Transparent conductive films of aluminium doped zinc oxide (AZO) have been prepared by using the DC magnetron sputtering with the ZnO : Al (Al2O3 2 wt%) oxide target oriented to c-axis. Electrical and optical properties depended upon the O2/Ar gas ratio. The optical transmittance and sheet resistance of the AZO coated glass was 60~65% and 75Ω/$\square$, respectively at the O2/Ar gas ratio of 0. With the increase of the oxygen partial pressure to 2.0$\times$10-2, they were increased to the values of 81% and 1kΩ/$\square$, respectively. The films with the resistivities of 1.2~1.4$\times$10-3 Ω.cm, mobilities of 11~13 $\textrm{cm}^2$/V.sec and carrier concentrations of 3.5$\times$1020~4.0$\times$1020/㎤ were produced at the optimum O2/Ar gas ratio, which was 0.5$\times$10-2~1.0$\times$10-2. According to XRD analysis, the films have only one peak corresponding to the (002) plane, which indicates that there is a strong preferred orientation of the films. The grain size of ZnO films were calculated to 200~320 $\AA$, which was increased with the O2/Ar gas ratio and Ar gas flowrate.
A thermoset type anisotropic conductive adhesive film (ACAF) comprising epoxy resin and natural butyl rubber (NBR) as the binder, micro-encapsulated imidazole as the curing agent, and Ni/Au coated polymer bead as a conductive particle has been studied. These films have been prepared to respond to requirements such as improved contact resistance, current status less of than 60 ${\mu}m$ and reliability. These films can also be used for connection between the ITO glass for LCD panel and the flexible circuit board. The curing conditions for the connection were 40, 20 and 15 seconds at 150, 170 and 190 $^{\circ}C$, respectively. The initial contact resistance and adhesion strength were 0.5 ${\Omega}/square$ and 0.4 kg/cm under the condition of 30 kgf/$^{cm}^2}$, respectively. After completing one thousand thermal shock cycling tests between -15 $^{\circ}C$ and 100 $^{\circ}C$, the contact resistance was maintained below 0.7 ${\Omega}/square$. Durability against high temperature (80$^{\circ}C$) and high humidity (85 % RH) was also tested to confirm long-term stability (1000 hrs) of the conduction.

Ru thin films were deposited on bi-axially textured Ni tape using rf-magnetron sputtering for a conductive buffer layer of high Tc superconductor applications. (002) textured Ni films were fabricated as the deposition temperature was over $600^{\circ}C$. Rocking curves of the films showed similar alignment to those the Ni tapes. The resistivity of the tapes fabricated below $600^{\circ}C$ was around 20$\mu\Omega$-cm which is good for the conductive layer for tape superconductor applications.

Aluminum-doped zinc oxide (AZO) films are attractive materials as transparent conductive electrode because they are inexpensive, nontoxic and abundant element compared with indium tin oxide (ITO). AZO films have been deposited on glass (corning 1737) substrates by RF magnetron sputtering system. The electrical resistivity of AZO films was $1.81{\times}10^{-2}{\Omega}cm$ and the average transmittance in the visible range 400-800 nm was more than 76% Organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) with AZO/TPD/$Alq_3$/Al configuration were fabricated. The current density-voltage properties of devices were studied and compared with ITO devices fabricated under the same conditions.
Low cost TCO(Transparent Conductive oxide) thin films were prepared by 3" DC/RF magnetron sputtering systems. For the AZO preparation processes a 99.99% AZO target (Zn: 98 wt.%, $Al_2O_3$: 2 wt.%) was used. In order to verify feasibility of the AZO thin films to organic light emitting device (OLED) application, test organic light emitting device was fabricated based on AZO as TCO, TPD as hole transporting layer (HTL), Alq3 as both emitting layer (EML) and electron transporting layer (ETL), and aluminium as cathode, where the both ITO and AZO surfaces were treated using $O_2$ RF plasma. The I-V characteristics of the AZO/TPD/Alq3/Al OLEDs were evaluated. As the results, the performance of the OLEDs with AZO as transparent conducting anode could be useable.

