남성복 구매형태에 따른 정보원 선택, 위험지각, 추구혜택의 차이에 관한 비교 연구 (The Comparative Study on the Differences among Choice of Information Source, Risk Perception and Benefits Sought According to the Purchase Type of the Men's Suits)

  • The purpose of this study to compare the purchasing behaviour of men's business suits, among custom suits, system order, and ready-made suits, centering around the choice of information source, risk perception and benefits sought. The survey of this study was collected from 450 adult male in Seoul. The data was analyzed by factor analysis and ANOVA. The result of this study were as follows : 1. Custom suits, system order, and ready-made suits consumers have a significant difference in the choice of information source. The consumer attaching most importance to the impersonal information source is the system order users, custom suits users, and ready-made suits users respectively. However there was no significant difference in the personal source among 3 different purchasing behaviour of men's suits. 2. For the risk perception, 1) the group who perceived the highest in economic risk is the system order users, followed by custom suits users, and ready-made suits users. 2) the group who perceived performance risk as being the highest concern is the ready-made suits consumers, followed by system order user, and custom suits user. 3) the group who perceived the socio-psychological risk as the highest is the ready-made suits consumers, and followed by custom suits user and system order users. 4) there is no difference among the three groups with respect to the fashionability loss risk. 5) the group of the highest perceiving the useful loss risk is the ready-made suits consumers, and the next is system order users, custom suits users. 6) the group of the highest perceiving the time and convenience loss risk is ready-made suits users, and the next is system order users, custom suits users. 3. For the benefit sought, the group of the highest perceiving the aesthetics is custom suits consumers, and the next is system order users, ready-made suits users.

찌개 HMR (Home Meal Replacement)에 대한 L.A. 지역 미국 소비자들의 태도, 인식 조사 및 기호도 조사 (A Study on the Attitude, Perception, and Preference of Jjigae HMR (Home Meal Replacement) for Americans in L.A. Area)

  • This study was performed to examine attitude, perception, and sensory evaluation of Jjigae HMR (Home Meal Replacement) for Americans in the L.A. area. Attitude and perception of Jjigae were conducted by 128 consumers. The questions were as follows: 1) frequencies and attitude toward soup and stew, 2) experience and frequency of Korean food intake, 3) awareness of Korean Jjigae. A total of 69.5% of American had previous experience with Korean foods. However, the frequencies of Korean food intake were once every few months (27.4%) or once a year (18.9%). The 20.2% of consumers selected Kimchi-jjigae as the best-known Korean Jjigae, and 17.1% of consumers had previous experience with Kimchi-jjigae. However, the 23.7% of consumers did not have experienced with Jjigae. Sensory evaluation was conducted using Sundubu-jjigae and Kimchi jjigae. Overall liking and flavor liking were conducted by Americans using a nine-point scale (1: Dislike extremely - 9: Like extremely). The degree of intensity for sensory attribute was also rated using a nine-point Just-About-Right(JAR) scale (1: not nearly spicy/sour enough, 5: Just-About-Right, 9: too spicy/sour). Purchasing intention was rated using a five-point scale (1: Definitely would not purchase, 5: Definitely would purchase). Overall liking and flavor liking of two jjigae (Sundubu-jjigae & Kimchi-jjigae) had a value higher than five on the nine-point scale. The level of spiciness of Sundubu-jjigae was suitable for consumers whereas spiciness of Kimchi-jjigae was significantly different from the JAR value of five points on the nine-point JAR scale, showing that Kimchi-jjigae was significantly spicier than JAR point. Purchasing intention had a value higher than three on the five-point scale.

게슈탈트 이론에 의한 패션광고 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the effect of Fashion Ads based on the Theory of Gestalt Psychology)

  • Gestalt psychology is a theory of psychology to organize separate stimuli perceived by people's vision to incorporate them into significant types, and this also is applied in terms of the brand awareness of consumers. This study considered which influence the Gestalt psychology theories have upon the fashion consumers' information processing in fashion advertisement. The results are as follows. The principles of the totality and the perceptual organization in the Gestalt psychology are allowing fashion consumers to perceive information through advertisement and to be capable of understanding it a little more easily and clearly in the process. As for the principle of totality, an integrated Gestalt was formed by combining the stimulant elements of fashion ads and the brand schema of consumers. The principles of figure and background that were part of the perceptual organization theory enabled the consumers to pay attention to, choose and focus on some of the objects of perception in an easier and faster way. The principle of perceptual grouping was used to draw attention from the consumers by simplifying the objects of perception and then by combining them or making them look complete. Therefore the more advanced application of the principles and laws of Gestalt psychology is expected to make fashion consumers' way of looking at ads more well balanced and positive in a more efficient and convincing manner.

