소비자 감성에 기반한 텍스타일디자인 예측시스템 개발(I) - 효율적인 텍스타일디자인 방법 제안 - (A Development of a Forecasting System of Textile Design based on Consumer Emotion(I) - Suggestion of an Efficient Textile Design Method -)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the effects of the elements of textile design on consumer emotion and to develop the emotion model which is suitable for the textile design. The descriptive system of textile design was developed based on the previous studies. Emotion measurement scale was developed to analyze the consumer emotion for the textile design. 20 representative types of textile design were collected as stimuli set for this study, consumer emotion on each design type was examined and was analyzed through the survey. For the data analysis, principal component analysis was employed. As a result, 8 emotional factors such as 'Modern', 'Fun', 'Natural', 'Elegance', 'Classic', 'Ethnic', 'Wild' and 'Sporty' were derived from the results of the survey. Emotion measurement scale which consisted of 8 factors was developed to analyze the effects of the elements of textile design on consumer emotion and 80 representative types of textile design were collected. In addition, the emotion which consumers feel for the textile design types was investigated and each textile design was described according to the descriptive system of textile design. Statistical methods of pearson correlation and multiple regression were employed to analyze the relationship between the elements of textile design and consumer emotion. The results of this study revealed that 15 design elements which affected consumer emotion were the size of motives, the shape of motives, the degree of tone contrast among motives etc. This study findings can provide specific design methods for the effectiveness of consumer emotion.

기술에 대한 소비 감정, 태도와 구매행동 및 대응전략 연구-하이테크제품을 중심으로 (A Study of Consumption Emotions of Technology, Consumer Attitude, Purchasing Behavior and Coping Strategy Associated with High-tech Products)

  • The purposes of this study were to explain consumer attitude and purchasing behavior, and coping strategy considering consumption emotions of technology and individual characteristics associated with high-tech products. The results of this study were as follows: consumer attitude was found to be somewhat favorable and a half of the respondents had some purchasing experience of high-tech products. Many consumers were more likely to perceive consumption emotion and some of coping strategies were found to be preferred to others. Then consumer attitude was found to be significantly influenced by some of the consumption emotion, while other individual characteristics were found to be insignificant. In addition, the purchasing experience was found to be significantly influenced by consumer attitude, marital status and education. Finally, each kind of consumption emotion might have a relation to several coping strategies.

Neuroaesthetics: A Concise Review of the Evidence Aimed at Aesthetically Sensible Design

  • In recent years, advancing technology and growing interest in neuromarketing and neurobranding have led to foundational research that facilitates a better understanding of consumers' affective responses and unconscious information processing. However, the areas of aesthetics and design have remained largely unaffected by such advances and implications. The purpose of this study is to present a systematic review of the neuroscientific evidence aimed at sensible design for design and marketing researchers interested in exploring neuroaesthetics, an interdisciplinary area by nature. Sciencedirect, EBSCO, and the Google Scholar database were searched in February 2014 to select and review previous studies of aesthetics involving neuroscience. Twenty-eight studies were reviewed and divided into two categories: reward system and emotion. In addition to discussions on previous approaches, future research directions focusing on the process of aesthetic judgments (e.g., design elements, marketing stimuli) are proposed.

Through researching the activities of target user and analyzing the present market, we get the clear understanding of direction for storage design, and create a new domain of for storages, with its added value and competition too. 온라인 패션점포의 품절에 대한 소비자 반응: 심리적 반발심과 감정의 매개효과를 중심으로 (Consumer Responses to Stockouts in Online Fashion Stores: Indicating Effects of Psychological Reactance and Emotion)

  • This study intended to explore fundamental causes affecting consumers' response actions from psychological factors in the situation of sellout occurring during shopping in online fashion stores. In addition, this study devised a virtual online shop in order to measure consumers' cognitive and emotional psychological responses they experienced when goods were sold out. The subjects involved women in 20s~30s, major customers of online shopping, and the subjects were randomly allocated to one of eight questionnaire forms (2(stockout size: high vs low)${\times}2$(product assortment similarity: similar vs. dissimilar)${\times}2$(restocking cue: included vs excluded)). The number of final data used for the analysis was 336 and through SPSS 21.0 program, two-way ANOVA and bootstrap were utilized. The analysis result was that consumers' psychological responses (emotions, psychological reactance) of online shops differed by means of varying stockout situations. The stockout size had positive effect on psychological reactance and negative emotions. On the other hand, there was no difference in positive emotions (arousal) according to stockout size. In stockout situation of online fashion store, the moderating effect of product assortment similarity and restocking cues were verified. According to the analysis result, interaction effects between stockout size and restocking cues, product stockout size and product assortment for psychological reactance were significant. Lastly, the mediation effect of psychological reactance and emotion between stockout size and behavioral response was tested. As a result, the moderated mediation effects of psychological reactance for substitute were significant when product assortment was dissimilar and restocking cue was exclude.

