Objective: The aim of this study was to analyze three-dimensional (3D) changes in maxillary dentition in Class II malocclusion treatment using arch wire with continuous tip-back bends or compensating curve, together with intermaxillary elastics by superimposing 3D virtual models. Methods: The subjects were 20 patients (2 men and 18 women; mean age 20 years 7 months ${\pm}$ 3 years 9 months) with Class II malocclusion treated using $0.016{\times}0.022-inch$ multiloop edgewise arch wire with continuous tip-back bends or titanium molybdenum alloy ideal arch wire with compensating curve, together with intermaxillary elastics. Linear and angular measurements were performed to investigate maxillary teeth displacement by superimposing pre- and post-treatment 3D virtual models using Rapidform 2006 and analyzing the results using paired t-tests. Results: There were posterior displacement of maxillary teeth (p < 0.01) with distal crown tipping of canine, second premolar and first molar (p < 0.05), expansion of maxillary arch (p < 0.05) with buccoversion of second premolar and first molar (p < 0.01), and distal-in rotation of first molar (p < 0.01). Reduced angular difference between anterior and posterior occlusal planes (p < 0.001), with extrusion of anterior teeth (p < 0.05) and intrusion of second premolar and first molar (p < 0.001) was observed. Conclusions: Class II treatment using an arch wire with continuous tip-back bends or a compensating curve, together with intermaxillary elastics, could retract and expand maxillary dentition, and reduce occlusal curvature. These results will help clinicians in understanding the mechanism of this Class II treatment.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the root resorption pattern in incisors in dog under intrusive orthodontic loadings of various magnitude and duration. Intrusive forces were generated by closed coil springs. Force magnitudes were 15-30gm, 50-60gm and 80-110gm. Durations were continuous and intermittent. Intermittent duration was applied at intervals of 12 hours. The readjustment of the force was done every 4 days. The forces were maintained for 30 days. All specimens were decalfied, embedded in paraffin and stained with hematoxylin-eosin stain. Observations were made with light microscope. The following results were obtained; 1. The continuity of root surface was ceased in all, except intermittent forced teeth with 25gm. 2. The root resorptions, cementoclasts and cemental lacunae, were increased around periapical regions and the destructive scope of bone was deeply extended as the exerted orthodontic forces increased. 3. It was inspected that, under the same forces, root resorption and bone destruction were more deeply appeared in the continuously forced teeth than the intermittently forced ones. 4. All of the alveolar bone, showed direct and undermining bone resorptions.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to compare the displacement patterns shown by finite element analysis when the maxillary anterior segment was retracted from different orthodontic miniscrew positions and different lengths of lever arms in lingual continuous and segmented arch techniques. Methods: A three dimensional model was produced, the translation of teeth in both models was measured and individual displacement was calculated. Results: When traction was carried out from miniscrews in the palatal slope, lingual tipping of crowns and extrusion of the maxillary anterior segment were found in both continuous and segmented arches as the lever arms were made shorter. With miniscrews in the midpalatal suture area, the displacement patterns were similar to the palatal slope, but bodily movement of the upper incisors was observed in both continuous and segmented arches with the lever arm at 20 mm. When lever arms were longer, there was less extrusion of the incisors and more buccal displacement of the canines. Such displacement was shown less in the continuous arch than the segmented arch. The second premolar showed crown mesial tipping and intrusion, and the molars showed distal tipping in the continuous arch. The posterior segment was displaced three dimensionally in the segmented arch, but the amount of displacement was less than the continuous arch. Conclusions: It is recommended that lever arms of 20 mm in length be used for bodily movement of the anterior segment. Use of continuous or segmented arches affect the displacement patterns and induce differences in the amount of displacement.

As a result of the Mercury Intrusion Porosimetry(MIP) test, FCR Batch with the continuous voids in excellent permeability is appeared with the Cellular Mortar that is most suitable which Drain Material of the Composite Lining Method.
The high alkaline property in the concrete pore solution protects the embedded steel in concrete from corrosion due to aggressive ions attack. However, a continuous supply of those ions, in particular, chlorides altogether with a pH fall in electrochemical reaction on the steel surface eventually depassivate the steel to corrode. To mitigate chloride-induced corrosion in concrete structures, finely grained mineral admixtures, for example, pulverized fuel ash (PFA), ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) and silica fume (SF) have been often advised to replace ordinary Portland cement (OPC) partially as binder. A consistent assessment of those partial replacements has been rarely performed with respect to the resistance of each binder to corrosion, although the studies for each binder were extensively looked into in a way of measuring the corrosion rate, influence of microstructure or chemistry of chlorides ions with cement hydrations. The paper studies the behavior of steel corrosion, chloride transport, pore structure and buffering capacity of those cementitious binders. The corrosion rate of steel in mortars of OPC, 30% PFA, 60% GGBS and 10% SF respectively, with chloride in cast ranging from 0.0 to 3.0% by weight of binder was measured at 7, 28 and 150 days to determine the chloride threshold level and the rate of corrosion propagation, using the anodic polarization technique. Mercury intrusion porosimetry was also applied to cement pastes of each binder at 7 and 28 days to ensure the development of pore structure. Finally, the release rate of bound chlorides (i.e. buffering capacity) was measured at 150 days. The chloride threshold level was determined assuming that the corrosion rate is beyond 1-2 mA/$m^3$ at corrosion and the order of the level was OPC > 10% SF > 60% GGBS > 30% PFA. Mercury intrusion porosimetry showed that 10% SF paste produced the most dense pore structure, followed by 60% GGBS, 30% PFA and OPC pastes, respectively. It was found that OPC itself is beneficial in resisting to corrosion initiation, but use of pozzolanic materials as binders shows more resistance to chloride transport into concrete, thus delay the onset of corrosion.

