VRP(Vehicle Routing Problem) is studied in this paper, where two different kinds of missions are to be completed. The objective is to minimize the total vehicle operating distance. A mixed integer programming formulation and a heuristic algorithm for a practical use are suggested. A heuristic algorithm consists of three phases such as clustering, constructing routes, and adjustment. In the first phase, customers are clustered so that the supply nodes are grouped with demand nodes to be served by the same vehicle. Vehicle routes are generated within the cluster in the second phase. Clusters and routes are adjusted in the third phase using the UF (unfitness) rule designed to determine the customers and the routes to be moved properly. It is shown that the suggested heuristic algorithm yields good performances within a relatively short computational time through computational experiment.

Recent changes in the information security environment have led to persistent attacks on intelligent assets such as cyber security breaches, leakage of confidential information, and global security threats. Since existing information security systems are not adequate for Advanced Persistent Threat; APT attacks, bypassing attacks, and attacks on encryption packets, therefore, continuous monitoring is required to detect and protect against such attacks. Accordingly, this paper suggests an operation plan for managing an information security system to block the attack routes of advanced persistent threats. This is achieved with identifying the valuable assets for prevention control by establishing information control policies through analyzing the vulnerability and risks to remove potential hazard, as well as constructing detection control through controlling access to servers and conducting surveillance on encrypted communication, and enabling intelligent violation of response by having corrective control through packet tagging, platform security, system backups, and recovery.
The purpose of this paper is to shed the light on one of the most important influential factors for the development the Palestinian economy, which is logistics system. The discussion about the Palestinian state and its economy arise after the UN General Assembly voted to grant Palestine a nonmember state. Palestine is considered land-locked country, although it has seashore. Although Palestine has seashore, it is considered land-locked country due to the lack of sovereign logistics infrastructure. International Trade with Israel, Jordan, and Egypt is done through land border crossings. Palestinian international trade to European, Asian, and American countries is currently done through Israeli airports and seaports. Almost 99% of the Palestinian imports are through land. Israeli policies and procedures incur Palestinian exports additional transportation costs when delivering their products to Israeli ports and Airport and even when transit these cargos to neighboring countries through Israeli controlled areas. Therefore, without direct access to international markets, the Palestinian economy will not be able to compete in international markets, and will continue its dependence on the Israeli economy. Considering that the current situation will continue, alternative routes for international trade to avoid using the Israeli ports are Aqaba Port in Jordan and Port Said in Egypt. In the long term, having a seaport and Airport in Gaza, Airport in the West Bank, and constructing the Corridor connecting Gaza and the West Bank, is the only solution capable for independently integrating the Palestinian economy with the region and other countries in the world, and therefore creating competitive advantage for the Palestinian exports.

The main transportation mode of long distance inter-city passenger trips is high-speed rail and the modal share of transportation has been changed profoundly since the KTX service has been started in the Kyung-Bu railroad transportation corridor in the day of 1 April, 2004. After an opening of KTX service in the second stage Kyung-Bu and Ho-Nam railroad transportation corridors, a capacity of incumbent railroads will be increased and operational environments of freight train will be improved. The purpose of this paper is to examine the impact of KTX service operation on the national logistics thoroughly. This paper establishes a deceptive scheme in the national railroad logistic transportation and a route operational strategy between the main origins and destinations efficiently considering the changes of the current freight transportation system in the future. We expect to achieve efficiency of logistic transportation in this paper through alternative routes for example Ho-Nam, Chang-Hang, Seo-Hae line.
The objectives of this study is to classify evacuation types, derive the characteristics of 4 types, develop and discover evacuation routes within the performance hall space, and present the statistical classification results of the evacuation classification model by classification type. To achieve this purpose, the characteristics of each evacuation type's four types are applied through a network reliability analysis method and utilized for institutional improvement and policy. This study applies for the building law, evacuation and relief safety standards when establishing a performance hall safety management plan, and reflects it in safety-related laws, safety standards, and policy systems. Statistical data by evacuation type were analyzed, and measurement characteristics were compared and analyzed by evacuation types. Evaluate the morphological similarity and reliability of evacuation types according to door width and passage length and propose the install position of evacuation guidance sign boards. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data to provide operation strategies for safety facility evacuation information sign boards according to evacuation route classification types when taking a safety management plan. The operation strategy for the evacuation sign boards installation that integrates employee guidance and safety training is applied to the performance hall safety management plan. It will contribute to establishing an operational strategy for performance space safety when constructing performance facilities in the future.
This survey is focused on analyzing amenity resources for the purpose of offering basic sources for balanced development and the activation of sightseeing in Anmyen-island which has superior landscape resources and the result follows as this. 1. As a result of selecting "Amenities characterized in isles" and comparing their applications in order to choose amenity resource surveying method which is suitable for the isle districts where beaches, tidelands, fishing villages and so on are formed, it was considered that the surveying method of the rural amenity resource in the Korean Society of Rural Planning could be properly used. 2. In spite of a variety of amenity resources besides ten beaches, Anmyeon-island has been developed only focused on beaches. Therefore, it is highly recommended to develop new sightseeing courses which connect beaches with adjacent amenity resources such as theme programs. 3. It proved that compared with Anmyeoneup, Gonammyeon has superior landscape resources and higher special product rates, which is caused by the fact that it doesn't have various kinds of amenities. As diverse fish inhabit the sea and tidelands in Gonammyeon, it is beneficial for activating sightseeing tours to develop fishing village experiencing programs including going fishing. 4. Anmyen-island can be divided into East district and West distict by the national road no,77 and two districts have different distributional features of sightseeing amenity resources. In the west district, amenity resources such as coastal sightseeing routes, large event halls, and resorts have been activated in addition to fourteen beaches which have already been developed while the amenity resources in the east like fishing villages, tidelands, and salt fields have not been activated. Accordingly, for activating balanced sightseeing development in Amyeon-island, it is required to make plans which can incorporate the east amenity resources of sea sightseeing and the west amenity resources of fishing village experiencing programs. As a way, constructing sightseeing routes connecting the west and the east district or making a detour lane connecting beaches in the west, Anmyeon pine trees in the center, and fishing villages in the east.

