패류중의 중금속 함량조사 (Survey on Contents of Heavy Metals in Shellfishes)

  • This survey was performed to find out the heavy metal concentrations in shellfishes. Experimental subjects were 60 cases in 10 kinds of shellfishes purchased in markets in july, august, 1987 and february, 1988. Contents of lead, cadmium, zinc, copper and mangangese were determined by atomic absorption spectrophotometer and mercury contents by mercury analyzer. The results were as follows: The range of mercury contents in shellfishes was from ND to 0.22 ppm, cadmium from 0.22 to 2.46 ppm, lead from 0.09 to 4.90 ppm, copper from 0.62 to 12.45 ppm, manganese from 0.09 to 13.8 ppm and zinc from 4.01 to 129.96 ppm.

  • The part I was for developing regression models to predict the moisture content, protein content and viscosity of brown and milled rice using Near Infrared(NIR) Reflectance analyzer. The purpose of this study(part II) is to measure fundamental data required for the prediction of rice quality, and to develop regression models to predict the protein content of brown and milled rice, brown rice yield from undried paddy powder by using Near Infrared(NIR) Reflectance analyzer. The results of this study were summarized as follows : The predicted values of protein contents obtained from the undried paddy powder were well correlated to the measured values from brown and milled rice. The predicted yields of brown rice from undried paddy powder were not well correlated to the lab measured values from dried paddy. Continuous study in wavelength selection and of constituent relationship is necessary for practical application.

잎담배 중 유리 아미노산 분석 (The Analysis of Free Amino Acids in Tobacco)

  • A simple and sensitive automatic amino acid analyzer method for the determination of free amino acids in tobacco was described. Sample preparation consisted of a single step of extraction with 0.1 mol HCl at ambient temperature in 60 min by sonication, followed by filtration of an aliquot. Automated amino acid analyzer was used to construct a post-column ninhydrin reaction unit to monitor amino acids separated by liquid chromatography using a series of eluting buffers. By optimization of sample preparation, separation of 19 amino acids was achieved. Limits of quantitation was 0.01 mg/g, coefficients of variation ranged from 0.5 % to 8.9 % and recoveries range from 85 % to 106 %. The method was applied to the analysis of amino acids contents of tobacco leaves in different varieties.

  • In the present report, the effects of blanching, steaming, and high temperature/high pressure processing (HTHP) on the amino acid contents of commonly consumed Korean root vegetables, leaf vegetables, and pulses were evaluated using an Automatic Amino Acid Analyzer. The total amino acid content of the samples tested was between 3.38 g/100 g dry weight (DW) and 21.32 g/100 g DW in raw vegetables and between 29.36 g/100 g DW and 30.55 g/100 g DW in raw pulses. With HTHP, we observed significant decreases in the lysine and arginine contents of vegetables and the lysine, arginine, and cysteine contents of pulses. Moreover, the amino acid contents of blanched vegetables and steamed pulses were more similar than the amino acid contents of the HTHP vegetables and HTHP pulses. Interestingly, lysine, arginine, and cysteine were more sensitive to HTHP than the other amino acids. Partial Least Squares-Discriminate Analyses were also performed to discriminate the clusters and patterns of amino acids.

폐광산지역 농산물, 토양 및 농경수의 중금속오염에 관한 연구 (Studies on Heavy Metal Contamination of Agricultural Products, Soils and Irrigation Waters in Abandoned Mines)

  • 전국 폐광지역(48곳) 평야지역(8곳) 농산물(280건), 토양(280건), 농경수(48건)를 채취하여 수은 함량은 Mercury analyzer로, 납, 카드뮴, 비소 등 중금속은 습식분해후 ICP, AAS등으로 분석하였다. 본 연구결과, 평야지역에 비해 폐광산지역의 토양에 있어 크롬을 제외한 수은, 납 등 중금속 함량이 더 높았으며 농경수에 있어서는 수은을 제외한 다른 중금속함량이 더 높았다. 폐광산지역의 농산물중 납, 카드뮴 등 중금속 함량은 평야지역에 비해 대체로 높은 편이었으나 구리 함량은 평야지역의 농산물이 다소 높았다. 토양과 농산물중 납 등 중금속함량간의 유의적인 상관관계는 관찰되지 않았다(p>0.05). 앞으로도 식품의 안전성 확보 및 국민건강증진차원에서 폐광산지역의 토양, 농산물중 중금속 함량에 대한 모니터링 사업이 지속적으로 수행되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

