  • The ifluence of transformability and stabilized effects in tetragonal phase on the isothermal phase transformation of Y-TZP at low temperature were investigated. The transformability of Y-TZP powders were gradually increased with calcination temeprature and reached maximum at critical temperature, but when the Y-TZP powders were calcined above critical temperature, transformability of Y-TZP were gradually decreased with increasing calcination temperature. It was concluded that maximum transformability was appeared because particle size effects decreased and constrain effects increased with calcined temperature. The isothermal phase transformation during aging at 25$0^{\circ}C$ only observed in Y-TZP stabilized by constrain effects and the amounts of transformation during aging at 25$0^{\circ}C$ only observed in Y-TZP stabilized by constrain effects and the amount of transformed monoclinic phase during aging decreased with increasing constrain effects. From these results, the mechanism of isothermal phase transformation and degradation behaviors at low temperature in Y-TZP was concluded that occurred by decreasing of constrain effects due to stress relaxation at grian boundary.

  • Religions and beliefs can affect the shopping behaviors of its followers and practitioners. However, the knowledge about the factors that motivate, facilitate and even constrain customers' purchase of spiritual goods, such as feng shui items, is limited. Therefore, in this study, I examined the reasons, facilitators, and constraints of purchasing spiritual goods from the buyers' perspective. Two research questions directed the examination process, including (1) why users buy spiritual goods? And (2) what factors may facilitate or constrain the purchase and use of spiritual goods? Using Vietnam's feng shui market as the context, I applied the autoethnographic and ethnographic methods to collect and analyze the data. I found that the two main reasons to purchase the feng shui items were the products' meaning and beauty. In addition, I observed three groups of factors that could facilitate or constrain the purchase and use of feng shui items, including information about the products and their sellers, disposable income and life stage of the buyers, and price and authenticity of the products. Finally, based on these findings, I discussed the practical implications for managing the spiritual goods market in Vietnam.

  • Transformation behavior and reversible shape memory effct of Ti-Ni-Cu alloys with various Cu content has been investigated by means of electrical resistivity measurement, differential scanning calorimetry. X-ray diffraction and strain gage sensor. The transformation sequence in Ti-Ni-Cu alloys substituted by Cu for Ni up to 5at.% occurs to $B2{\leftrightarrow}B19^{\prime}$ and it proceeds in two stages by addition of 10 at.%Cu. i.e. $B2{\leftrightarrow}B19{\leftrightarrow}B19^{\prime}$. But the content of Cu increases up to 20at.%, it has been transformed in one stage ; $B2{\leftrightarrow}B19$. The shape change of Ti-40Ni-10Cu alloy which was constrain aged in circular form bended in $B2{\leftrightarrow}B19$ transformation but it spreaded out in $B19{\leftrightarrow}B19^{\prime}$ transformation. The amount of reversible shape change (${\Delta}{\varepsilon}$) of Ti-47Ni-3Cu alloy constrain aged at $400^{\circ}C$ after solution treatment has a maximum value of about $5.6{\times}10^{-3}$, but that of cold rolled and constrain aged specimens exhibits a little value independent of Cu concentrations.

  • Based on three types of 2-point statistics (galaxy clustering, galaxy-galaxy lensing, and cosmic shear power spectra) from the Deep Lens Survey (DLS), we constrain cosmology and baryonic feedback. The DLS is a deep survey, so-called a precursor to LSST, reaching down to ~27th magnitude in BVRz' over 20 deg2. To measure the three power spectra, we choose two lens galaxy populations centered at z ~0.27 and 0.54 and two source galaxy populations centered at z ~0.64 and 1.1, with more than 1 million galaxies. We perform a number of consistency tests to confirm the reliability of the measurements. We calibrated photo-z estimation of the lens galaxies and validated the result with galaxy cross-correlation measurement. The B-mode signals, indicative of potential systematics, are found to be consistent with zero. The two cosmological results independently obtained from the cosmic shear and the galaxy clustering + galaxy-galaxy lensing measurements agree well with each other. Also, we verify that cosmological results between bright and faint sources are consistent. While there exist some weak lensing surveys showing a tension with Planck, the DLS constraint on S8 agrees nicely with the Planck result. Using the HMcode approach derived from the OWLS simulation, we constrain the strength of baryonic feedback. The DLS results hint at the possibility that the actual AGN feedback may be stronger than the one implemented in the current state-of-the-art simulations.