The study used the simplified flooding analysis model, SIMOD, to distribute the total flood discharge by time, so research on flooding in urban areas can be conducted. The conventional flooding analysis models have limitations in constructing input data and take a long time for analysis. However, SIMOD is useful because it supports rapid decision-making process using quick modeling based on simple hydrological data, such as topography and inflow flood of the study area, to analyze submerged routes formed by flooding. Therefore, the study used the SIMOD model to analyze flooding in urban areas before conducting a comparative study with the outputs from FLO-2D, which is one of the conventional flooding analysis models, to identify the model's applicability. Seongseoje was selected as the study area, as it is located downstream the Geumho river where streams flow in the adjacent areas, and dikes are high enough to apply the "Overflow and Break" scenario for urban areas. With regard to topography, the study applied DEM data for the conventional flooding analysis and DSM data to represent urban building communities, distribution of roads, etc. Input flood discharge was calculated by applying the rectangular weir equation under the bank and break scenario through a 200-year return period of a design flood level. Comparative analysis was conducted in a flooded area with a simulation time of 1-24 hours. The time for the 24-hour simulation in SIMOD was less than 7 minutes. Compared with FLO-2D, the difference in flooded areas was less than 20%. Furthermore, the study identified the need for topography data using DSM for urban areas, as the analysis result that applies DSM showed the influence of roads and buildings.

This study intends to construct scenic byway database and to examine and suggest social experiment of scenic byway. As basis work for the experiment of the scenic byway, we build database by using ITS standard node link management system. The DB includes scenic byway routes of Korea and Japan. The analyses show that the scenic byway in both nations consists of roads, reservation, road sign, vehicle number plate, and it was found that infrastructure and system are inadequate for scenic byway. These experiment can be effectively used for scenic byway in Korea and Japan as the basis data. The results of this experiment will be useful for plan and develop a scenic byway.
Nowadays LNG has been beginning to take the place of petroleum as fuel all over the world and VLCC of LNG will take the same sea routes that had been used by VLCC tankers of petroleum in the last part of the 20th century. The transportation of LNG by a VLCC include more dangerous nature of sea peril than that of petroleum. We already know the dimensions of a disaster a LNG tanker could bring about in the case of the LNG tanker, Yuyo-Maru No. 10 in the Tokyo Bay of Japan in 1974. From the point of safety when we construct a LNG base or LNG pier in the base, the appropriate government authority and constructing company had better take sea pilots or some ships handling experts to participate in a prior consultation of the design of the project. A G/T 100,000 ton LNG base and pier were completed in November of 1996 in Inchon harbour in Korea and VLCC of LNG of G/T 100,000 ton class have been entering into the base ever since. This study was started and completed In comply with the requisition of the Sea Pilot Association of Inchon harbour in advance of the opening of the LNG base. As the entrance and exit channels leading to Inchon harbour were constructed in the years of 1930s, it was one of the most pressing works for Inchon sea pilots in 1996 to certify the method of safe passing maneuvering of a G/T 100,000 ton of LNG tanker through the Pudo narrow channel prior to commencing actual piloting of the VLCC of LNG. The authors made some mathematical models computing maneuvering of a vessel changing her course with her control surface through a narrow channel and computed maneuvering of a G/T 100,000 ton of LNG tanker and also made maneuvering simulations of the vessel by a desk-top simulator. The results of computations and simulations are well coincided with each other in qualitative aspects to assure safe passing of the VLCC of LNG.