소비자 성별에 따른 상품 유형별 관심도 차이, 내재적 혁신성과의 상관관계 및 상품 지각 구조 분석 (Difference of Product Interest and Relation to Innate Innovativeness, and Perceptive Construct of Products according to Consumers' Gender)

  • This study investigated difference of product interest and its relation to consumers' innate innovativeness according to gender as well as compared the perceptive construct of products between male and female consumers. A survey involving male and female college students was conducted in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk areas in December 2013. Subsequently, 400 responses were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlations, independent sample t-test, reliability analysis, ANCOVA, and multidimensional scaling. Among 45 products, male respondents showed a significantly high degree of interest over 12 categories such as watches, desktop computers, cars, sports products, and video games compared to females. The female sample showed a significantly high degree of interest for 29 product categories such as clothing, movies, skin care shops, cosmetics, eating-out, teeth whitening, coffee, cameras, and performances compared to males. Innovative male consumers were interested in traveling, movies, clothing, eating-out, running shoes, and wallets; however, female consumers' innovativeness was significantly related to previously determined items of interest. Two dimensions explaining the male consumers' products perception construct were 'hard versus soft' and 'usual versus special'. Instead, female consumers' were 'special versus usual' and 'expressive versus functional'.

인공지능 스피커 사용 동기 형성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Motivation of Artificial Intelligence Speaker)

  • In this study, I researched whether consumers would adopt artificial intelligence speakers. A study was conducted on the motivations that arise when consumers want to use artificial intelligence speakers. Key motivational factors include needs and wants, and emotion is also included in the hypothesis as influencing the intended use. These factors have modeled the motivational process in which consumers want to use artificial intelligence speakers. In the empirical study, the survey was conducted and the survey data was analyzed by applying the method of analysis of the structural equation model. As a result of empirical research, consumers' expectations to meet their general needs for artificial intelligence speakers affected their expectations to meet their wants and their favorable perceptions. And consumers' expectations of meeting their quasi-desire for artificial intelligence speakers have affected their expectations of meeting the wants and affected their perception of favorability. Finally, consumers' expectations for satisfying their wants and their perception of favorability affected their intention to use artificial intelligence speakers. The implications of this study is that it helps to formulate strategies for information technology products with combined functionality. The specific components of motivation can play an important role in increasing consumers' intention to use artificial intelligence speakers.

태국 소비자의 한국산 파프리카 및 토마토에 대한 인식과 지불의사에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Thai Consumers' Perception and Willingness to Pay for Korean Paprika and Tomatoes)

  • This study investigated Thai consumers' perception and willingness to pay for Korean paprika and tomatoes to establish effective export strategies, To this end, an online survey was conducted on 300 consumers living in Bangkok, Thailand, and the factors affecting the purchase intent and willingness to pay price premium for Korean paprika and tomatoes were analyzed. The results are as follows. First, Thai consumers usually buy fruit and vegetables offline, such as supermarkets and large discount stores, but not a few respondents obtained purchase information online. Second, the price competitiveness of Korean paprika and tomatoes is low to Thai products, and the quality, safety, freshness, and cost-effectiveness are similar or low to other exporting countries. Therefore it is important to improve non-price competitiveness using positive perceptions of Korean products and Korean Wave. Third, the most important reason why Thai consumers not buying Korean paprika and tomatoes is the lack of stores and high prices. Fourth, as a result of analyzing the factors affecting the purchase intent for Korean paprika and tomatoes, the strategy of selling paprika and tomatoes through supermarkets to consumers with high income is effective. Fifth, considering the factors of willingness to pay premium prices for Korean paprika and tomatoes, a high pricing strategy targeted consumers with high income and many family members is appropriate.

700MHz대역 주파수 분배정책에 대한 소비자인식 (Consumers' Perception on the Allocation Policy of 700MHz Band for Efficient Broadcasting Environment)

  • 본 연구는 700MHz 대역 주파수 분배안 확정과 관련하여 지상파 방송과 이동통신 분야에서 주장하는 바에 대하여 소비자들이 그 효과를 얼마나 인식하고 있으며, 어느 분야에 분배하는 것을 더 지지하고 있는가를 살펴보았다. 연구 결과 첫째, 소비자들은 700MHz대역 주파수를 방송분야와 이동통신분야 각각에 대해 분배하는 것이 긍정적 효과와 부정적 효과가 모두 있다고 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 700MHz대역 주파수 분배안 정책에 대한 소비자의 지지도를 살펴본 결과 방송과 이동통신 두 분야 모두에 분배해야 한다고 응답한 비율이 43%로 가장 높아 정부의 700MHz 주파수 분배정책은 소비자 측면에서 볼 때 바람직하게 분배되었다고 볼 수 있었다. 이 연구는 700MHz대역 주파수 분배정책과 관련하여 방송과 이동통신의 특정 분야의 입장에 치우치지 않고 중도적인 입장에서 소비자의 인식을 조사한 것에 연구의 의의가 있다.

