본 논문에서는 비디오 데이터 대한 구조적 내용과 의미적 내용에 효과적으로 표현하기 위해 비디오 모델링을 제안한다. 또한 사용자가 비디오 데이터에 대한 내용 정보를 쉽게 파악하고 재생할 수 있도록 하는 브라우징 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 모델링은 원시 데이터 계층, 내용 계층 그리고 키프레임 계층의 세 계층으로 구성되며 비디오 데이터에 대한 논리적인 계층 구조와 의미적 내용은 내용 계층에 표현한다. 비디오 브라우징은 비디오 재생과 내용 정보를 나타내는 두 가지 브라우저를 구현하였다. 비디오 재생 브라우저는 비디오를 재생과 현재화면 정보를 나타내는 기능을 수행한다. 내용 정보 브라우저는 원시데이터, 구조적 내용 그리고 의미적 내용에 대한 정보를 브라우징하는 기능을 제공한다.

본 논문에서는 브라우저 기반의 선언적 콘텐츠 CSS3 스타일시트를 이용하여 HTML5로 작성된 웹 페이지를 3차원 공간에서 3D 스테레오로 표현하기 위해 기존의 CSS 사양을 확장하여 새로운 CSS Stereo 3DTV 프로파일을 제안한다. 먼저, 웹브라우저상의 웹 콘텐츠를 3차원 공간에 효과적으로 재구성할 수 있도록 다양한 웹 페이지 분리 방법을 제시하였다. 디음, 확장한 CSS3 모듈을 이용하여 3D 뷰 볼륨 설정과 분리한 콘텐츠를 뷰 볼륨 내에 배치하는 방법을 제안하였다. 이후, 전처리기에서는 확장 CSS 사양으로 작성된 샘플 콘텐츠를 웹킷 기반 브라우저에서 출력 가능하도록 기존 CSS 코드로 변환한다. 마지막으로 스테레오 이미지 생성을 위한 시스템 렌더링 엔진 에뮬레이터는 웹브라우저상에서 간단히 실행 가능하도록 자바스크립트로 구현되었으며, 자동으로 스테레오 뷰 볼륨을 생성하여 가상의 좌안, 우안 카메라로부터 각각의 영상을 획득한다. 이를 통해 각 샘플 콘텐츠들이 3D 스테레오로 표현된 결과를 확인하였다.

One of the fundamental roles of web object navigation is to support what the user wants precisely and efficiently from the enormous web database to the web browser. As long as the web search results are a set of individual lists, it is all right to display each and every web result for the web browser to display a web object one by one. However, in case the search results are a collection of multiple interrelated web objects, then there is a need to represent for a new mechanism for linked web objects at a time. We define a unit of web objects derived from a Steiner tree where the web objects include a set of specific keywords calculated by the weight from which the solutions are extracted. Even if a web object does not include all the keywords, then the related hypertext linked web objects are derived and displayed onto the mobile web browser with meta data in one shot. In this paper, it is applied for the mobile browser that the web contents can dynamically be displayed with Steiner trees until each renewal of the navigation request may be issued. In this paper, a new synchronized mobile browsing method is developed so that the navigating time can drastically be reduced and the web navigating efficiency can be dramatically enhanced without sacrificing memory consumption.

본 논문은 HTML을 분석하여 추출된 내용을 음성으로 변환시키고, 웹 브라우저 제어 및 웹문서의 내용 지정을 위하여 음성인식을 사용하는 음성 웹 부라우저의 설계와 구현에 관한 것이다. 이 시스템의 특징은 보편적 설계기법을 사용하여 정상인과 시각장애인을 모두 고려하여 설계되었으며, 특히 시각장애인 인터페이스를 위하여 웹 문서의 구조를 쉽게 인식할 수 있는 트리 구조를 도입하였고, 웹 브라우저 상에 태그로 표현된 모든 요소를 추출하고, 각 요소에 따라 출력음성의 속성을 다르게 하여 별도의 요소 안내음성 출력이 없이 요소 특성을 인지할 수 있게 하였다. 이 방식은 음성 특징을 세부적으로 표현할 수 있는 청각 스타일 시트의 사용을 배제한 것으로써 웹 문서 작성자가 특별한 추가적 노력 없이, 사용자가 문서내의 구조와 요소들의 특징을 쉽게 인식할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

본 논문에서는 하나의 애플리케이션을 개발/제작하여 모바일 스마트폰, 인터넷TV, 인터넷PC에서 동일하게 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 3-Screen 영상서비스 시스템을 개발하였다. 개발시스템은 동일한 임베디드 웹 브라우저를 각 3-Screen 영상서비스 단말에 탑재하여 영상서비스를 제공하게 된다. 개발시스템의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 농업생활 정보 애플리케이션을 본 논문에서 개발한 임베디드 웹 브라우저를 각 모바일 스마트폰, IPTV에 탑재하여 LG유플러스 통신망을 통하여 성능시험을 실시하였다. 성능시험결과 3-Screen서비스가 각 단말에서 원활하게 제공됨을 확인하였다. 논문의 구현결과는 향후 3-Screen 기반의 다양한 애플리케이션 개발에 활용이 가능할 것이다.

