  • Christian communities have long sought to find what type of moral judgment is appropriate and what the Christian behavior is, by taking the church's ethical norms and behavior patterns as objects of reflection. In the same context, Christian education also tried to base the psychological rationalism of J. Piaget and L. Kohlberg, but the reason-centered structural development theory was not the answer. In fact, the structural development theory, which emphasized autonomy while excluding emotions from the moral judgment process, over-emphasizing cognition or reason, eventually led to moral relativism, unlike what was intended. In addition, it was criticized for not being able to adequately elucidate the gap between human moral reasoning and behavior, and for attempting to interpret morality excessively within the context of social culture. Recently, these limitations of structural developmental theory have been reinterpreted by neuroethics, especially moral psychology theories, which claim that moral judgment ability is physically wired in the brain and relies heavily on networks between cortical and limbic system. The purpose of this paper is to review some of the newly emerged research themes of neuroethics, and then to discuss two main theories that explain morality in the perspective of neuroethics and the implications that Christian education should pay attention to.

  • This dissertation discusses the formulation of a nonlinear storytelling board that preserves the contextual perspective of characters. Storytelling encompasses the director's creative intention by leveraging the interaction of various elements to construct a logical narrative that explores cause and effect. Its primary objective is to enhance viewers' empathy. Consequently, there is a pressing need for comprehensive research on differentiating storytelling from storyboarding. Moreover, the integrated approach to storytelling and storyboarding holds scholarly value in understanding the process of narrative composition and visualization. Thus, a study proposes a method for constructing nonlinear storytelling boards considering the discrete camera perspective and contextual scene continuity, ultimately contributing to visual complexity and correlation comprehension. This approach enables a careful and simultaneous consideration of the correlations that deepen cognition, including the physical, emotional, and event rhythms mentioned in Karen Perlman's theory.

  • This study aims to examine and research the characteristics of apartment landscape at the street from a view that apartments are the major element of a cityscape and many apartments form a street today. Then, the subjects of this study were three sections consisting of streets in Namak New Town and the results were as follows. A streetscape is necessary to have identity under the unity(context) of parts which orient to "one as a whole". However, the subject apartments were not united(contextual) in layouts, roofs, and walls, whereas their facades appeared too united(contextual). Accordingly, to make a united(contextual) streetscape, the wall located in a boundary(a buffer zone) with public space which consists of a streetscape, building layout, building height, and roof forms need a design guideline which can have unity as a whole to connect with architectural design. On the other hand, the facade which was found too uniform should have a more active design guideline to elicit identity at unity.

  • Objective and Background : Attempt to express knowledge by IT is the current of the times, knowledge of the oriental medicine have to meet the needs of the times. It takes 'classification system of the oriental medicine terms' and 'system of the predicate' for explaining the relation between concepts to express knowledge by IT technique. Researches for 'classification system of the oriental medicine terms' are in progress already, researches for 'system of the predicate' are insufficient. Subject of study : We proceeded to study of the predicate in Idongwon(李東垣)'s "Biwiron(脾胃論)" has clear theory system and considerable influence upon knowledge of the oriental medicine for studying 'system of the predicate' which expresses knowledge of the oriental medicine in early stage. Method : Acquire Chinese play a predicate part in "Biwiron(脾胃論)", translate the Chinese to answer the context, group the similar predicate, decide representative predicate of group. And attempt to make classification system of the representative predicate with Term management system based on SQL Server 2005. Results and Considerations : I classify the predicate which predicate diagnosis, treatment, symptoms and knowledge of the oriental medicine into existence, condition, cognition and will. This classification seems to be useful to explain factors which have an effect on demonstration and treatment.

  • The renaissance architects had considered perspective system as accurate tool for the visual representation, but Palladio did not agree with this belief and demonstrated that it is a system based on optical illusionism. On the base of this faith, he created another optical illusion system can be called 'scenographic space'. But the remainder of his works reveals many perspective installations mobilized as well as it. In this context, this study aimed to analyze the meaning and usage of these two space composition systems in the Palladio's architecture. For the purpose of it, a preliminary study examine the background of his idea and make a comparative analysis between the two systems, and then finally analyze the concrete works in compliance with the building types. And then, this study comes to the following conclusion. The scenographic space create the cognition of discontinuity which was produced by the perceptual mask perpendicular to the subject's eye. In opposition to it, the perspective techniques join the space between the subject and his outer world. In result, the viewer lost or attach his attention on the connection between the real and the virtual, the secular and the divine, and the inside and the outside. Palladio applied these two illusion systems to all types of his architecture. By means of it, he could achieve the desire of his patrons and reconstruct the classical architecture of the late renaissance age.

The research aims to expand the understanding of comparison psychology, encompassing social, cognitive, perceptual, and self-comparisons and their application in design practices. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: The study employs a comprehensive review of psychological theories related to comparison psychology. They were selected through extensive research on literature pertaining to design psychology and consumer behavior. The research integrates insights from psychology, marketing, consumer behavior, and design theory, supported by various design examples of retail stores, products, and advertising, to demonstrate the practical applications. Results: The findings reveal that comparison psychology significantly impacts consumer preferences and user experiences. For instance, the assimilation effect and prospect theory highlight how comparisons shape value judgments and design perceptions. Practical examples are used to illustrate the profound influence of comparative judgments in design. Conclusion: The study advocates for a "psychologically-informed approach" to design, promoting designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing and functionally sound but also psychologically aligned. By bridging the gap between psychological theories and practical design implementations, the research provides valuable insights for designers, marketers, and psychologists, enhancing the psychological efficacy of design.