광고 창의성 평가에 대한 광고주, 광고 제작자, 소비자 간의 상호인식 연구: 상호지향성 모델의 확장 적용 (Mutual Perceptions among Clients, Agencies, and Consumers on the Evaluation of Ad Creativity: Extending Application of the Co-Orientation Model)

  • 본 연구는 확장된 상호지향성 모델을 적용하여 광고 창의성 평가에 대한 광고주, 광고 제작자, 소비자 간의 상호인식을 살펴보고자 했다. 이를 위해 창의성이 있다고 평가된 광고물을 대상으로 광고 창의성 평가척도로 타당성이 확보된 독창성, 적합성, 명료성, 상관성에 대해 광고주, 광고 제작자, 소비자 간의 객관적 일치도와 주관적 일치도, 정확도 등을 살펴보았다. 분석결과를 살펴보면, 객관적 일치도의 경우 광고주와 제작자 사이에서 비교적 높게 나타나고, 제작자와 소비자 사이에서는 비교적 낮게 나타났다. 주관적 일치도는 광고주 차원에서는 비교적 높게 나타나고 있으나 제작자 차원에서는 비교적 낮게 나타났다. 정확도의 경우는 제작자 인식과 광고주가 생각하는 제작자 인식, 소비자 인식과 제작자가 생각하는 소비자 인식에서는 높게 나타났으나 광고주 인식과 제작자가 생각하는 광고주 인식에서는 낮게 나타났다. 이 연구결과를 바탕으로 광고주나 광고 제작자는 광고 창의성에 대한 소비자의 생각을 많이 고려할 필요가 있다.

Effects of campus dining sustainable practices on consumers' perception and behavioral intention in the United States

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Sustainability has become one of the top priorities in the foodservice industry. With an increase in consumer interest in sustainability and educational opportunities in higher education, it is important to know what sustainable practices are implemented in campus dining and how sustainable practices affect consumers' responses. This study aims to identify the key sustainable practices in the campus dining context, and investigate the relationship by applying the stimulus-organism-response framework to determine whether the key sustainable practices influence consumers' perception and behavioral intentions. SUBJECTS/METHODS: The self-administered online survey was distributed to college students in 8 dining halls at a large southeastern university in the United States from September 20-October 10, 2019. A total of 382 valid questionnaires were collected, and factor analysis and multiple regressions were utilized to test the research model. RESULTS: This study identified 4 dimensions of campus sustainability with a total of sustainable practices: sustainable food, waste management, energy/water conservation, and recycling/reuse. Three dimensions of sustainable campus practices (i.e., sustainable food, waste management, recycling/reuse) played a significant role in consumers forming a perceived value while energy/water conservation did not significantly influence the consumers' perceived value toward the campus dining. Waste management was identified as the most important practice to enhance consumers' perceived value (β = 0.330). Using sustainable food and recycling/reuse were ranked second and third, respectively (β = 0.262, β = 0.154). The findings confirmed the significant positive relationship between perceived value and revisit intentions. CONCLUSIONS: The findings support the inclusion of dining sustainability as a critical component in explaining college students' perceived value and revisit intention toward campus dining. Furthermore, this study provides practical implications for university administrators and foodservice operators to consider the key sustainable practices to meet the consumers' value and revisit intentions.

쇠고기 원산지 이미지가 소비자 품질지각, 태도 및 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Country-of-origin image of Beef on Consumer's Quality Perception, Attitude and Purchase Intention)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 쇠고기 원산지 이미지가 소비자 품질지각, 태도 및 구매 의도의 효과를 조사하는 것이다. 실증 분석 대상자는 서울 지역 소재인 쇠고기를 구매한 경험이 있는 일반인을 대상으로 2010년 12월 27일부터 2011년 1월 10일까지 15일 동안 300부를 배포하여 불성실한 설문 56부를 제외한 244부를 분석 자료로 사용 하였다. 첫째, 쇠고기 원산지 이미지는 소비자들의 품질지각, 태도 및 구매 의도에 유의한 영향 관계를 가진다. 둘째, 소비자들의 품질지각은 소비자 태도 구매의도에 정의 영향 관계를 가진다. 셋째, 소비자의 태도는 구매 의도에 정의 영향 관계를 가진다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과, 쇠고기 원산지에 대한 국가 이미지가 소비자 품질지각, 태도 및 구매의도 모두 유의한 영향 관계가 있는 것으로 판단되며, 아래와 같이 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 쇠고기의 원산지 이미지를 향상시키기 위해서 쇠고기를 친환경적으로 사육하고, 정기적인 검진 통을 통하여 위생적이고 안정적인 제품 생산을 하고 이에 적극적인 홍보 활동을 강화함으로써 쇠고기 이미지를 증대 시킬 수 있는 방안을 마련해야 할 것이다.