국내유통 과일류 중 유해중금속 함량 (Contents of Toxic Metals in Fruits Available on Korean Markets)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라에서 유통되는 과일류 중 유해중금속 함량을 파악하여 각국의 모니터링 및 기준과 비교함으로써 안전성을 평가하고자 하였다. 9종(386건)의 과일류에 대하여 4개 금속(Hg, Pb, Cd, As) 함량을 수은은 Mercury Analyzer로 납, 카드뮴, 비소는 습식분해 후 ICP 및 AAS로 분석하였다. 본 연구결과로부터 알아 낸 국내에서 유통되는 과일류 중 유해중금속 평균함량은 Hg 0.001 mg/kg, Pb 0.013 mg/kg, Cd 0.006 mg/kg, As 0.017 mg/kg으로 외국에서 보고된 결과와 유사한 수준이었다. 또한 우리나라 국민이 과일류를 통해 섭취하는 수은, 납, 카드뮴 등 유해중금속량은 FAO/WHO에서 설정한 잠정주간섭취허용량(PTWI)의 약 1-2% 수준으로 낮게 나타났다.

대중음식중의 총 수은 함량 측정 (Total Mercury Content of Restaurant Meals in Seoul Area)

  • 1988년 11월~12월 사이에 서울시내 각 식당에서 구득한 설렁탕외 10종의 대중식사 66건에 대한 수은함량을 수은분석기와 원자흡광광도계에 의하여 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 국물의 평균 수은 농도는 측정방법이나 기기의 종류에 따른 차를 인정할수 없었으며 그 농도는 0.002ppm 정도였다. 2. 고형물의 경우 평균 수은농도는 수은분석기의 분석치에 의하면 0.007ppm, 그리고 AAS 에 의한 분석결과는 0.027ppm~0.030ppm으로 나타났으며 분석방법에 따른 차이는 유의성이 인정되었다. (p<0.01). 3. 대중식사 3그릇으로부터 측정한 1일 평균 수은섭취율은 수은분석기에 의하면 $7.806\mu\textrm{g}/day$로 보사부에서 발표한 $12.6\mu\textrm{g}/day$보다 약간 낮았다. AAS에 의한 경우는 각기 $31.290\mu\textrm{g}/day$, $35.349\mu\textrm{g}/day$로 나타나 이 결과에 따른다 하더라도 FAO/WHO의 기준치인 $42.9\mu\textrm{g}/day$ 보다는 훨씬 낮았다.

상백피 품종에 따른 ${\gamma}$-Aminnobutyric acid 함량 비교 (Varietal Comparison of ${\gamma}$-Aminnobutyric acid Content in Mulberry Root Bark)

  • From mulberry root bark of 13 various varieties, ${\gamma}$-Aminnobutyric acid(GABA) contents were examined on HPLC analyzer. GABA contents in mulberry root bark were affected by genotypes. Average GABA content of the 13 mulberry varieties was 2.19 mg/gDW. GABA content of the varieties ranged from 1.70 to 2.62 mg/gDW. Among the three genotypes, GABA content of the Morus Lhou was higher than the other genotype. In GABA content Hongolppong was the highest with 2.62 mg/gDW on the 13 varieties of mulberry root bark.

동물원 사육동물의 총수은함량 조사 (Contents of Total Mercury in Zoo Animals)

  • In order to investigate the contents of total mercury in zoo animal located near in Seoul, we measured the contents of total mercury in fur and feather collected in zoo animal by the Mercury Analyzer. The contents of total mercury in mammals was $61.56\pm 20.32 \mu g/kg$, but in birds $659.49\pm 162.73 \mu g/kg$. Compared with feeding pattern, the contents of total mercury of omniverous and carniverous were detected higher than those of herbiverous in mammals, and also same as in birds. The contents of total mercury of Cuculidae and Ciconidae were detected highestly among classification of family in zoo animal, but those of Camelidae and Cervidae were detected lowestly. Of carniverous, 30.5% was higher than $1000 \mu g/kg$, but the ratio of omniverous detected less than $100 \mu g/kg$ was 45.5%, and in herbiverous 95.4%.
