  • 이 논문은 에나멜 전선의 제조공정의 자동화에 있어서 핵심역할을 하는 보빈의 자동인식을 위한 머신 비젼 시스템에 관한 것이다. 이 시스템의 역할은 컨베이어 라인의 팔레트 위에 놓인 보빈들의 영상을 CCD 카메라로 취득, 분석하여 보빈 형태, 색상, 제조공정번호 등의 다양한 정보를 추출하여, 전체 생산공정을 제어하는 주 컴퓨터로 보내는 일을 수행한다. 이 비젼 시스템은 개발된 후 에나멜 전선 생산공장에 설치되어 일정 시험기간을 거쳐 현재 성공적으로 운영되고 있다.

  • This paper reports the design procedure and testing result of a servo driven pan/tilt device which is capable of tracking arbitrary movement of a specified target object. In order to achieve real-time acquisition of feedback signal, a 2 degrees-of-freedom non-contact type displacement follower is used. The performance of the system is tested for different target velocities and control gains. The result of the research may provide an effective tool for visual transfer in the context of teleoperation.

  • A solution of the findpath problem in which a moving object in required to avoid moving obstacles and move to the designated target in the plane is porcided via the second method of Lyapunov. This paper presents an new control designed by a family of piecewise Lyapunov functions to solve a findpath problem and gives some simultion results of that.

  • In this paper we present the linear combination of a fuzzy opening and closing filter with locally adaptive structuring elements that can preserve the geometrical features of an image. Based on the adaptation algorithm of linear combination of the fuzzy opening and closing filter, the optimal structuring element for image representation is obtained. The optimal structuring element is an indicator of the shape and direction of an object's image, which is useful in filtering, multi resolution, segmentation, and recognition of an image.

  • Virtual reality environment system is expected to be used as a new user interface tool oweing to its high immersiveness and high interactivity. To use VR interface effectively, we should identify the characteristics of the three-dimensional control tasks as if we did in two-dimensional graphic user interface environments. As a first step, we validated Fitts'law for the three-dimensional pointing tasks with the two input devices, Spaceball and Spacemouse.   • Image detection system for road traffic data analysis is a real time detection system using image processing techniques to get the real-time traffic information which is used for traffic control and analysis. One of the most important functions in this system is to match the coordinates of real world and that of image on video camera. When there in no way to know the exact position of camera and it´s height from the object. If some points on the road of real world are known it is possible to calculate the coordinates of real world from image.

  • This paper presents a fuzzy-based method for classification skin color object in a complex background under varying illumination. Parameters of fuzzy rule base are generated using a genetic algorithm(GA). The color model is used in the YCbCr color space. We propose a unique fuzzy system in order to accommodate varying background color and illumination condition. This fuzzy system approach to skin color classification is discussed along with an overview of YCbCr color space.

  • This paper presents a modelling of railway facilities and signalling system based on object-oriented software development technique to simulate multi-train movements on the complex railway network. Block and interlocking functions of signalling system is modelled using Node-Link model of railway network and signal control logic, which can be used to set the train routes and control the train movement. A brief explanation of class design about these model is provided.
