건설R&D성과의 경제적 파급효과 분석 (Analysis of Economic Effectiveness in the Results of Construction R&D)

  • 건설R&D 사업은 1994년에 12억원으로 시작하여 2007년에는 1,648억원을 투자하였다. 그동안 연구개발자는 연구성과 실적을 한국건설교통기술평가원에 제출하였고, 이를 기반으로 건설R&D성과 관리가 이루어져 왔다. 건설R&D사업 성과실적이 연구자의 주관적인 분석결과와 보고자료에 의존함으로써 건설R&D 성과의 객관성 및 신뢰성 확보가 어려웠다. 따라서 본 연구는 건설R&D 성과 중 개발기술의 현장적용 비용절감액 분석과 객관적이고 신뢰성있는 경제적 파급효과를 분석하고, 건설R&D의 현장적용 활성화 방안을 마련하였다.

  • The automated construction machines have been recently developed to help solve the construction industry problems that significantly affect labour, productivity, quality, and profit. Despite the importance of performance analysis to commercialize the automated construction machines, previous studies have mainly concentrated on developing hardware and software of automated construction machines. This research now focuses on two objectives: (1) to propose an analysis model which can measure productivity, quality, and safety improvement rate of automated construction machines based on research and development (R&D); and (2) to develop a performance analysis system which will aid the evaluator in analysing the performance of automated construction machines. Finally, it is anticipated that the effective use of the performance analysis model and computerized system will ably develop the high-performance, automated construction machines and establish the marketing strategy to increase not only the commercial value but also the upkeep and development of construction machines.

  • 선진국 건설업체에 대한 경쟁우위 확보와 건설수요의 대형화 및 복합공종의 고도기술 요구에 따라, 국내건설업 기술력 제고의 필요성이 더욱 높아지고 있다. 기술경쟁력 제고를 위해서는 기술의 연구 및 개발이 이루어져야 하며, 개발된 기술을 적극적으로 활용하여 기술축적에 의한 내실을 기해야만 기술경쟁력 확보가 가능하다. 건설업의 경우, 광범위한 기술개발 대상과 기술개발에 소요되는 대규모의 투자와 장기성 때문에, 각 기업의 주어진 여건에 맞는 기술경쟁력 제고 방향의 설정은 기업의 성장을 좌우할 수 있는 중요한 열쇠가 될 것이다. 따라서 기술개발추진 방향은 각 기업의 장기경영 전략에 맞추어서 설정되어야 한다. 본 연구는 건설업계 측면에서 효율적으로 기술개발을 추진할 수 있는 구체적인 방안을 제시한다. 기술경쟁력확보를 위해서는 기본적으로 단계적 건설경영 확대, 특화사업분야 핵심기술 보유, 기술개발체계 확립, 탄력적 조직 운영 등의 체계가 구축되어야 한다.

  • This study analyzed the development stage and change management necessity of the construction IT system through existing research and literature review, and used WordCloud, one of the text mining techniques, to analyze current construction trends and major issues. The necessity of change management is derived by using existing research literature and construction-related social issues as analysis data.

  • Indonesian construction companies are currently facing high competition both among themselves and with global construction companies. In order to address this issue, the Government of Indonesia has enacted specific regulations and policies relating to the development and implementation of quality management systems (QMSs) ISO 9001 based in construction, acknowledging that the consistency of construction project quality requires a formal quality system as a guarantee to raise quality standards at all project stages. The research has been undertaken to examine the effectiveness of the regulations and policies against several key performance indicators (KPIs) of the ISO 9001 Indonesian construction companies. A comprehensive review of the relevant regulations and policies together with interviews with the Government and National Construction Services Development Board recommend possible additional guidelines and supporting quality system, which intends to measure contractors' project output against defined standards as well as to assess their performance among other similar service providers. The outcomes of the research contribute to the development of the Indonesian own construction industry quality measurement and assessment system.

  • During the last few decades, several companies and research laboratories have developed construction robots in an effort to improve productivity, quality, and reduce construction time and safety concerns. Recently, domestic construction industry is also interested in developing the construction robots. However, the studies on the research and development process is impossible in real field. A existing research's object is the development of the research on the assumption that construction's environment is a fixed form, But real construction's environment is very dynamic and atypical. So it is very difficult that we apply construction automation and robots. In order to solve this problem, this study deduce influential factors on decision making of frame construction scheduling for automated construction.

  • Recently new construction system, the Infill Modular Construction System, is being emphasized depending on the industrialized technology introduction and the needs of high-rise housing. In order to applicate the Infill Modular Construction System and activate the domestic market, development of insufficient element technologies against the advanced technologies should be preceded and mobile device development of Infill Unit Module which is differentiated from the existing modular construction systems should be needed urgently. As advanced research for the activation of the Infill Modular Construction System, this research aims to develop Infill Unit Module's mobile device. This is expected to improve the constructability of Infill Unit Module. In addition development of mobile device considering weight of Infill Unit Module and construction errors are being planned.

  • Recently, the roles of the construction engineers become more important in all phases of construction project life cycle. Construction engineers' capabilities is one of the key factors to accomplish construction project objectives. After acquiring basic Knowledge and skills in colleges, the construction engineers have opportunities to develop their abilities through continuous education provided by companies, associations, colleges, and so on. The current eduction system is not sufficient enough to assist engineers to develop their potentials. The construction professionals training system that help career development, career management, education and training is need to raise excellent engineers in a long term perspective. In order to investigate the necessity and the element in the career development support, I perfromed the perception about the career deveolopment by doning question investigation.

  • Underground construction requires long construction duration and a variety of equipment, and environmental management and improvement of its activities are considered necessary. For the purpose of the environmental improvement of underground construction activities, the appropriate development of technologies to reduce generated pollutants is mandatory. However, the analysis of the needs of technology development and the evaluation of development priorities should take precedence. In this research, the needs for the improvement of each construction activity are analyzed as a preliminary study for a proposed technology development plan to improve the environmental performance of underground construction. Firstly, environmental problem factors caused by underground construction activities are determined while underground construction types, methods, and activities are classified. A questionnaire survey to determine the needs for the improvement of each activity is then carried out. The survey indicated that the most urgent activity to be improved is that of cutting excavation, which causes environmental problems associated with flying dust. This study could be used as a basis for a technology development plan for the environmental improvement of underground construction activities. The result of this study, the priority of improvement needs, contributes to the effective allocation of a limited Research and Development (R&D) budget.

  • 국내 건설산업은 경기 침체로 인한 수주 경쟁의 심화, 열악한 작업환경과 숙련공의 부족으로 인한 생산성저하, 다양한 고객의 요구 등의 문제점으로 어려움을 겪고 있으며, 신기술· 신공법 개발을 통한 생산성 향상, 공기단축, 원가절감, 품질 향상 등과 관련한 노력이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 선진 외국의 경우, 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 1980년대 초반부터 건설자동화에 관한 연구개발이 진행되어 왔으며 현재 가시적인 성과를 거두고 있다. 그러나 국내의 경우 최근 건설 자동화에 대한 관심은 증대하고 있으나 자동화 기술개발을 위한 관련 정보의 부족으로 인해 연구개발을 위한 구체적인 접근방법을 수립하는데 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 국내 건설자동화 연구개발의 기반 조성을 위해 기존의 건설자동화 연구개발에 대한 정보들을 수집 분석하여 웹 기반 검색 및 의사결정 지원시스템을 구축하였으며, 이를 통해 건설자동화 관련 연구를 수행하거나 기술개발에 관심이 있는 연구개발 주체들은 건설자동화 연구대상을 선정하는데 필요한 시간과 노력을 절감할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
