 패널의 진동을 능동 제어하는 기법을 기술한다. 최적 되먹임제어기와 적응 앞먹임제어기가 결합된 혼합형 제어기가 진동제어기로 사용된다. 되먹임제어기는 주파수 영역의 모델규명법에 의해 추출된 다중 입/출력 패널진동계 모델에 대하여 LQG 최적기법을 이용하여 감쇠능을 향상시키도록 설계된다. 앞먹임제어기는 되먹임 궤환의 결합효과를 자동적으로 보정할 수 있는 제안된 학습법칙에 기초하여 패널의 잔류진동이 최소가 되도록 적응된다. 45.7${\times}$45.7${\times}$2.54 ${cm^3}$ 벌집형상의 고강도 패널, 4개의 관성형 구동기 및 이산신호처리장치에 의해 구현된 패널 진동계에 대한 능동제어 실험을 수행해 본 결과 600Hz 주파수대역에 대한 12dB 진동저감이 이루어 질 수 있었다.

  • The effects of the base vacuum level on a plasma display panel (PDP) produced by the vacuum in-line sealing technology were investigated. The main equipment of the vacuum in-line sealing process consists of the sealing chamber, pumping systems for evacuating, mass flow controller for introducing the plasma gases, and other measuring systems. During the sealing process, the impurity gases were fully evacuated and the panel was prevented from the adsorption of impurity gases. As a result, the brightness increased as the impurity gas density decreased, so we found that the vacuum in-line sealing process was more efficient technology an the conventional sealing process.

  • Solar array simulator (SAS) is a special DC power supply that regulates the output voltage or current to emulate characteristics of photovoltaic (PV) panels. Especially, the control of SAS is a challenging task due to the nonlinearity in the output curve, which is dependent on irradiance as well as temperature and is determined by panel materials. Conventionally, both current-mode control and voltage-mode control should be alternated by partitioning the operating curve into multiple sections, which is not only for the measurement noise problem with the feedback sensing but also for the control stability issue near the maximum power point. However, the occurrence of transition among different controllers may deteriorate the overall performance. To eliminate the mode transitions, a novel single controller scheme has been introduced in this paper, where the reference operating projection technique enables simple, smooth and numerically stable control. Theoretical consideration on the loop stability issue is discussed and the performance is verified experimentally for the emulation of a PV panel data in view of stability and response speed.

  • Clients require easy to use of product and operating and industry safety according to the change of a market and a factory. For overcoming it, this paper developed controller of take-out robots that take high speed and superprecision and supplement a week point as use the system based on network. development controller classify teaching pendant and center server PC. Center server PC service the information about all process to supervisor. Teaching pendant is the bridge that service various faculties such as control, user recognition, metallic pattern operation to the user using injection molding. The controller development for taking out injection molded body classify software and hardware. The development of software is divided into three step which is application program, user interface and device driver. the simple device driver is not classified and included in application program. The hardware induce the touch panel and wireless network and construct the effective process control and internet connection. The inject ion cycle of existing system was five second but advanced system has the inner four cycle, process efficiency and product operation through wireless network.

  • This paper introduces the controller development of booster multi-pump system with constantly estimated control algorithm. Through analyzing by the experiment of optimal pressure with a certain flow rate. The larger pressure processing apparatus in microprocessor makes optimal water-supplying. This method is implemented with the only pure control algorithm without any other mechanical or circuitry apparatus. Also, Pump's life is lengthened by exchanging simple on, off and rotational inverter control. Optimal condition for pump is adjusted by the inverter control, and compact control panel helps the booster system install in real field.

  • In this paper, several cases of multi-shared bus architecture are discussed and in order to decrease the bridge latency, the architecture introducing a memory decoder is proposed. Finally, a LCD controller using DMA master is integrated in this bus architecture that is verified due to RTL simulation and FPGA board test. DMA, LCD line buffer and SDRAM controller are normally operated in the timing simulation using ModelSim tool, and the LCD image is confirmed in the real FPGA board containing LCD panel.

  • The existing CPC(Center Position Controller) has unstably performed because of dusts on reflection panel, CCD protector contamination due to high temperature in furnace or other parameters. The reason is that the existing CPC has a Z80 processor as a CPU and only performs low level image processing as a simple edge detector. So the improvement of control system through the development of robust edge detection algorithm overcoming changes of measuring environment is needed. For this, in this study we carefully analyze the image of the strip rolled in occasion that measuring environment is changing, develop the optimal edge detection algorithm to solve the problems, generate the control signal suitable for the existing CPC(Center Position Controller), and propose the capability of application to the actual environment.

Development of a Tying-Unit Controller for a Variable Chamber Round Baler (가변 원형 베일러의 결속 기구 제어 장치 개발)

  • This study was conducted to develop a control unit for a tying device of a variable chamber round baler. The work process of the tying device was thoroughly analyzed and the control sequence was established according to the work process. Based on this control sequence, a control unit using an 8 bit microprocessor AT 89C52 as a CPU was developed. The driving circuit to control the actuator motion was developed and the PWM method was used to regulate the velocity of the actuator. On the front panel of the control unit, indicators were also installed to show the operations being conducted. A prototype of the developed control unit was manufactured and tested. A total of 50 complete cycles of the control sequence was repeated and no failure was observed. It was evaluated that the developed control unit has an excellent performance and can be used practically for variable chamber round balers.

  • This paper addresses the enhancement of long-endurance solar-powered aircraft through the integration of a rechargeable battery and Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) controller. Traditional long-endurance aircraft often rely on non-renewable energy sourcessuch as batteries orjetfuel, contributing to carbon emissions. The proposed system aims to mitigate these environmental impacts by harnessing solar energy and efficiently managing its storage and utilization. The MPPT controller optimizes the power output of photovoltaic cells, enabling simultaneous charging and discharging of the battery for propulsion and servo control. A prototype is presented to illustrate the practical implementation and functionality of the proposed design, marking a promising step towards more sustainable and enduring solar-powered flight.
