사회적 지원이 맞벌이 주말부부의 역할갈등과 결혼만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Effects of Social Support on Role Conflicts and Marital Satisfaction of Dual-Career Commuting Couples)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of social support on the role conflicts and marital satisfaction of dual-career commuting couples. Ninety-three dual-career commuting couples were participated in this study. The results were as follows: (1) Wives received more informational support than their husband. Wives also received more support from their family of origin. (2) For wives, instrumental support from their family of origin and friends reduced their role conflicts. (3) For both wives and husbands, wives family of origin played most important role among social network. (4) Social support from friends and colleagues had significant effects on role conflicts and marital satisfaction of dual-career commuting couples.

User-Centric Conflict Management for Media Services Using Personal Companions

  • In this paper, we propose a user-centric conflict management method for media services which exploits personal companions for the harmonious detection and resolution of service conflicts. To detect conflicts based on the varying characteristics of individual users, the proposed method exploits the unified context describing all users attempting to access media services. It recommends and mediates users' preferred media contents through a shared screen and personal companions to resolve the detected conflicts. During the recommendation, a list of preferred media contents is displayed on the shared screen, and a personally preferred content list is shown on the user's personal companion comprising the selection of media contents. Mediation assists the selection of a consensual service by gathering the users' selections and highlighting the common media contents. In experiments carried out in a ubiHome, we observed that recommendations and mediation are useful in harmoniously resolving conflicts by encouraging user participation in conflict situations.

또래 지위와 친구 관계에 따른 아동의 갈등 해결 방식 (Conflict Resolution Strategies of School-Aged Children : Peer Status and Friendship)

  • Peer conflicts between school-aged children were observed to examine differences in conflict resolution strategies according to children's sex, peer status, and friendship. One hundred and forty eight dyads in 4th grade were selected for the study. The dyads' interactions in a small room while playing a Domino game were videotaped. Strategies the children used to resolve peer conflicts were analyzed by frequencies, and ANOVAs. School-aged children used reasoning and insistences to the partners frequently to resolve conflicts. Conflict resolution strategies were different by children's status among peers. Popular children used reasoning and listening more frequently. Rejected children used standing firm, behaving aggressively, ignoring, and withdrawing more frequently, and explaining and listening less frequently. Rejected children, especially rejected boys, used aggressive strategies more frequently.

Conflict Avoidance in Construction Projects: Six 'C' Rescue Factors

  • Conflict is aroused when different people having different interest work together for fulfilling same the objectives. As the construction field is large, complex, volatile and requires tremendous capital, there are always greater challenges and possibility of risks of conflicts. Poor management practices in construction site and trying to protect risks and threats by contracting parties are the cited sources of the construction conflicts. The best management practice is to resolve the problems before these cultivate as conflicts. This paper has identified six dispute avoidance factors-Convince, Coordination, Consideration, Compromise, Consolation and Coercion. Six 'C' factors described in this paper are the mantra (formula) to execute a conflict free construction project. The conflict avoidance factors have been verified through a successfully executed project called TEVT development project (Technical Education and Vocational Training) during 1993-1998 in Nepal. The results show that the six 'C' factors 'C' considered during the implementation of the project, construction conflicts would be controlled or minimized effectively.

  • 수치지도 2.0을 준공도면을 이용하여 수시 갱신하면 서로 다른 시기에 얻어진 원천 자료로 인해 등고선과 하천간의 공간 충돌이 발생할 수 있어 이에 대한 해결책이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 두 개체간 발생하는 공간충돌의 유형을 정의하고 논리 조건식을 세워 자동으로 탐지하기 위한 방법을 제시하였다.

  • In the hotel industry, there are the production and consumption of services at the same time, considering direct contact between employees and customers. In this respect, this study was conducted based on more practical factors to grasp employees' feelings and conflicts. The results of this research are as follows. First, individual conflicts among hotel banquet employees influence devotion to the organization which has a direct effect on performance of management. Second, such devotion is closely correlated with the factors of the performance of management. Finally, managing employees' conflicts is the key factor to promote the performance of management. Under these circumstances, there should be more concern in solving problems among employees and special pro-grams for promoting job satisfaction and devotion which bring about more profits as well as a sense of achievement.

