천장 브래킷형 모듈러 시스템의 브래킷 길이와 볼트에 따른 내진성능평가 (Seismic Performance Evaluation of the Ceiling Bracket-type Modular System with Various Bracket Lengths and Bolt Types)

  • In regard to modular systems, new methods, as well as middle and high-story unit design ideas, are currently being studied. These studies need to focus on the enhanced stiffness and seismic performance of these connections, and see that the development of fully restrained moment connections can improve the seismic performance. For this reason, this study evaluates the performance of the connections of the ceiling bracket-typed modular system through repeated loading tests and analyses. In order to compare them with these modular units, new unit specimens with the bracket connection being different from that of the traditional modular unit specimens were designed, and the results of repeated loading tests were analyzed. In the traditional units, the structural performances of both welding connection and bolt connection were evaluated. In regard to the testing results, the initial stiffness of the hysteresis curve was compared with the theoretical initial stiffness, and the features of all specimens were also analyzed with regard to the maximum moment. In addition, the test results were examined with regard to the connection flexural strength of the steel special moment frame specified under the construction criteria KBC2016. The connections, which were proposed in the test results, were found to be fully restrained moment connections for designing strong column-weak beams and meeting the requirements of seismic performance of special moment frames.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to present basic data on installation location, functional connection, and arrangement to be considered when planning a neonatal intensive care unit in a certified tertiary general hospital. Method: Review the facility standards related to the neonatal intensive care unit, such as laws and guidelines, and select a Certified Tertiary General Hospital as a case hospital among the Neonatal Intensive Care Regional Centers designated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare to analyze the placement characteristics of major NICU components such as the location of the NICU installation, the connection of movement between adjacent facilities and functions, and the treatment room and accessory room. Results and Implications: NICU is a facility for critically ill babies among newborns and needs to consider more about infection and patient management compared to adult intensive care units, which not only install close to delivery-related facilities to enable immediate action after childbirth, but also divide the treatment room into open rooms and allow access to the attached rooms through dedicated corridors to minimize movement in the treatment room.

Splinted or Non-splinted: 다수의 인접한 치아 결손부 수복을 위한 임플란트 보철 (Splinted and non-splinted implant-supported restorations : prosthetic considerations for restoring multiple adjacent teeth)

  • The purpose of this paper was to investigate the significance of splinted and non-splinted implant-supported restorations with an internal connection for multiple consecutively missing teeth. Upon examination of the effects of fixture-abutment connection, the distribution of occlusal load was favorable in splinted implant-prosthesis with an external connection, but effect of strain distribution was not significant in splinted implant-prosthesis with an internal connection. In splinted implant-prostheses for short implants, strain distribution was not affected by the method of retention. For cement-retained prostheses, the effect of strain distribution due to splinting was not significant. In clinical studies, non-splinted prostheses with an internal connection for multiple consecutively missing teeth showed high survival rate, mild marginal bone loss, and stable periodontal condition. However, failure to achieve optimal proximal contact between single-unit prostheses may lead to food impaction, and veneer fracture may be inevitable when the framework provides inadequate support in the proximal region. In conclusion, splinted implant-prosthesis is not an indication in all cases, and clinical consideration of its use should be based on the patient's oral condition, such as location and number of implants, formation of proximal contact, canine guidance, existence of parafunctional habit, and oral hygiene, when multiple consecutively missing teeth are replaced by internal connection type implant.

단음절 합성단위음을 사용한 시간영역에서의 한국어 다음절어 규칙합성을 위한 음절간 접속구간에서의 에너지 흐름 제어에 관한 연구 (On the Control of Energy Flow between the Connection Parts of Syllables for the Korean Multi-Syllabic Speech Synthesis in the Time Domain Using Mono-syllables as a Synthesis Unit)

  • 본 논문은 시간영역 상에서의 단음절 단위합성음을 사용한 다음절어 합성에 관한 연구이다. 특히, 파형 연접시 접속구간에서의 에너지 흐름의 형태를 제어하기 위한 연구이다. 이를 위하여 시간영역 상에서 추출한 운율요소 제어용 매개변수1)를 사용하여 제어하였으며, 음절간 파형 형태의 접속규칙을 도출하여 합성시킴으로써 에너지 흐름의 형태를 시간영역 상에서 제어시킨 결과를 제시하였다. 실험결과, 단음절 단위의 저장된 파형을 연접시킴으로서 발생되는 에너지 흐름의 불연속성을 제거할 수 있었으며, 또한 합성음의 음절 및 자연성이 향상되었다.