  • 2FGL J1823.8+4312 and 2FGL J1304.1-2415 are two unidentified Fermi objects which are associated with cluster of galaxies. In order to exam the possibility of cluster of galaxies as gamma-ray emitters, we search for counterpart of these two unidentified Fermi objects in other wavebands. However, we find other candidate to be more likely the counterpart of the unidentified Fermi object for both sources. We compare their light curves and SEDs in order to identify their source types. However, data at millimeter and sub-millimeter wavebands, which is important for us to constrain the SED at synchrotron peak, is lacking of measurement. Therefore, we proposed to SMA observation for these two sources. We have got data and are doing further analysis.

  • I will present a new approach to constrain galaxy physical parameters from the combined interpretation of stellar and nebular emission in wide ranges of observations. This approach relies on a comprehensive library of synthetic spectra, assembled using state-of-the-art models of star formation and chemical enrichment histories, stellar population synthesis, nebular emission and attenuation by dust. We focus on the constraints set by 5-band photometry and low- and medium-resolution spectroscopy at optical rest wavelengths on a few physical parameters characterizing the stars and interstellar medium. Since these parameters cannot be known a priori for any galaxy sample, we assess the accuracy to which they can be retrieved by simulating 'pseudo-observations' using models with known parameters. We find that the combined analysis of stellar and nebular emission in low-resolution (50A FWHM) galaxy spectra provides valuable constraints on all physical parameters. The approach can be extended to the analysis of any type of observation and during this talk i will present some applications to observed galaxies up to redshift 1.5.

  • Accurate equivalent circuit modeling using multi-circuit optimization has been perfomred for detemining small-signal model of AlGaAs/GaAs HBTs. Three equivalent circuits for a cutoff biasing and two active biasing at different curretns are optimized simultaneously to fit gheir S parameters under the physics-based constrain that current-dependent elements for one of active circuits are connected to those for another circit multiplied by the ratio of two currents. The cutoff mode circuit and the physical constrain give the advantage of extracting physically acceptable parameters, because the number of unknown variables. After this optimization, three ses of optimized model S-parameters agree well with their measured S-parameters from 0.045 GHz to 26.5GHz.

  • The positions of galaxies in comoving Cartesian space varies under different cosmological parameter choices, inducing a redshift-dependent scaling in the galaxy distribution. The shape of the two-point correlation of galaxies exhibits a significant redshift evolution when the galaxy sample is analyzed under a cosmology differing from the true, simulated one. In our previous works, we can made use of this geometrical distortion to constrain the values of cosmological parameters governing the expansion history of the universe. This current work is a continuation of our previous works as a strategy to constrain cosmological parameters using redshift-invariant physical quantities. We now aim to understand the redshift evolution of the full shape of the small scale, anisotropic galaxy clustering and give a firmer theoretical footing to our previous works.

  • It is widely accepted that the SED of a galaxy relates to its morphology. In addition, the SED of the galaxy is closely connected to its star formation history, and its morphological properties are affected by the merger history, interactions with its environment, and the gravitational instability of its dynamical system. Thus, it is likely that star formation history correlates to the elements that determine morphological properties. Among the elements, this study investigates how much the merger histories of galaxies influence their star formation histories. By using simple merger trees and semi-analytic models, which disregard feedback processes to exclusively identify merger effects on star formation histories, we examine the relation between various merger histories and SEDs of galaxies. From the results, we discuss whether the SED of a galaxy can represent and constrain its merger history.
