차세대 mBcN을 위한 5G+ 연동보안게이트웨이 (A Cooperative Security Gateway cooperating with 5G+ network for next generation mBcN)

  • 차기 mBcN에서는 초고속·초연결을 지원할 수 있는 무선망과 연계할 수 있도록 구축되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 5G 무선망과 mBcN의 연계하기 위한 연동망 구조와 연동에 필요한 연동보안게이트웨이의 구조를 제안한다. 제안하는 연동보안게이트웨이는 gNB와 UPF의 사이에 위치하며 LBO 기능, SFC 기능 및 다양한 보안 기능을 제공한다. 제안하는 연동망 구조 및 연동보안게이트웨이를 통해 다양한 이점을 확보할 수 있다. 첫 번째는 mBcN망과 연결이 필요한 사용자 단말은 5G망의 무선망을 활용하여 mBcN망과 연결할 수 있다. 두 번째는 mBcN으로 전달되는 트래픽은 5G 코어망을 경유하지 않고 mBcN으로 전송되어 5G 코어망에 망부하를 야기하지 않으면서 종단간 전송 지연을 감소시킬 수 있다. 마지막으로 군응용체계 패킷이 5G코어망으로 전파되지 않고 연동 보안게이트웨이와 연결된 기지국을 통해서만 mBcN과 연결할 수 있어 보안을 유지할 수 있다. 마지막으로 본 논문에서는 5G 테스트배드 환경에서 실험을 통해 제안하는 연동 보안 게이트웨이의 LBO 기능, SFC 기능 및 보안모듈의 기능을 제공 가능함을 제시한다.

  • 오늘날 무선통신 기술은 기존 유선 통신방식에 추가하여 매우 주목받고 있는 정보통신 혁명을 주도하였다. 무선 통신에서 자체 피코넷(piconet)을 형성하여 음성이나 데이터 통신을 수행하는 블루투스 기술은 많은 응용분야에 적용되고 있으며, 나아가 액세스 망을 통해 공중망과 접속 가능하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 블루투스 프로토콜의 기술교육을 위하여 프로토콜 스택의 핵심인 HCI, L2CAP, RFCOMM, SDP와 프로파일의 핵심인 GAP, SPP, GEOP, FTP을 모니터링 및 에뮬레이션하기 위한 프로그래밍 기법의 제반 환경을 체계적이고 쉽게 서술하였다. 이러한 기능은 블루투스 디바이스와 RS-232-C, BSB 또는 UART 인터페이스로 접속된 PC 환경에서 비주얼 C로 작성된 응용 프로그램으로 수행되며, 블루투스 디바이스에 실장된 펌웨어와 인터페이스를 수행하여 개발되었다. 아울러 개발된 소프트웨어를 활용하여 파일 전달 및 채팅 기능을 부가적으로 제공하여 교육의 효율을 높이고자 하였다.

A Basic Study on Connected Ship Navigation System

  • Maritime autonomous surface ships (MASS) has been developed over the years. But, there are many unresolved problems. To overcome these problems, this study proposes connected ship navigation system. The system comprises a slave ship and a master ship that leads the slave ship. To implement this system, communication network, route planning algorithms, and controllers are designed. The communication network is built using the transmission control protocol/Internet protocol (TCP/IP) socket communication method to exchange data between ships. The route planning algorithms calculate the course and distance of the slave ship using the middle latitude sailing method. Nomoto model is used as the mathematical model of the slave ship maneuvering motion. Then, the autoregressive with exogenous variables (ARX) model is used to estimate the parameters of Nomoto model. Based on the above model, the automatic steering controller is designed using a proportional-derivative (PD) control. Also, the speed controller is designed for the slave ship to maintain constant distance from the master ship. Sea experiments are conducted to verify the proposed system with two remodeled boats.

  • By development of renewable energy and more efficient facilities in an increasingly deregulated electricity market, the operation cost of distributed generation (DG) is becoming more competitive. International environmental regulations of the leaking carbon become effective to reinforce global efforts for a low-carbon paradigm. Through increased DG, operators of DG are able to supply electric power to customers who are connected directly to DG as well as loads that are connected to entire network. In this situation, a community energy system (CES) with DGs is a new participant in the energy market. DG's purchase price from the market is different from the DG's sales price to the market due to transmission service charges and other costs. Therefore, CES who owns DGs has to control the produced electric power per hourly period in order to maximize profit. Considering the international environment regulations, CE will be an important element to decide the marginal cost of generators as well as the classified fuel unit cost and unit's efficiency. This paper introduces the optimal operation of CES's DG connected to the distribution network considering CE. The purpose of optimization is to maximize the profit of CES. A Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) will be used to solve this complicated problem. The optimal operation of DG represented in this paper would guide CES and system operators in determining the decision making criteria.