In anomaly intrusion detection, how to model the normal behavior of activities performed by a user is an important issue. To extract the normal behavior as a profile, conventional data mining techniques are widely applied to a finite audit data set. However, these approaches can only model the static behavior of a user in the audit data set This drawback can be overcome by viewing the continuous activities of a user as an audit data stream. This paper proposes a new clustering algorithm which continuously models a data stream. A set of features is used to represent the characteristics of an activity. For each feature, the clusters of feature values corresponding to activities observed so far in an audit data stream are identified by the proposed clustering algorithm for data streams. As a result, without maintaining any historical activity of a user physically, new activities of the user can be continuously reflected to the on-going result of clustering.
The Jecheon granite mass has turtle-shape exposure of about $190km^2$ at vicinity of Jecheon-eup, and is elongated in the direction of NEE-SWW. It discordantly intrudes the Bakdalryong metamorphic rocks and the great limestone series(Samtaesan and Hungwolri formation) which belong to the pre-Cambrian and Ordovician, respectively. The mass is composed of five facies of different grain size; texture and charecteristic minerals. The five facies are (1) coarse grained biotite granodiorite, (2) fine grained hornblende biotite granodiorite, (3) coarse grained pink feldspar granodiorite (4) leucogranite, and (5) porphyritic biotite granite. The mutual relationship between each facies is intrusion in (1)-(2) and (2)-(3), but unknown in (3)-(4) and (4)-(5). 22 modal analyses and and 10 chemical analyses on more than a hundred of representative samples taken from the mass are listed as tables. Triangular plot of modal and normative Q-Kf-Pl of this mass show a continuous differentiation products from certain common magma by change of chemical composition and anorthite contents in plagioclase. The metamorphic facies of contact aureole in surrounding rocks adjacent to the granite body are corresponded to hornblende hornfels facies with mineral assemblages of wollastonite-diopside-calcite in calcareous rocks, and of quartz-biotite-muscovite-cordierite in argillaceous rocks. Variation of silica versus oxides of major elements shows that the mass is similar to the trend of Daly's average basalt-andesite-dacite-rhyolite which shows the trend of the fractional crystallization of magma, and is equivalent to the calc-alkali rock series by Peacock. AMF diagram shows that Jecheon granite mass is equivalent to normal diffentiation products such as skaergaard intrusion. The above evidences suggest that the Jecohon granite mass is normal differentiation products formed by fractional crystallization under relatively slow cooling condition.

Current CCTV systems, which require continuous monitoring of the screens, have the limitation to detect and respond to the crime scenes in timely manner. Therefore, in recent years, the request for more intlligent surveillance system, with a ubiquitous sensor network, is increasing in order to behave more humanly fashions. Such systems require cllective data processing of the environments based on various sensors. In this article, we suggests a new paradigm based surveillance system which integrates PSD and dual PIR sensors. The proposed system evlves from a existing indoor intrusion detection system which can only identify the intrusion event to a better inteligent system with context awareness. We have conducted the various simulations in order to prove the effectiveness of the proposed system.
The Internet is aggregate of trustless networks essentially Because the Internet is very difficult to control flowing of information, taking advantage of enough sporadic resource, security problem that can protect internal important stock from the Internet is risen seriously. Recently, virus accident and generation rate about system intrusion that happen become much higher and various than past. On these time, is progressing researcher for invasion cutout to keep away illegal act vigorouslyand do continuous development. In this paper, reporting administrator log information about invader's illegal act depending on XML format form, and I wished to solve problem that happen in administration side developing invasion interception system that can control to remote.
Anatahan Volcano in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) erupted for the first time in recorded history on 10 May 2003. The underwater acoustic records of earthquakes, explosions, and tremor produced during the eruption were recorded on a sound-channel hydrophone deployed in February 2003. Acoustic propagation models show the seismic to acoustic conversion at Anatahan is particularly efficient, aided by the slope of the seamount toward the hydrophone. The hydrophone records confirm the onset of earthquake activity at 01:53Z on 10 May, as well as the onset (at ${\~}$06:20Z) of continuous, low-frequency (5-40 Hz) acoustic energy that is likely volcanic tremor related to magma intrusion. The hydrophone recorded a total of 458 earthquakes associated with the eruption. To predict the character of acoustic signals generated from Anatahan, we developed a moment-tensor representation of a volcano-seismic source that is governed by the geometry of the source and the physical properties of the magma. A buried magmatic pipe model was adopted, and numerically modeling source parameters such as the pipe radius and magma viscosity enable us to grasp the inward nature of Anatahan Volcano.