The development of technology provides and increases security as well as convenience for humans. The development of new technology directly affects the standard of life thanks to smart home automatic control systems. This paper describes a door control, automatic curtain, home security (CCTV, fire, gas, safe, etc.), home control (energy, light, ventilation, etc.) and web-based smart home automatic controller. It also describes the use of ARM (Advanced RISC Machines) for automatic control of home equipment, a Multi-Axes Servo Controller using FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) and PLC (programmable logic controller). Additionally, it describes the development of a HTML editor using web auto control software. The tab loading time (7 seconds) is faster when using ARM-based web browser software instead of Chrome and Firefox is used because the browser has a small memory footprint (300M). This system is realized by web auto controller language which controls and uses PLCs that are easier than existing devices. This smart home automatic control technology can control smart home equipment anywhere and anytime and provides a remote interface through mobile equipment.

본 논문에서는 기존 서책형 교과서의 단점을 보완하기 위한 전자교과서의 기능을 정의한다. 또한 인터넷상에서 전자교과서를 상호운영하기 위하여 전자문서 교환 표준인 XML로 표현하기 위한 구체적 방법을 제안한다. 그리고 다양한 기능을 보여주기 위한 전자교과서를 설계하고 구현한다. 마지막으로 브라우저를 통하여 구현한 전자교과서를 다양한 상황에서 활용하는 예를 보인다.

PDA, 휴대폰 등 무선 기기의 발달과 대중화와 더불어 무선 인터넷의 사용이 활성화되고 있다. 이에 따라 기존 PC 브라우저뿐만 아니라 PDA등에서 검색할 수 있는 웹 컨텐츠의 수요가 증가하고 있으며, 풍부한 양질의 컨텐츠 제공을 위해 이미 제작된 유선 인터넷용 컨텐츠를 무선 인터넷에도 제공하기 위해 컨텐츠 변환 솔루션과 마크업 언어 통합 등의 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이기종 단말기를 지원하는 웹 컨텐츠 제작을 위해서 XSLT 엔진으로서 공개 소프트웨어를 사용하기 때문에 고비용의 부담이 없고, 사용하기에도 간편하여 기존 HTML을 사용하는 웹 프로그래머들도 DTD와 XSL에 대한 기본적인 사항만 학습하면 쉽게 사용할 수 있는 XML 기반의 웹 컨텐츠 제작 기법을 사례 개발을 통해 제안한다.

The web has become indispensable in all of our daily lives. We communicate, study and get information with others through the web. This behavior also continues in the smart phone environment. The biggest problem is that the small display screen of a smart phone degrades the accuracy in selecting or manipulating content for people with low vision. To compensate for this, voice guidance services that combine touch and voice, such as VoiceOver and Talkback, are currently provided to smart phone devices. However, restrictions arise in GUI, TTS control problems, and content expansion and selection. In addition, unnecessary content is also output by voice, which causes fatigue for low vision people to use. In this study, we propose a mobile web browser interface that selects and enlarges a desired area from web browsers and contents, or outputs it as a voice so that people with low vision can easily use the mobile web browser. In this paper, we propose a context selective focusing function that enables selection for each element of web content. In addition, we intend to develop a mobile voice web browser that can enlarge the selected content or output it by voice.

TV businesses that have brought a competitive structure in terms of price, definition, product design for a long time now are bringing User eXperience (UX) into relief as DTVs come to support broadcast information-related services such as various broadcast channels and Electronic Program Guide(EPG), etc., and playing of multimedia contents like music/videos, etc. This study worked on an evaluation by developing a UI to control easily the various and complex broadcast contents or multimedia contents provided by DTVs. The UI Design for new DTVs was developed based on Function, Flow and Form in the concept of Single ABC (Access, Browser and Control), and the usability test of the developed UI concept along with the UIs of the major DTV products, was done for Channel Managers and the multimedia browsers for 32 users of DTVs in the U.K./U.S., respectively. As a result of the usability test, the new concept of Channel Manager was evaluated high both in the U.K./U.S, while the multimedia browser was evaluated low in the U.S., relatively.