Impedance Matching Based Control for the Resonance Damping of Microgrids with Multiple Grid Connected Converters

  • This paper presents an impedance-matching-based control scheme for the harmonic resonance damping of multiple grid-connected-converters (GCCs) with LCL filters. As indicated in this paper, harmonic resonance occurs if a GCC possesses an output impedance that is not matched with the rest of the network in some specific frequency bands. It is also revealed that the resonance frequency is associated with the number of GCCs, the grid impedance and even the capacitive loads. By controlling the grid-side current instead of the converter-side current, the critical LCL filter is restricted as an internal component. Thus, the closed-loop output impedance of the GCC within the filter can be configured. The proposed scheme actively regulates the output impedance of the GCC to match the impedance of the external network, based on the detected resonance frequency. As a result, the resonance risk of multiple GCCs can be avoided, which is beneficial for the plug-and-play property of the GCCs in microgrids. Simulation and experimental results validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

실시간 지능형 교통 시스템에 적합한 블록체인 기술 및 네트워크 구조 (Blockchain Technology and Network Structure for Real-time Intelligence Transport System)

  • Connected car plays an important role on Intelligent Transport System (ITS). ITS is able to secure drivers' convenience and safety, however, the overall system can be threatened by hacking attempt. Blockchain is one strong candidate of the remedy to promote the security of the ITS network. However, there will be many challenges to adopt previously proposed blockchain technologies to ITS. This work presents a new ITS structure based on blockchain technology. Proposed scheme includes three major layers. The first layer is central manager which is initiated once to register a certain connected car. The third layer is RSU (Road Side Unit) layer which exploits PoS (Proof of Stake) for consortium blockchains and retains real-time information. In addition, this layer performs block expiration based on timers to maintain manageable block length. In the second layer, the generated blocks of the third layer without expiration are housed as private blockchains. We finally demonstrate possible merits of newly proposed scheme.

New Backstepping-DSOGI hybrid control applied to a Smart-Grid Photovoltaic System

  • In order to overcome the power fluctuation issues in photovoltaic (PV) smart grid-connected systems and the inverter nonlinearity model problem, an adaptive backstepping command-filter and a double second order generalized Integrators (DSOGI) controller are designed in order to tune the AC current and the DC-link voltage from the DC side. Firstly, we propose to present the filter mathematical model throughout the PV system, at that juncture the backstepping control law is applied in order to control it, Moreover the command filter is bounded to the controller aiming to exclude the backstepping controller differential increase. Additionally, The adaptive law uses Lyapunov stability criterion. Its task is to estimate the uncertain parameters in the smart grid-connected inverter. A DSOGI is added to stabilize the grid currents and eliminate undesirable harmonics meanwhile feeding maximum power generated from PV to the point of common coupling (PCC). Then, guaranteeing a dynamic effective response even under very unbalanced loads and/or intermittent climate changes. Finally, the simulation results will be established using MATLAB/SIMULINK proving that the presented approach can control surely the smart grid-connected system.

  • This paper proposed a platform which includes both Network processor and DSP for flexible IED. The Network processor is one of the Intel's IXP4XX Product Line family and the DSP is one of the TI's C6000 family. An embedded Linux is ported in Network processor so that a DSP program can be downloaded to Network processor through ethernet and then downloaded to DSP. Using this method, various algorithms according to IED can be applied to the Network processor board. Maximum ten ADCs can be connected because there is a CPLD between DSP and ADC. That is, the network processor board which can measure maximum 40 channels is implemented. In DSP program, thread and double buffering methods are used not to miss voltage samples. The Network processor board is verified using a method that eight channel voltage signals converted to digital are transmitted to server through both DSP and IXP425.

  • This paper presents a network-based traction control system(TCS), where several electric control units(ECUs) are connected by a controller area network(CAN) communication system. The control system consists of four ECUs: the electric throttle controller, the transmission controller, the engine controller and the traction controller. In order to validate the traction control algorithm of the network-based TCS and evaluate its performance, a Hardware-In-the-Loop Simulation(HILS) environment was developed. Herein we propose a new concept of the HILS environment called the network-based HILS(Net-HILS) for the development and validation of network-based control systems which include smart sensors or actuators. In this study, we report that we have designed a network-based TCS, validated its algorithm and evaluated its performance using Net-HILS.

  • A design method of ultra-broadband microwave amplifier is presented. A lossy network is represented as the combination of a serial impedance component and a parallel admittance component, and the realizable ranges of the gain and the reflection coefficients are derived with the components connected to the input, output or interstage network. The matching network has been designed by using the serial and parallel immittance loci which have the constant gain or reflection coefficients within the realizable ranges. Using the proposed method, deisgn examples of ultra-broadband amplifiers operating from dc to 12GHz frequency range are presented.
