To understand 'Moving up the charts' as a dynamic phenomenon in the K-pop entertainment industry, this study specifically analyzed the 'Moving up the charts' of 「Rollin'」 sung by 'Brave Girls'. First, the context and process related to 「Rollin'」 were described in detail, and the performance as a sound source and business were described. Subsequently, six factors were analyzed and presented as causes for 'Moving up the charts': 'Existence of specific possible triggers', 'Attractions of content itself', 'Inflow of new male fans', 'Turning weaknesses into strengths as idol', 'Psychological empathy with stories of real group' and 'Fast response and communication of agency'. Due to the influence of 'Moving up the charts', two changes were presented: 'Expansion of popularity and interest and expansion beyond songs' and 'Forming a consumer group with high purchasing power'. Through this, this study discussed the meaning, role, and possibility of 'Moving up the charts' in the K-pop entertainment industry. In the future, it will be necessary to recognize 'Moving up the charts' in the music market as a remarkable phenomenon, and to understand the importance of new idol consumer class as well as the use of related media such as YouTube.
The purpose of this study is to find methods for building the community in poor residential environments. We analyze the public art project, "The Rose of Sharon Blooms," in Daejeon. To understand the project we interviewed artists, curators, local residents, and visitors, about three aspects of public art: visuality, speciality, and communication with citizens. These stakeholder interviews yielded valuable knowledge and insights: First, artworks created from the residents' recycled junk effectively harmonizes and unifies the citizens and their environment. Second, managing a gallery in the neighborhood symbolically values and explicates the public art project and thus enhanced the local identity. Third, public workshops in the neighborhood provide a venue for local citizens to communicate with visitors about the public arts, which eventually led to the welcoming atmosphere of the community. However, we found relatively little awareness of the need for partnership aspects among our interviewees, which suggests the importance of ongoing cooperation with other arts institutions and researchers to build vital cultural linkages and introduce varied art forms.
This study analyzed the smart construction safety cost included in safety management plans that are approved before construction. Specifically, it refers to the cost incurred in constructing and operating a safety management system using wireless communication and facilities. Based on the obtained statistical results, an activation policy for the inclusion of the smart construction safety cost in building safety management plans was proposed. The smart construction safety cost must be included in the safety management cost; notably, this is mandated by the Construction Technology Promotion Act. However, there are some problems with the inclusion of smart construction safety costs. To analyze the problems encountered when calculating the smart construction safety cost and including it in safety management plans, in this study, statistical analysis was performed using the data of 1,334 safety management plans received at the Construction Safety Management Integrated Information (CSI) from June to August 2021. The results show that only 50.7% of the safety management plans included the smart construction safety cost although the current law mandates 100% inclusion of these costs. Thus, it is apparent that the smart construction safety costs are only included in a low proportion of sites. In addition, the calculated smart construction safety costs were shown to have a small correlation with the construction cost; moreover, they appeared to be distributed at a constant cost level. In this context, it is believed that perfunctory cost calculations were performed at most sites since the effect of the construction cost on the smart construction safety cost was negligible. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the inclusion of smart construction safety costs by strengthening the authorization process of the approval institute of safety management plans. In addition, institutional support, such as guidelines that promote the calculation and inclusion of appropriate smart construction safety costs according to the characteristics of sites, are needed.

The relevance of the published study lies in the fact that since the introduction of the first Global Distribution System, new information and communication technologies have constantly been changing the tourism industry. In the context of a current digital environment, travel agencies can't avoid participating in digital transformation processes aimed at rethinking operational models, skills, and organisational structures in the regions. This publication aims to present and provide a critical overview of digitalisation processes in tourism development in the regions of the Russian Federation, as well as to reflect on the challenges to the widespread digitalisation processes in the regional tourism sector. The subject of research is digitalisation processes, as they radically transform the modern tourism industry, in the regions as well. The pragmatic research paradigm was considered the most appropriate for the study of tourism digitalisation processes in the regions, as it does not require the selection of a specific theoretical basis for data collection. The pragmatic approach forms an alternative to classical theoretical approaches and serves as a particular type of grounded theory, combining both inductive and deductive methods. No software was used for the inductive part of the analysis. The deductive part was conducted using the qualitative data analysis software Nvivo 11. Given the wide diversity of interested parties in the regional tourism digital area, a stratified purposive sampling method was preferred due to its ability to adequately represent the full picture of the phenomenon under study. The selection and stratum criteria were chosen to maximise the representation of different perspectives in the regional tourism digital area. The novelty of the study is due to the digitalisation processes, with an implication of new needs, while opening up promising opportunities for more productive tourism business in the regions of the Russian Federation. Currently, e-tourism in the Russian Federation has become a subject of lively debate among scholars and practitioners. However, the involvement of advanced digitalisation technologies in the field of information processes in the regions of the Russian Federation is of a very sporadic character.

