The study was planned to analyze the figure concepts teachers have according to the years of experiences based on the two aspects, the subject matter knowledge and the pedagogical content knowledge. Further, it aims to have the results utilized in teacher education and training, and ultimately to help elementary school students to establish the accurate figure concepts. We administered the test to the random sample of 77 elementary school teachers of the grade 3 to grade 6, from nine schools of the Daegu, Ulsan and Gyeongsangbuk-do districts, and we analyzed the results. Correlational analysis between the years of experience and the knowledge showed that the content understanding and knowledge decreases as the years of experience increases, while the experiential knowledge related to the understanding of the students and the pedagogical methods increases as the years of experience increases.

In recent years, several technologies have brought many changes in the field of education. Nonetheless, it is difficult to get freely medical and professional knowledge in the educational environment. In this paper, we study a free medical education system for medical education through service to the Mashup offers a meta-search system. Received permission to use the system API to retrieve the content API, data retrieval systems and video content via the API to design a system, based on this medical education, meta-search system is implemented.

The purpose of this study is to explore and categorize the rhetorical strategies of text construction in research articles and to provide data for academic writing education for foreign graduate students. This study analyzes 30 research articles by Korean writers from Korean language and Korean language education fields, and categorizes the rhetorical strategies according to the roles of the writer as a RA form composer, a manager of research content, and a communicator. On the basis of the strategies, this study analyzes 18 term papers of foreign graduate students and inspects their weaknesses in using the rhetorical strategies. Based on the results of analysis, this study suggests rhetorical strategy education for KAP learners that emphasizes validity and clarifies argument along with attracting readers.

This case study explored the potential for implementing content-based English as a Foreign Language (EFL) instruction in a Korean middle school facilitated by computer-mediated communication (CMC). The instructor scaffolded the student participant's language learning online, helping her to produce English output on her own. While experimental social studies lessons on the topic of stereotyping were taught, data were collected on the student's online exchanges with her counterpart in Iran about their respective cultures. Findings show that the student from Korea was able to better understand her own culture as a result of the online experience. This interaction and the in-class lessons have demonstrated that content-based EFL instruction is a viable alternative to the school's existing curriculum.

This study attempts to examine the impact of a documentary film, on the perception and satisfaction with the public health insurance system in South Korea. It is needed that public support to expand health insurance coverage and to intensify national health insurance. The documentary film investigates health care in the United States, comparing with the non-profit universal health care systems of Canada, the United Kingdom, France and Cuba. So an online education content for the general education was developed using this film and the surveys were carried out to gather information about perception, satisfaction and opinion on national health insurance system before the lesson and after. And pared t tests were conducted to analyze the effects of this education content using the film on perception and attitudes towards national health insurance system. Based on the empirical results, the way to develop education contents for improving the understanding public health system and to verify the effect of education contents were discussed.

Purpose - Considering the importance of education as the base for countries' development, the results of various studies show that accounting education is not reconciled to business environment changes with huge defects in methods of education and knowledge transition. Research design, data, and methodology - By reviewing current research and considering the effect of 12 factors, the study traces and detects why accounting education is far from the business environment from viewpoints of academic and practitioner bodies. After testing for validity and reliability, 225 questionnaires were administrated among representatives of three groups. Results - Respondents were not satisfied with lack of specification of various scientific areas of accounting, that less attention is paid to accounting software education, and about the rarity of workshops for performing accounting skills and discordance between accounting education and standard rules. Conclusion - These findings agreed with Albrecht and Sack (2001) who stated that the current style of accounting education is very cluttered and incomplete and needs major adjustments: subjects of accounting education must be based on the grounds of work needs not on willing academics.

Coding education and algorithm education are essential in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. Text-oriented algorithm textbooks are perceived as difficult by students who are new to coding and algorithms. There is a need to develop educational content so that students can easily understand the principles of complex algorithms. This paper has implemented basic sorting algorithms as augmented reality contents for students who are new to algorithm education. To make it easier to understand the concept and principles of sorting algorithms, sorting data was expressed as a 3D box and the comparison of values according to the algorithms and the movement of values were produced as augmented reality contents in the form of 3D animations. In order to help with the understanding of sorting algorithms in C language, the change of variable values and the exchange of data were shown as animations according to the execution order of the code and the flow of the loop. Students can conveniently use contents through a smart phone without special equipment by being produced in a marker-based manner. Interest and immersion, as well as understanding of classes of sorting algorithms can be increased through educational augmented reality-based educational contents.

In order to overcome practical limitations in installing, managing and operating MRI machines with expensive equipment, this study developed and utilized virtual reality (VR) experience education by combining virtual reality (VR) with magnetic resonance imaging devices. The Students who experienced virtual reality-based educational systems were surveyed to identify possible side effects during the experience and self-directed learning ability and academic self-efficacy surveys were conducted to analyze the impact of virtual reality-based practice on learning. In the analysis of the self-directed learning ability survey there was no difference in the average between the student group who experienced education and the student group who did not but there was a significant difference in the average for each group. Virtual Reality-based practical education is expected to provide an efficient practice system by providing new learning methods and opportunities for education that can be repeated anytime, anywhere regardless of time and space.

Software in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is becoming a key foundation in an intelligent information society. Therefore, it is necessary to study the new direction of manpower training and education that can cope with the times. To this end, the Ministry of Education reorganized the curriculum and is implementing software education based on a logical problem-solving process based on computing thinking skills rather than acquiring general ICT knowledge. However, there is a lack of securing high-quality educational content for software education, and there is also a lack of teaching aids that can be taught in connection with advanced IT technologies. To overcome this, this paper proposes the development of external expansion devices to expand educational content and functions capable of convergent software education such as artificial intelligence using coding robots for software education. Through this, effective software education is possible by improving the curriculum of the existing simple problem-solving method and developing various learning materials.

Based on an ecological model of teacher agency, the purpose of this study was to examine the relevance of HE (home economics) subjects and CSE (comprehensive sexuality education) for HE teachers, and their implementation in HE classes. To achieve this, a survey was conducted with HE teachers nationwide for which 243 responses were collected, and interviews were conducted with five HE teachers who were actively practicing CSE. The results of the survey and interview were as follows. First, HE teachers strongly recognized the relevance of HE subjects and the topic of CSE with an average score of 4.63 (out of 5 points), and practiced CSE at an average of 72.23% (97.12%~43.21%) in their class. Second, based on the ecological approach model of teacher agency, the factors facilitating the CSE practice of HE teachers included: childbirth and parenting experienced as parents, experiences of students encountering sexual problems in school, the philosophy and content of HE subjects, positive feedback from students and support from fellow teachers, and intention to help students in their lives. Conversely, HE teachers cited a lack of sexual education experience as learners, complaints from parents, weakness of HE teacher networks, lack of specific statements in curriculum and textbooks, insufficient class content and teacher training, and lack of absolute class time. This study is significant in revealing that CSE is highly relevant to the contents of HE subjects and is already being practiced in HE classes.