현대 패션에 나타난 디지털 테크놀로지의 감성적 구현에 관한 연구 (A study on the emotional representation of the digital technology shown in the contemporary fashion)

  • The digital technology that has brought about the information revolution acts as the causes of multi-faceted socio-cultural phenomena. The spread of the digital environment and the popularity of the digital devices accelerate the phenomenon or the fusion of culture and technology, and such a phenomenon is no exception in the fashion design. Namely, the combination of fashion design and digital-based technology draws more and more attention; Not only the technology is simply applied to the fashion design, but also it is used as an emotional tool to enhance consumers' satisfaction, while some designs and marketing cases stimulating consumers' emotion are highlighted importantly. This study was aimed at surveying and analyzing the contemporary fashion using the digital technology and thereupon, assessing the characteristics of the emotional representations of technology as well as their aesthetic values. To this end, the theory of 'science of emotion and sensibility' was applied to divide the characteristics of emotional technological expressions in the contemporary fashion into immateriality, non-boundary, multi-media and interaction, while the aesthetic values of the emotional technology immanent in the contemporary fashion were categorized into communication & participation, conceptual configuration, physical expansion and variable movement. This study analyzed uses of technology for human emotion and sensibility shown in not only collections but also communication media and exhibition spaces and thereby, suggested the direction for our fashion industry to fulfill consumers' changing needs and advance further.

브랜드 정보 인식요인들이 브랜드 공감에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Brand Awareness Factors on Brand Resonance)

  • 기업은 수익 극대화 및 새로운 고객유치와 기존고객 이탈방지를 위해 강력한 브랜드 공감을 형성하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 브랜드 정체성에 대한 인지, 브랜드 성과, 브랜드 감정으로 이어지는 브랜드 인식요인들과 브랜드 애착과의 관계를 살펴보고, 브랜드 애착이 브랜드 공감을 형성하는데 어떠한 역할을 하는지 검증하였다. 결과적으로, 브랜드 인식요인 중 브랜드 감정이 브랜드 애착에 영향을 미치고 브랜드 공감을 형성하는 핵심요인임을 확인하였다. 또한 소비자들의 진정한 브랜드 공감이 형성되기까지 브랜드 정체성에 대한 인지가 정립되면, 브랜드에 대한 차별적 성과를 통하여 브랜드에 대한 진정한 가치를 경험하게 되고 소비자들의 감성적 반응을 높인다. 이는 브랜드에 대한 애착을 통해 브랜드와 소비자와의 깊은 결속으로 이어지며, 브랜드와 상호작용하고 높은 브랜드 공감적 행동을 보여 주는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 디자인 조형화 과정에 있어서 최근에는 소비자들의 참여가 점차 늘어나고 있는 추세이며, 소비자들은 제품의 형태에 대한 직접적인 평가나 제안을 하기도 하며, 기업에서도 이러한 소비자들의 참여를 유도하기 위한 다양한 방안을 제시하고 있다. 하지만 근본적으로 제품의 형태를 다루는 데에 있어서 소비자와 디자이너는 어느 정도의 시각 차이를 가지고 있으며, 이는 곧 제품 조형화 과정에 있어서 소비자와 디자이너의 효과적인 커뮤니케이션에 방해요소로 작용하고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 소비자와 디자이너의 제품 형태에 대한 감성반응에 대한 특징을 통해 소비자의 감성반응을 이끌어 낼 수 있는 효과적인 가이드라인을 알아보는 방법을 연구하였다. 이러한 소비자와 디자이너의 제품 형태에 대한 감성반응을 알아보기 위한 실험을 진행하였는데, 먼저 제품 형태 기반의 감성 이미지 어휘에 대한 정립을 진행하였다. 정립된 이미지 어휘를 기반으로 각각 소비자와 디자이너에게 동일한 실험을 진행하였다. 실험 결과, 소비자와 디자이너의 형태에 대한 감성 반응은 유의한 성향을 띄게 되는데 이 때 디자이너가 소비자에 비해 보다 극적인 반응을 나타내는 특징이 나타났다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 텍스트 마이닝과 소셜 네트워크 분석을 활용한 소비자 맞음새 평가의 주요 특징을 규명하는 것이다. 이를 위해 SNS에서 수집된 소비자의 2,000여건의 의복 맞음새 평가 후기로부터 의복 맞음새 관련된 텍스트 데이터를 추출하고 의미연결망 분석과 CONCOR 분석을 수행하였다. 연구 결과, '팬츠'와 '스커트'가 많은 맞음새평가어를 공유하며 다양한 형태로 평가되는 것을 확인하였고 의복의 길이가 가장 많이 평가되었다. 인체부위 중 '허리'는 다양한 의복의 맞음새를 평가하는 가장 중요한 부분이며 의복 맞음새평가어 중 '넓은', '큰', '와이드한', '긴' 등이 가장 많이 사용되는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 소비자 맞음새 평가에 사용된 언어의 구조적 관계와 의미를 구체적으로 규명하고 의복 맞음새의 향상을 위한 실증적 기초 자료를 제공하는데 의의가 있다.

소셜커머스 환경에서 소비자들의 충동구매에 관한 연구: 플로우와 감정의 역할 (A Study on Customers' Impulsive Buying in Social Commerce Environment: The Role of Flow and Emotion)

  • Given to the prevalence of social commerce such as Groupon, Ticketmonster, and Coupang, it has become critical to understand customer purchasing behavior in social commerce environments. When consumers make purchasing decisions in social commerce, they often act impulsively. This is because social commerce is a deal-of-the-day website that features discounted gift certificates usable at local companies. However, the vast majority of social commerce research has viewed consumer decision-making as a rational process. This study develops a theoretical framework to investigate key drivers of customer's impulsive purchasing in social commerce. This study identifies flow, positive emotion, negative emotion, social commerce attractiveness, and discounted price as the key antecedents of impulsive purchasing. Data collected from 164 users who had prior purchasing experiences with social commerce were empirically tested against the research model using partial least squares analysis. The analysis results indicate that flow plays an important role in facilitating customers' impulsive purchasing in social commerce environments. Moreover, the findings show the exact roles of positive emotion, negative emotion, social commerce attractiveness, and discounted price on consumer's impulsive purchasing.
