Intelligent Network offers network operators significant opportunities to provide new services such as Freephone service and Credit Calling service. To realize the IN capabilities it is required to introduce several new components into the existing telecommunication network. Among them Service Control Point is regarded as a keystone node of Intelligent Network. This paper discusses the architecture design and implementation of NICS(Network Information Control System), which is a combined system of SCP and SMS. Service processing aspects are discussed in detail among the functions of NICS, and service management and test environment of service logic are presented also. The field trial of NICS which has been developed to provide Freephone Service and Credit Calling Service is scheduled at the end of 1993.

As the value and relative importance of service industry boosts in modern society, to strengthen competitiveness companies starts to recognize the quality of service as a key component in their business operations. Furthermore, companies that apply the quality of services as their competitive method are concentrating more on the area of quality control. Nevertheless, the previous researches related to this area were more focused on the aspect of measure rather than the control. In this paper, each fractionated customer group in consideration of its characteristics is made in use of estimating the quality of service using the conjoint analysis. The principal variable selective method which a small number of variables is used to control a large number of variables is applied. Hotelling's $T^2$ control chart is applied to administer many relative variables of the quality of service because it is a Multi-item. If abnormal indications appear by adding new data, the method to find and improve variables using MYT decomposition is suggested to apply.

To survive in rapidly changing business environment, the enterprises of all over the world are trying to integrate their IT infra structure and are trying to automate their business process. Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is being accepted as an IT standard to support efficient system integration and flexible business process automation between enterprises or departments. The material control system is required this software architecture between manufacturing company and materials supply vendors. This paper introduces concept of SOA, relevant technology about SOA such as Web Services and Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and describes how to automate materials control process by designing the material control system based on SOA. The analysis of requirements is proceeded by Unified Modeling Language (UML) and SOA delivery strategy is selected the top-down strategy. And this paper describes how to derive services and operations and how to arrange services in three service layers and how to design business process.

This paper describes the ubiquitous home network (uHome-net) testbed and LonRF intelligent devices based on LonWorks technology. These devices consist of Neuron Chip, RF transceiver, sensor, and other peripheral components. Using LonRF devices, a home control network can be simplified and most devices can be operated on LonWorks control network. Also, Indoor Positioning System (IPS) that can serve various location based services was implemented in uHome-net. Smart Badge of IPS, that is a special LonRF device, can measure the 3D location of objects in the indoor environment. In the uHome-net testbed, remote control service, cooking help service, wireless remote metering service, baby monitoring service and security ＆ fire prevention service were realized. This research shows the vision of the ubiquitous home network that will be emerged in the near future.

This study examined the effect of beauty service location characteristics and service quality on customer satisfaction and revisit intention, and analyzed the gender control effect of location characteristics and service quality in the relationship with customer satisfaction. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was employed and analysis was conducted to investigate how location characteristics and service quality in beauty service encounters effects customer satisfaction. The results of this study are as follows. First, visibility, which is a location characteristic, was found to have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Second, professionalism and convenience, which are service qualities, were found to have a significant impact on customer satisfaction. Third, customer satisfaction was found to have a significant effect on the intention to revisit. Fourth, as a result of analyzing the gender control effect in the relationship between location characteristics and service quality with customer satisfaction, the gender control effect was found in all factors.

This paper describes remote control RS232 communication using internet service, safety of exchange data and internet traffic by Denial of Service Attacks. In case of Denial of service Attacks, it makes connection of internet service failed. So in this Paper, this solution was examined and implemented for receiving data in safety against Denial of Service Attacks by LabVIEW program of National Instruments.

본 논문은 P2P(Peer to Peer) IPTV(Internet Protocol Television) 서비스를 위한 세션 제어 모델을 제시하고, 제시된 모델에 근거한 IPTV 세션 제어 절차에 대해 논한다. 별도의 전용망에 의해 관련 트래픽이 처리되는 공중 IPTV(Public IPTV)와 달리 P2P IPTV 트래픽은 인터넷 접속 트래픽의 일부로 망에 의해 처리되어야 한다. 따라서 P2P IPTV 세션 제어는 IPTV를 구성하는 TPS(Triple Play Service) 트래픽을 기존 인터넷 트래픽과 분리하여 적절하게 제어할 수 있어야 하고, 분리된 TPS 트래픽을 차별화하여 처리하는 QoS(Quality of Service) 제어 기능을 포함해야 한다. 뿐만 아니라 P2P IPTV 세션 제어는 불특정 다수에 의한 비디오 전송을 효과적으로 지원하기 위한 적절한 멀티캐스트 제어 기능을 반드시 포함해야 한다. 본 논문의 P2P IPTV 세션 제어 모델은 상호 연동성(Inter-operability)이 보장되는 P2P IPTV 플랫폼의 조기 구축에 기여할 수 있도록 표준 SIP(Session Initiation Protocol), IGMP(Internet Group Management Protocol), 그리고 COPS(Common Open Policy Service) 프로토콜에 근거하여 설계되었다.

Unbalance between user requirements and insufficient network resources makes a congestion. In the future since the communication networks will have very heavy traffic congestion will be more serious. The ATM networks was recommended to support the B-ISDN service for the future multimedia communication. In thie sense of congestion avoidance and recovery the ABR service category in ATM networks allows the feedback flow control mechanism to dynamically allocate the idle bandwidth of the network to users fairly and to control the network congestion rapidly In this paper we introduce a congestion control scheme using systematical approach to confirm robust stability with respect to unknown round trip delay for the network which has both unicast and multicast connections.

The brake system is important to stop train safely. The train is sloped by regenerative brake and pneumatic brake which are continuously blended at service brake. When service is applied to train, it is controlled by train weight and brake command. The jerk limitation function is applied for impulseless smoothing braking. All brake applications in service condition have a function of the variable load control to keep the braking effort in proportion to each car load. All of control function are performed by brake controller. Therefore, we will propose the design of brake control system in order to control efficiently

최근 유비쿼터스 환경을 위한 핵심기술로 RFID가 이슈화되고 있다. 특히, RFID와 함께 이동통신과 인터넷이 결합된 무선인터넷망을 이용한 모바일 RFID의 출현은 사용자에게 새로운 서비스를 제공하고 부가가치의 증대를 가져다준다. 이러한 모바일 RFID 서비스 제공을 위해서는 그에 따른 적절한 과금 정책이 필요하다. 현재 망 접속에 대한 인증, 권한, 과금 서비스를 제공하기 위해 널리 사용되는 Diameter Base Protocol은 후불제 과금 방식만을 제공한다. 이러한 과금 방식 외에 다양한 과금 방식을 제공하기 위해서 선불 과금 기능이 제공되는 Diameter Credit-Control Application을 고려해야할 필요성이 있다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 RFID 서비스에서 선불 과금 방식을 위해 모바일 RFID 시스템에 Diameter Credit-Control Application을 적용하는 것을 제안한다.