The phase transition between amorphous and crystalline states in chalcogenide semiconductor films can be controlled by electrical or pulsed laser beam; hence some chalcogenide semiconductor films can be applied to electrically write/erase nonvolatile memory devices, where the low conductive amorphous state and the high conductive crystalline state are assigned to binary states. In this letter, the characteristics of phase transition in differential chalcogenide thin film are investigated. Al was used for the electrode as the thickness of 100, 300, 500 nm, respectively.
Solution-based Sb-doped $SnO_2$ (ATO) transparent conductive oxides using a low-temperature process were fabricated by an electrospray technique followed by spin coating. We demonstrated their structural, chemical, morphological, electrical, and optical properties by means of X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, field-emission scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, Hall effect measurement system, and UV-Vis spectrophotometry. In order to investigate optimum electrical and optical properties at low-temperature annealing, we systemically coated two layer, four layer, and six layers of ATO sol-solution using spin-coating on the electrosprayed ATO thin films. The resistivity and optical transmittance of the ATO thin films decreased as the thickness of ATO sol-layer increased. Then, the ATO thin films with two sol-layers exhibited superb figure of merit compared to the other samples. The performance improvement in a low temperature process ($300^{\circ}C$) can be explained by the effect of enhanced carrier concentration due to the improved densification of the ATO thin films causing the optimum sol-layer coating. Therefore, the solution-based ATO thin films prepared at $300^{\circ}C$C exhibited the superb electrical (${\sim}7.25{\times}10^{-3}{\Omega}{\cdot}cm$) and optical transmittance (~83.1 %) performances.
The properties of the IZTO thin films on the glass were studied with a variation of the $SiO_2$ buffer layer thickness. $SiO_2$ buffer layers were deposited by plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) on the glass, and the In-Zn-Tin-Oxide (IZTO) thin films were deposited on the buffer layer by RF magnetron sputtering. All the IZTO thin films with the $SiO_2$ buffer layer are shown to be amorphous. Optimum $SiO_2$ buffer layer thickness was obtained through analyzing the structural, morphological, electrical, and optical properties of the IZTO thin films. As a result, the IZTO surface roughness is 0.273 nm with a sheet resistance of $25.32{\Omega}/sq$ and the average transmittance is 82.51% in the visible region, at a $SiO_2$ buffer layer thickness of 40 nm. The result indicates that the uniformity of surface and the properties of the IZTO thin film on the glass were improved by employing the $SiO_2$ buffer layer and the IZTO thin film can be applied well to the transparent conductive oxide for display devices.

We demonstrate a selective vapor-phase deposition of conductive poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) thin films on patterned $FeCl_3$. The PEDOT thin films were grown on various substrates by using the vapor-phase polymerization of ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) with $FeCl_3$ catalytic layers at 325 K. The selective deposition of the PEDOT thin films using vapor-phase polymerization was accomplished with patterned $FeCl_3$ layers as templates. Microcontact printing was done to prepare patterned $FeCl_3$ on polyethyleneterephthalate (PET) substrates. The selective vapor-phase deposition is based on the fact that the PEDOT thin films are selectively deposited only on the regions exposing $FeCl_3$ of the PET substrates, because the EDOT monomer can be polymerized only in the presence of oxidants, such as $FeCl_3$, Fe($CIO_4$), and iron(II) salts of organic acids/inorganic acids containing organic radicals.

150-nm-thick In-Zn-Tin-Oxide (IZTO) films were deposited by RF magnetron sputtering after a 10 to 50-nm-thick $SiO_2$ buffer layer was deposited by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrates. The electrical, structural, and optical properties of the IZTO/$SiO_2$/PET films were analyzed with respect to the thickness of the $SiO_2$ buffer layer. The mechanical properties were outstanding at a $SiO_2$ thickness of 50 nm, with a resistivity of $1.45{\times}10^{-3}{\Omega}-cm$, carrier concentration of $8.84{\times}10^{20}/cm^3$, hall mobility of $4.88cm^2/Vs$, and average IZTO surface roughness of 12.64 nm. Also, the transmittances were higher than 80%, and the structure of the IZTO films were amorphous, regardless of the $SiO_2$ thickness. These results indicate that these films are suitable for use as a transparent conductive oxide for transparency display devices.
