A Study on Changes of Ready Constructed Record in Landscape Construction Industry (조경건설업의 기성실적 변동 특성)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze on changes of ready constructed record(RCR) in landscape construction industry for 10 years from 1997 to 2006. For the study, according to the classification system of Korea construction industry, landscape construction industry were classified into landscape constructor as a general constructor, landscape planting constructor and landscape facilities constructor as special constructors. The results are as follows: 1. The RCR in landscape construction industry have increased for 10 years higher than other construction industry. Concretely the RCR ratio of landscape constructor has increased 0.9% in 1997 to 1.9% in 2006, the RCR ratio of landscape planting constructor 1.3% to 2.5%, and the RCR ratio of landscape facilities constructor 0.5% to 1.5%. Futhermore this increasing trend has been strengthened during the last a few years. 2. Differently from landscape constructor, the subcontract ratio of landscape planting constructor and landscape facilities constructor were higher, especially landscape facilities constructor was highest amount for 71.1% in the subcontract ratio. 3. The RCR of landscape construction industry in the metropolitan area including Seoul, Kyunggi, was higher than other region's, and the ratio of RCR of landscape constructor in this area was 53.5%, landscape planting constructor's 58.2%, and landscape facilities constructor 75.0%. 4. The yearly RCR per company and the RCR by project of landscape constructor and landscape planting constructor were stagnant. However, landscape facilities constructor's RCR showed an upward trend as years go by. This study was focused on the RCR of landscape construction industry, further study on the factors to affect the RCR of landscape construction industry and the RCR by project types is required in the near future.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the rational plans of Construction Policies under Product Liability Law. The results of this study are summarized as follows: 1) Analytical survey of actual Influence under Product Liability Law in Construction Industry. 2) Review of Business Strategies of Constructor and Building Material Supplier. Although real estate including apartment is excepted from the application of product liability law, constructor are not perfectly free to the product liability law. And the expectancies of this paper are that it can be used as efficient data for improvement of system to systematize contents of Product Liability Law in korea.

  • The aim of this study is to improve quality system through mutual understanding for the opinion gap among interested parties such as owner, designer, constructor and supervisor in construction industry. The survey to the owners, designers, constructors, and supervisors who are in charge of quality of the 183 architectural projects being constructed has been performed for investigating the importance and actual level of quality and quality factors. Questionnaires are based on the quality factors shown in ISO 9001:2000 international quality management system requirements. There are distinct opinion gaps for quality among owner, designer, constructor, and supervisor who working for the same architectural projects.

  • The multi-task operating system called HRMTOS (HUNDAI Robot Multi-task Operating System) was developed for concurrent execution. HRMTOS consists of condition interpreter, queue constructor, task scheduler. Condition interpreter checks the status and condition of request, queue constructor makes queue according to the checked result by condition interpreter, and task scheduler finds the task that will be urgently executed by priority of queue after pending the current excuting task. HRMTOS could execute teaching, playback, monitoring function of multi-robot and could be used more effectively than other robot controllers.

  • Chinese construction companies take major roles gradually in the global construction market. Chinese construction companies performs well-organized project execution by the construction related professionals based on the domestic education and qualification system. The purpose of this study is to analysis the characteristics of professional qualifications for constructor and quantity surveyor in China. The result shows that qualification systems of constructor and quantity surveyor are well classified in detail and operated by government. Each qualifications require broad and defined knowledge structure together with practical experiences. The research result will open the further research of Chinese construction related qualifications in the ways of more specificity, expertise, and practicality.

  • The trigger mechanism in active object-oriented database systems is known to be a good tool for describing user-defined integrity constraints. It cannot adequately support, however, certain integrity constrains specified on the objects in class composition hierarchy. Those are the cases where the constraints must be maintained in the forward direction along the composition hierarchy as well as in the backward direction We call theses kinds of problems "backward propagation problem" and investigate several ways to resolve them using the currently available techniques. Based on them, a new constructor, called CONSTRAIN $T^{cch}$, is proposed.   • The purpose of this paper is to develop the web-based apartment flaw-repairing petition system which can be operated under the internet environments. The developed system mainly consists of administrator, constructor and apartment resident section. The administrator can administrate all of the actions which will be occurred during the operation. Constructor must be enrolled before resident can use this system. All of the resident member must enroll before they petition the company. All of the processing is monitored and accumulated at the database to calculate the statistics and finally will be shown by the graphical results. This system which is programmed by the PERL and PHP and MySQL will be easily transformed into the similar kind of request system.

  • In greeting the 21st century, the Importance of Building Remodeling has increased more than ever. And it has become necessary to consider Economic efficiency in Building Remodeling. This Study is intended to investigate needing of Remodeling sections for the Building Owner and Remodeling Constructor. And it has become necessary to consider Economic Efficiency in Building Remodeling for Needer and Supplier. In this context, this study is focused on the "Evaluation element of Economic Efficiency in Building Remodeling". The Survey of office Building Constructor and Building owner shows that importance of Remodeling. Through this study, the flow of construction information is elevated reaching the level in advanced nation.

  • The purposes of this study are to analyze risks of construction step BIM(Building Information Modeling) applied project and improve it. Recently, construction industry has emphasized an importance of BIM for efficient utilization of various information. In the whole life cycle of huge construction project, there are cases introducing BIM and projects applying BIM are gradually increased to the work of construction step. However, the process of communication is not established, so the contents of BIM process of construction step are just showing rough fields and concepts of working utilization, so it's restrictive to utilize BIM actively on constructions step. Through results of case study in this research, constructor risks of BIM business should be efficiently treated with Fuzzy-FMEA that is more precise than existing danger evaluation.
