A New Distributed Conference System Architecture using Extended CCMP in SIP Environment (SIP 환경에서 확장 CCMP를 사용한 새로운 분산 컨퍼런스 시스템 구조)

  • CCMP(centralized conferencing manipulation protocol) enables adding and removing conference participants, changing their roles, adding and removing media streams in conference system. In this paper, by using extended CCMP, a new distributed conference system architecture which can be used to multiple servers distributed conference system in SIP(session initiation protocol) environment has been presented. In this study, according to increasing number of participants, a new extended CCMP architecture which can distribute conference system loads to multiple servers dynamically to decrease loads of servers has been designed. This extended CCMP architecture also can add dynamically new servers from the prepared servers pool. Furthermore, new conference information data format which can represent extended CCMP has been designed, and exchange procedures of extended CCMP control messages which can distribute loads between servers have also been presented. The performance of the proposed system has been analysed by simulation.

  • The organization of the shipping conference -an international cartel, was approved by countries that recognized it for stabilizing routes as well as preventing excessive competition among liner shipping companies and recognized the characteristic of the liner service that is regularly repeated in the international liner shipping market. However, due to competition in bulk transportation and development of multimodal transport through new entrants, power expansion and vessel enlargement of non-aligned shipping companies; the shipping conference started collapsing, and was eventually abolished. As the shipping conference played an important role in the liner shipping market, there were changes in the competition structure of the liner shipping market, and this accordingly drove research on the effects of the abolition of the shipping conference on the liner shipping market. The effects of abolition of the shipping conference on the liner shipping market was analyzed after surveying the factors related to abolition of the shipping conference, and through the use of correlation and multiple regression analyses. Subsequent to the abolition of the shipping conference, the liner shipping companies increased global containership bottoms. Consequently, this led to fierce competition of freight charges. As a result, profitability of shipping companies diminished. However, shipping companies with a dominating cost structure recorded profits, while shipping companies with an inferior cost structure started recording a loss.

  • Currently, There is a conference system in one field of knowledge base system, the study against a conference of multimedia approach method is become accomplished actively. However, Case of the conference system which is studied from multimedia viewpoint, only it will bring the merit and demerit of the off-line conference of existing with on-line, it isn't considering to make knowledge plan of important conference content and method. This thesis proposes stand of Knowledge-base system architecture for it break from the method which composes a conference system from the multimedia side of existing and focus it will be able to contain existing systems to conference contents and method.

  • In this paper, we implemented the conference system based on DTLS for saving securely the VoIP, which is served sprightly in the latest, securely and tested (and also analyzed) the system. As VoIP technology development, demand of conference system is increased and the related technologies are growed. But Security protocol to protect conference service is getting late than conference technology. In this paper, we studied based on DTLS protocol that can provide function of signaling, channel security, media channel security and application of group key and apply to VoIP conference system based UDP unchanged. In this paper, we searched suggested security protocols based on DTLS can apply to conference system and implement and apply the protocol to conference system. And we tested (and also alayzed) overhead of encryption and key management mechanism.

  • In this paper, we propose and implement a hybrid-type video conference system using SIP protocol proposed in IEFT. This conference system, all signaling is controled by the server, while the media communication can be managed either by UAs or by the server. as a result, the complexity of its routing and user state management is reduced and it is applicable to the mobile environment of the ad-hoc models. The implemented server is scale enough to be used in a large conference because it only takes charge of signaling part. And also we see that UAs are only suitable in the small conference where less than ten people can join.

  • This paper describes the design and implementation of video conference system using hybrid type P2P(Peer to Peer). The proposed video conference system has hybrid type P2P architecture based on a client-server and P2P(Peer to Peer), where client-server is used for exchange of account management, client list and status information and P2P is used for the real time video conference. The proposed video conference system decreases the traffic of server, and cuts down the load of a network. Because the multimedia data is decentralized to client by P2P. Also, this system is tested by the multi-party video conference system using communication protocol and application software through high speed networks.

  • Multiparty conference service based on SIP supported by VoIP network is gradually increased in use and the continuous development and standardization works on SIP are in the process of advancing. But SIP used in currently does not support identity discovery and distribution of each participant for multipath conference. In this paper, a SIP extension method for guaranteeing security from the multiparty conference based on SIP is proposed. We design a new SIP header and method for discovering and distributing a participant's identity in closed multiparty conference when the call initiation is established. And it can ensure that each participant is notified before a new participant joins.

  • The Creation of bibliographic records for conference publication is difficult for catalogers and the records are difficult for patrons to use. We have found many difficulties in cataloging conference publications, because of the insufficiency and ambiguity of the cataloging rule. This study deals with the characteristics, type and data elements of conference publications, and the problems of the choice of heading and the creation of bibliographic records in the USMARC and KORMARC.

  • When exchanging user data between nodes in a hierarchical conference system using the endpoint mixing scheme, the hierarchical structure may cause extra delay. The algorithm[1] was proposed for minimizing the media delay between the number of the neighboring nodes. In this paper, we implement a hierarchical conference with SIP protocol based on the algorithm.