  • As Temporal DataBase Systems(TDBSs) manages both the historical versions and the current version of each data item, a temporal transaction may access more data records than atransaction in traditional database systems. Hence, the concurrency control subsystem of temporaldatabase management system should be able to correctly and efficiently detect actual conflicts amongconcurrent temporal transactions while the cost of detecting conflicts is maintained in low levelwithout detecting false conflicts which cause severe degradation of system throughput.In this paper, Two-Level Conflict Detection(TLCD) scheme is proposed for efficient conflictdetection between concurrent temporal transactions in TDBs. In the proposed TLCD scheme, sincechecking conflict between concurrent temporal transactions is performed at two levels, i, e., logicallevel and physical level, conflicts between concurrent temporal transactions are efficiently and correctlydetected,Furthermore, we also evaluate the performance of the proposed TLCD scheme with those oftraditional conflict detection schemes, logical-level conflict detection scheme and physical-level conflictdetection scheme by simulation approach, The result of the simulation study shows that the proposedTLCD scheme outperforms the previous conflict detection schemes with respect to the averageresponse time.

청년기 자녀의 갈등에 관한연구 -사회극을 통한 방법으로- (A Study on the conflict of Children in Adolescence -by Socio drama-)

  • Eleven junior-college students in Seoul who are interested in a drama volunteered to take part in the sociodrama. Their ages range between 21 and 35-all not married. The drama was performed 14 tiems. In the sociodrama test the conflicts between parents and their children and between siblings appear to be the factors of uneasiness and trouble. Parents' nrgative attitudes and the conflicts between siblings in childhood are the factors of the conflicts of the children in adolescence. This study is summarized into the following two points. 1. Parents' negative attitude toward their children in childhood can be the cause of the conflicts of their children in adolescence. 2. THe sociodrama is a very effective way to find the trouble between parents and their children and to search for the solution to it.

  • Assuring integrity of permission assignment (PA) constraints is a difficult task in role-based access control (RBAC) because of the large number of constraints, users, roles and permissions in a large enterprise environment. We provide solutions for this problem using the conflict concept. This paper introduces the conflict model in order to understand the conflicts easily and to detect conflicts effectively. The conflict model is classified as a permission-permission model and a role-permission model. This paper defines two type conflicts using the conflict model. The first type is an inter-PA-constraints (IPAC) conflict that takes place between PA constraints. The other type is a PA-PAC conflict that takes place between a PA and a PA constraint (PAC) Also, the conditions of conflict occurrence are formally specified and proved. We can assure integrity on permission assignment by checking conflicts before PA and PA constraints are applied.

다문화가정의 사소한 갈등: <다문화 고부 열전>을 중심으로 ('Trivial' Conflicts of Multicultural Families: Focused on the Program )

  • 본 연구는 한국의 다문화 현실 속에서 미디어가 결혼이민자여성을 어떻게 재현하는지를 분석하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 특히, EBS 다큐멘터리 <다문화 고부 열전>을 분석하여 이 콘텐츠가 여행서사를 채택하여 며느리와 시어머니 간의 고부 갈등과 그 갈등의 해결 과정을 보여준다는 것을 밝혔다. 여행서사는 며느라의 고향으로 시어머니가 함께 여행함으로서 상호이해와 문화 다양성을 보여주는 듯 하지만, 이들이 처한 문제와 갈등이 여행으로 해결될 수 있는 '사소한' 개인들의 문제로 보이게 한다. 이러한 재현 방식을 통해 보여지는 이들의 삶은 '다큐멘터리'라는 장르의 특성상 수용자들이 '사실 그대로의 것'으로 받아들이게 한다. 즉, 이러한 재현은 이들이 처한 사회 구조적인 문제나 제도적 문제들이 은폐시킬 수 있으며, 이들의 갈등이 개인의 노력으로 해결 가능한 문제로 인식시킬 위험이 있다.
