  • Presently, the demand for IPTV, to satisfy a variety of goals, is exploding. IPTV is coming into the spotlight as a killer application in upcoming IP convergence networks such as triple play which is the delivery of voice, internet, and video service to a subscriber. IPTV utilizes CAS, which controls the subscriber access to content for a profit. Although the current CAS scheme provides access control via subscriber authentication, there is no authentication scheme for the content transmitted from service providers. Thus, there is a vulnerability of security, through which an adversary can forge content between the service provider and subscribers and distribute malicious content to subscribers. In this paper, based on a hash tree scheme, we proposed efficient and strong source authentication protocols which remove the vulnerability of the current IPTV system. We also evaluate our protocol from a view of IPTV requirements.

  • With the development of various devices and Internet platforms, production and demand for content are increasing rapidly. However, effective response to exponentially increasing data usage is difficult in current TCP/IP schemes. As a result, with the emergence of an alternative called CCN, data can be transmitted and received from the host-centered to the content-oriented, and large-capacity content can be handled with more mitigated network resources. In this paper, we will address intermediate node mobility, which is one of the areas studied in CCN. In CCN, real-time services are a very important factor for information providers as well as requestors. However, when a node departure situation occurs, packet transmission and transmission speed decreases. Therefore, to ensure these numbers, even if the intermediate node deviates using a dual path, it provides a complete QoS (Quality of Service) using an alternative path.

  • In this paper, in today's highly complex video and broadcast operations, broadcasters are constantly challenged to reliably deliver low-latency, high-quality video to multiscreen audiences on-air and online. The Adaptive Bit Rate (ABR) protocols enable internet video to a wide range of multiscreen devices. However, video quality is often marginal and would prove unacceptable for valued linear broadcast content delivered to the Big Screen today. The Media information processing technology advances in ABR enables service providers to take control and offer quality managed linear video services to ALL screens in the home, including the Big Screen, with a single unified IP Video infrastructure. The New Multiscreen-Assisted ABR (MSA-ABR) delivery management system proposed using Cloud based multicast-assisted ABR for a broadcast facility that performs routing of contribution content and online publishing services within a virtual, centralized cloud infrastructure.

  • Antitumor polyacetylenlc alcohol, panaxytriol (Ci7 H2603), was isolated and purified from a Powder of the root of Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer. Panaxytriol Possesses unusual Property of being soluble in both water and organic solvents. Panaxytriol inhibited the growth of various kinds of human cultured cell lines in dose-dependent fashion in vitro. The in vivo effects of panaxytriol were tested against C57BU6 mice transplanted with Bl6 melanomas. Panaxytriol (8 and 40 mg/kg) administered intramuscularly (im) produced significant tumor growth delays in mice. Although a detailed mechanism of growth inhibition by panaxytriol is unknown, preliminary results appear to implicate a surface membrane site of action. And its action seems to be more dose-dependent than time-dependent. Finally, panaxytriol pharmacokinetics was evaluated in mice given single 8 mgrkg doses intraperitoneally(ip) or im. Serum panaxytriol content was measured using both tumor growth inhibitory assay and a gas chromatographic method. The maximum serum panaxytriol content after ip and im administration was 35.0 and 1.61 ug/ml respectively. These results indicate that the compound may act as cytotoxic substance even in-patients. • We report in this study the synthesis of mixed matrix reverse osmosis membranes by interfacial polymerization (IP) of thin film nanocomposite (TFNC) on porous polysulfone supports (PS). This paper investigates the synthesis of ZnO nanoparticles (NPs) using the sol-gel processing technique and evaluates the performance of mixed matrix membranes reached by these aerogel NPs. Aqueous m-phenyl diamine (MPD) and organic trimesoyl chloride (TMC)-NPs mixture solutions were used in the IP process. The reaction of MPD and TMC at the interface of PS substrates resulted in the formation of the thin film composite (TFC). NPs of ZnO with a size of about 25 nm were used for the fabrication of the TFNC membranes. These membranes were characterized and evaluated in comparison with neat TFC ones. Their performances were evaluated based on the water permeability and salt rejection. Experimental results indicated that the NPs improved membrane performance under optimal concentration of NPs. By changing the content of the filler, better hydrophilicity was obtained; the contact angle was decreased from $74^{\circ}$ to $32^{\circ}$. Also, the permeate water flux was increased from 26 to 49 L/m2.h when the content of NPs is 0.1 (wt.%) with the maintaining of lower salt passage of 1%.

  • CCN, which has emerged to overcome the limitations of existing network structures, enables efficient networking by changing the IP Address-based network method to the Content-based network method. At this time, the contents are stored on each node(router) rather than on the top server, and considering the limitation of storage capacity, it is very important to determine which contents to store and release through the cache policy, and there are several cache policies that have been studied so far. In this paper, two of the existing cache policies, producer popularity-based and distance-based, were mixed. In addition, the mixing ratio was set differently to experiment, and we proved which experiement was the most efficient one.

  • This study concluded that smart glass can combine realistic media and reasonable technologies to compensate for the disappointment of simple one-dimensional board game contents, suggest various games to board game contents that were only possible through advertisements and promotions, and can promote board games, tourism services, and insufficient tourism contents. Content development is highly complete as an educational content in that it can be omitted or repeated by customers, and it is expected to be a board game using interesting smart glasses for the MZ generation.

  • Acute toxicity of pectenotoxin 2 (PTX2) was examined in mice. Treatment of mice with a toxic dose of PTX2 resulted in clinical signs such as ataxia, cyanosis and an abrupt decrease in body temperature. Histopathological studies revealed that the liver is the major target organ for PTX2. Activities of serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and sorbitol dehydrogenase (SDH) were significantly elevated by PTX2 administration. Glucose-6-phosphatase activities were not changed by the treatment. The PTX2 treatment decreased relative liver weight without changing the body weight. The effect of PTX2 on hepatic drug metabolizing enzyme system was determined. An ip dose of PTX2 (200 $\mu$g/kg) induced a significant decrease in the hepatic microsomal protein content. Cytochrome P-450 content, cytochrome b$_5$ content, NADPH cytochrome c reductase, aminopyrine N-demethylase activities, or hepatic glutathione content were not altered by PTX2 treatment.

  • Wireless communication offers the flexibility to the node movement at the spatial dimension more than the wire communication not only in IP architecture but also in Content-Centric Networking. Although it gives such advantage, the intra-domain movement of a node especially the data source node affects the communication to the access point node which in the end affects the acceptance ratio of the client node that requests the data packets from the data source node. In this paper, we use time-division access method to maintain the acceptance ratio of the client node as the effect of the intra-domain data source node movement in Content-Centric Networking. The simulation result shows that the acceptance ratio of the client node can be maintained using the time-division access method as long as the interval access time is less than the coherence time.