The purpose of this study is to examine the progress of negotiations between the two countries regarding the implementation of AFKN's satellite broadcasting on October 4, 1983, as well as the opposition of domestic public opinion, which emerged as an important variable in the negotiation process. Through this, it was intended to lay the foundation for the historical facts necessary to interpret the negotiation process between the two countries over the implementation of AFKN's satellite broadcasting in the context of world history of cultural globalization. As a research method, the historical literature research method was used, focusing on archive documents stored in diplomatic archives. The study revealed that public opinion's movement toward cultural imperialism under domestic political conditions, which had authoritarian control over the media, served as an accidental factor to help carry out the regime's interests of regime protection. Through these findings, this paper interpreted that AFKN-TV's satellite broadcasting, which was implemented under the U.S. Department of Defense plan without the prior consent of the Korean government, clearly shows that Korea has been "semi-forced" into the U.S.-led cultural globalization order.

As more consumers have turned to online shopping since the COVID-19 pandemic, communication through offline channels has also entered a new phase. Young consumers recognize offline channels as a play space for enjoying various experience elements. Applying Pine and Gilmore's (1998) experiential economy theory, this study initially explores the structure of experience factors in the context of experiential fashion stores (RQ1). Next, we investigate the effect of experience factors on consumer loyalty by mediating store attachment (RQ2). In addition, the moderating effect of fashion innovativeness was verified (RQ3). This survey targeted members of the MZ generation who have visited experiential fashion stores. A total of 225 survey responses were analyzed using AMOS 22.0 and SPSS 26.0. First, as a result of factor analysis, the experience factors of experiential fashion stores were classified into education, escapism, and aesthetic entertainment. Secondly, as a result of structural equation modeling (SEM), all three experience factors positively affected store attachment, and increased attachment positively enhanced consumer loyalty. Finally, as a result of multigroup SEM analysis, consumers with low fashion innovativeness considered educational experience as an important factor in inducing store attachment, while consumers with high fashion innovativeness value escapism and aesthetic entertainment experiences.
This study focuses on online communities and the ritual conversations of users when participating in sharing activities. The study aims to understand the social and psychological phenomena that occur between users within the context of Erving Goffman's impression management theory. Case studies and a content analysis were conducted by collecting posts and comments related to fashion products in the sharing activities category on Naver Cafe "Family Sale." On the one hand, the study identified various disposition motives among givers, including a desire for recognition, self-expression, activation of the community, emotional sympathy, goodwill, play, and simple disposition. On the other hand, receivers' purchase motives included the need for a product, reciprocation based on a sense of belonging, play, gift-giving, and simple response. Analyzing the posts of givers and the comments of receivers of fashion products using impression management strategies and dramaturgical analysis, the study interpreted users' impression management and revealed propensities in fashion consumption: fashionability, conspicuousness, value orientation, and economic feasibility. Through ritual conversations, users managed to attain emotional stability on an individual level, while they reinforced collective bonds on a social level. They fulfilled their roles with their own narratives to achieve personal and collective goals in a non-face-to-face situations and non-monetary transactions. This study is significant in that it examines normative communication in an online community and user relationships to understand a recent phenomenon in the fashion industry.

Medical schools realize their social accountability in cultivating future doctors as decision-makers of medical care in the future society as an axis of society and carrying out communication, research, and medical service (medical care). This study summarized the social accountability status of eight medical schools in Korea, including the characteristics, activities, and programs in the sociocultural context. The data from the self-evaluation research reports of eight medical schools were classified and organized according to education, research, and medical care services. The medical schools offer related subjects, community service activities, and clinical practice, allowing active participation in local health promotion and disease prevention. Community health information research was conducted considering the difference between the local natural environment in which the medical school is located and the frequency of diseases. Medical schools and hospitals collaborated to conduct domestic and foreign health education volunteer activities. Social accountability must be prioritized, considering the importance of medical schools' functions and roles in a high knowledge-information society. Both doctors' medical capacity and competence to actively participate in developing medical care and health policies for the community should be strengthened.

This study was conducted in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic by analyzing a large amount of press report frames regarding the Covid-19 vaccine which is of great public interest, in order to explore the role and direction of trusted media as core elements of crisis communication. The study period lasted for eight months beginning in November 2020 when the development of the Covid-19 vaccine was in progress until June 2021. Set-up as research subjects were the Chosun Ilbo, Joongang Ilbo, Dong-A Ilbo and Hankyoreh according to their public confidence rankings and number of readers.The analysis method used structured topic Modeling (STM) and semantic network analysis. As a result, based on a clear cluster of word structures and a central analysis value, a total of 64 relevant frames, 16 for each news company, were gathered. In the third phase a comparative analysis of the four news companies was carried out to verify the organizational degree of the frames and substantial differences.

Despite the lifting of the mandatory wearing of masks, which was the main tool of the COVID-19 quarantine policy, we paid attention to the fact that some people are still wearing masks, and we wanted to clarify why people do not take off their masks. Through a survey in this regard, we were able to ascertain why some people continue to wear masks in a broader context. In this article, we directly and indirectly confirm the hidden side of citizens' continued wearing of masks by analyzing how the lifting of the mask-wearing obligation was reported in media articles that have a significant impact on citizens' behavior and attitude. Through this, it was confirmed that citizens continue to wear masks to protect themselves in an uncertain situation where the COVID-19 endemic has not been declared, despite the quarantine authorities' announcement of lifting the mandatory wearing. In a situation where crises such as COVID-19 are expected to repeat frequently in the future, it was concluded that it is important to build trust in the quarantine authorities.