  • Sea transport industry is service industry and basic industry that permit efficient division of the human and material resources of industry. Also, owing to geographical situation which korea is having, utilization ratio of sea logistics industry is high than other transport ways. Sea transport industry chieves role that promote economy activity of other industry field as well as offer of transport way. Specially, because unit anger of freight by container is introduced, it was achived reduction of transport unit cost and mechanization of loading and unloading by this result. For efficeint connection of each other transport, contianer had offerd to large ship. Quality of service has much dimensions, and is considered while it is important that understand quality of service of sea transport industry through marketing and research of customer connection field because perceive of quality of serviceis different in shipowner/service viscount or shipper/freight owner. This research presented decision factors of sea transport quality of service which shipper and transport agent recognize under these background.

  • This paper propose section properties factor to generate stress history for fatigue analysis and safety inspection of steel bridge. A methodology is described for the computation of numerical stress histories in the steel truss bridge, caused by the vehicles using section properties factor. The global 3-D beam model of bridge is combined with the local shell model of selected details. Joint geometry is introduced by the local shell model. The global beam model takes the effects of joint rigidity and interaction of structural elements into account. Connection nodes in the global beam model correspond to the end cross-section centroids of the local shell model. Their displacements are interpreted as imposed deformations on the local shell model. The load cases fur the global model simulate the vertical unit force along the stringers. The load cases fer the local model are imposed unit deformations. Combining these, and applying vehicle loads, numerical stress histories are obtained. The method is illustrated by test load results of an existing bridge.

버스 정류소 주변에서 자동차-이동기지국 (V2MR) 통신의 연결시간에 대한 성능분석모형 (Model for the Connection-Time of Vehicle-to-Mobile RSU (V2MR) Communications Near a Bus Station)

  • 자동차 통신망의 구축비용을 획기적으로 절감하기 위해 자동차 통신망과 이동통신망을 연결하는 기지국을 대중교통수단인 버스에 설치한 자동차-이동기지국 (Vehicle-to-Mobile Roadside Unit, V2MR) 통신에 대해 연구한다. 자동차-이동기지국 통신에서 자동차들은 이동기지국에 애드 혹 연결을 설정하여 연결성을 크게 향상한다. 본 논문에서는 동일한 경로를 주행하는 자동차들과 이동기지국 간의 통신연결 시간에 대한 새로운 분석모형을 제시한다. 자동차 통신망에서 연결시간은 매우 동적이고 예측하기 힘들기 때문에, 본 논문에서 제안하는 분석모형은 자동차-이동기지국 간의 통신연결 시간을 예측하기 위한 토대를 제공할 수 있다. VEINS 시뮬에이션을 통해 수집한 실험결과를 통해 제안하는 성능분석모형이 V2MR 통신연결시간 추정 오차를 약 1 퍼센트 이내로 줄일 수 있음을 보인다. 또한, V2MR 통신이 V2R 통신에 비해 통신연결 시간을 약 3.85배 증가시킬 수 있음을 보인다.

  • Cost effectiveness is an important parameter for producing DSSCs as compared to the widely used conventional silicon based solar cells. A fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) substrate coated with a catalytic amount of platinum is used as counter electrode in dye-sensitized solar cell. Carbonaceous materials are quite attractive to replace platinum due to their high electronic conductivity, corrosion resistance towards $I_{2}$, good catalytic effect and low cost. In this paper, the unit DSSCs with Pt and CNT as a counter electrode were connected in series-parallel externally, then the current-voltage curves were investigated to find out the connection characteristics of the DSSC with CNT counter electrode. The connection characteristics of the DSSC with CNT counter electrode is superior to that of the DSSC with Pt counter electrode. And a parallel connection of the DSSC with CNT counter electrode has higher efficiency than a series connection of that.
