One of the remarkable problems in PIM-DM(Protocol Independent Multicast-Dense Mode) is the latency time, increasing for some periods. The reason of this problem is proved to the confusion of flooding prune message and leave prune message. We propose a convincing solution to this confusion and we prove this by network simulation.

In this paper, we present a method that can detect context-sensitive word errors and generate correction candidates. Spelling error detection is one of the most widespread research topics, however, the approach proposed in this paper is adjusted for an automated English scoring system. A common strategy in context-sensitive word error detection is using a pre-defined confusion set to generate correction candidates. We automatically generate a confusion set in order to consider the characteristics of sentences written by second-language learners. We define a word error that cannot be detected by a conventional grammar checker because of part-of-speech ambiguity, and propose how to detect the error and generate correction candidates for this kind of error. An experiment is performed on the English writings composed by junior-high school students whose mother tongue is Korean. The f1 value of the proposed method is 70.48%, which shows that our method is promising comparing to the current-state-of-the art.

Since 'virtual teams' are not bounded by geographical dimensions, culture becomes an important determinant of their success. Though cultural diversity provides unique opportunities to build up new ideas, it can also create problems in the midst of individual interactions and eventually result in poor performance. With little research on this topic, this study examines the relationship between culture and virtual teams' performance. An experiment was conducted followed by the survey based on subjects' perceptions on the experiment. The results show that cultural diversity has significant impact on virtual teams' performance through confusion and conflict in virtual teams. This study empirically proves the fact that conflict is one of the most critical antecedents of a virtual team's performance with high R-square values in both experimental and control groups. In addition, this research introduces and empirically tests a new construct, 'confusion' which turns out to be also important in the virtual team's performance research, and the relationships among confusion, conflict and the virtual team's performance. Next, the findings confirm the importance of studying virtual teams' performance research from the cultural perspective.

Hwaseong serial murders are not now having any significant concern either with Hwaseong City or Dongtan New Town, a region in Hwaseong City, both spatial and temporal manners. However, despite that, people have come to see Hwaseong City with negative ideas as the mass media drove the people to do so. In this study, how films and newspaper articles have created those negative images of Hwaseong City was investigated and afterwards, residents and students living in Dongtan New Town had interviews on what they think about the negative regional images. The study, then, worked on a mental map and others based on what it learned from the interviews. Regional identity confusion is now being discovered out of the people's resistance against the negative images of the city and through such research process described before, the study discussed this regional identity confusion caused by living as residents in Hwaseong and living as residents in Dongtan New Town. In addition, the study revealed sense of place of Dongtan New Town and aspects of the regional identity confusion with this Dongtan New Town growing both with symbolic meanings as a place of murders, an awful crime, and spatial meanings as another place of dynamic developments and improvements.

A binaural filtering method using HRTF DB is generally used to make the headphone-based 3D sound. But it can make some confusion between front and back directions or between up and down directions due to the non-individual HRTF depending on each listener. To reduce the confusion of sound image localization, we propose a new method to boost the spectral cue by modifying HRTF spectra with spectrum difference between front and back directions. Informal listening tests show that the proposed method improves the front-back sound localization characteristics much better than the conventional methods

This paper presents the design of optimal fuzzy classifier for human detection by using genetic algorithms, one of the best-known meta-heuristic search methods. For this purpose, encoding scheme to search the optimal sequential intersection points between adjacent fuzzy membership functions is originally presented for the fuzzy classifier design for HOG (Histograms of Oriented Gradient) descriptors. The intersection points are sequentially encoded in the proposed encoding scheme to reduce the redundancy of search space occurred in the combinational problem. Furthermore, the fitness function is modified with the true-positive and true-negative of the confusion matrix instead of the total success rate. Experimental results show that the two proposed approaches give superior performance in HOG datasets.

Phytolacca americana poisoning is a benign plant intoxication that causes gastrointestinal symptoms, including abdominal cramps, vomiting, diarrhea, and gastrointestinal bleeding. Other signs and symptoms include diaphoresis, salivation, visual disturbance, and seizures or mental changes. We report two cases of patients who experienced confusion and abdominal pain, vomiting, and hematemesis after oral ingestion of pokeweed. A 60-year-old female with confusion and a 67-year-old female with abdominal pain, vomiting, and diarrhea were admitted to the emergency department after pokeweed poisoning. After supportive treatment of hydration and gastrointestinal medication, the two patients showed full recovery within 24 h and were discharged from the hospital.

In this paper, the author analyzed the PCI (Physical Cell Identification) allocation methods in the LTE (Long Term Evolution) SON (Self Organization Network) environment. A variety of techniques have been proposed for how to allocate PCI, and the LTE standard fundamentally explained that collision between a cell and neighbor cells arise while a cell assign the PCI. Therefore, in this paper, the author examined the scenarios of PCI collision, weak collision, and confusion proposed by LTE specification. In addition, the cell central approach and the distributed approach were discussed as solutions for each scenario. In this paper, the author reviewed the approach of graphic coloring technique which was studied recently and explained the strategy of central approach.

In a few studies about product involvement there was confusion in the construct of involvement especially in association with importance. Due to the confusion of the construct unanticipated and inconsistent results were reported in some cases. So this study was mainly to identify the relationship between clothing importance and clothing involvement and also investigated the casual relationships among consumers n, value, clothing importance, clothing involvement fashion opinion leadership, and shopping behavior. The data were collected from 429 female adults using questionnaire, and were analysed with actor and path analysis. Results can be summarized as follows. First, clothing importance was the separate concept from clothing involvement, though they were closely related. Second. it was revealed that the main casual path was valuerlongrightarrowclothing importancelongrightarrowclothing involvementlongrightarrowfashion opinion leadership, shopping preference, shopping frequency, and shopping time. On the whole, the affective dimension of clothing involvement mainly affected them, and consumer's age negatively affected fashion opinion leadership and shopping behavior.

The causes of sciatica are variable and include musculoskeletal, dermatologic, infectious, neoplastic, and vascular disorders. In many cases, the symptom is usually caused by degenerative disease in the spine with the compression or irritation of spinal nerve. On the other hands, there are also several announced extra-spinal causes including aneurysm, diabetes, and radiation for sciatica in a low rate. Among the extra-spinal cases, aneurysms arising from iliac vessels are sometimes developing a diagnostic confusion with the spinal causes, and delayed diagnosis can lead to poor prognosis. It is very important to pay attention weather the aneurysmal cause is involved in the symptom of sciatica.
